Loved the first Tinker Island and the management of different characters, and have been enjoying the direction the devs have taken the new game, like the rhythm-game combat, the continued clever text box things while reading the journal thing that pops up after completing a location or task, etc. Nice work totem heads.

We wish there was a mini game or sumn like in the first game with the flowers. After a while you run out of energy and just hop off.

Similar to first version. Im enjoying it so far.

We were a big fan of the first one (and havent finished it unfortunately) and we gotta so even just 5 minutes in we already like it a bit better. Its something to get used to but we love the fighting mechanics a lot better in this game.

Ive only been playing this game for about an hour and a half, but thats an hour and a half straight. We love it so far. The devs personality really comes through. Ive played text based games before and mostly found them boring or annoying. This one manages to be wry and sarcastic and self aware, which makes it really fun! Its a good combination of silly and scary and silly and also silly. It feels like a cartoon version of Lost combined with The Island of Dr. Moreau. Theyve clearly put a lot of thought into the storytelling, which we cant say about most games like it. The only thing we dont understand is why youre always dragging characters into circles like five times before you start the next segment. Id appreciate a better tie-in for that particular function. Other than that, loving it! Great job, devs.

Trust us, for the price its so worth it, especially at the beginning of the game.

Just the perfect number of fourth wall breaks.

Reminds us of the pick your own adventure books we read as a kid.

We love the new version of the game.

We love the first one but this put a fun twist on it Ive played for a little bit but Im already obsessed. There is only one problem they only allow you to rate it with 5 stars.

Loved these games since the first, excited to see how the devs keep making it better.

As of writing this we wholeheartedly know Ive only scratched the surface of the story. From years of playing the first game we had the chance to play a unique type of analog game, to which we can only praise the development team on their vision. The pixel graphics have improved from the first game. As well as the system to frequently boost characters stats, as well as recruiting new ones. We hope to see more updates for the game in the future! -Zedd36.

Ive been in love with this game since the first one. We love how your decision making affects the story, but yet doesnt stir the story completely its a perfect balance we recommend this game to anyone who wants a game you can hop in and out while dealing with your own life. Its fun and so enjoyable and even brought back the characters from the first one. If you are just starting with these, go back and play the first one first.

Expensive but besides that its fun to play we loved the first one.

Besides the part where all the characters sell out and say to leave a review, but good.

We will say this one has been better than the last one when it comes to the mechanics and story as the last one was very tedious and boring. The only thing is now its getting boring again after 1-2 weeks of playing. Once you get to the city you have to wait hours to do anything or progress with the story and youll wait like 5 hours to open up a mission just to talk with some for 10 secs and then wait another 3 hours to talk to someone else which just seems ridiculous. As well we noticed that it slowly becomes pay to win. You take much longer to get anywhere without paying but if you pay for the other characters and add another slot for a survivor youll be much faster and yet you have to pay ridiculous amounts just to get anywhere. We went from playing everyday to every other week and forgetting about it. Just the same thing as the last game Im the end.

A slight smile came across our face.

Its pretty, the story is interesting, the look of it is nice. We like the fighting mini game. We were pleased until we got to the point where we realized you cant just go gather wood you have to have green gems which arent easily obtained Unless you buy them. Pretty lame. You have to wait hours for some areas to unlock. You cant just gather other materials either, money money money.

The story line and dialogue are not interesting or engaging. Gameplay is pretty decent. What kills the game for us is the constant updates nerfing things. Resources that we gathered for weeks can be rendered almost worthless after a single update. They make it harder and harder to progress with each update. We have been through 3 updates now and each update made the game worse for us, not better.

This update yall just screwed up food?? Im not paying 400k for a pie that takes mad grinding gold for like no energy?? Change it back plz.

Honestly everything about this game is pretty similar to the first. Only thing is the energy cap. Making us wait hours after doing two things just to recharge energy.

Tinker island two has some fun moments, but we kept expecting to get past something tedious with no redeeming plot or novelty, and the second it seems to happen, another boring, unending grind emerges. It offers some dopamine, but unless you pay to play, the pacing is excruciating.

After you get the tent and campfire built, it tells you to continue exploring this would be easy, IF we COULD INTERACT WITH ANYTHING! Every icon in the game is non responsive, aside from dragging your characters to nowhere. We cant get anything done, and Im stuck. So we tried uninstalling and re-installing. Same bug. We wanna play the game so bad, but we barely got into the game and now we cant progress. PLEASE FIX IT.

We loved the first game and had been quite some time since we beat it so we figured Id redownload it. To our surprise there was a second game which we got really hyped for. We were expecting a continuation of the story but its more of a remake, new mechanics and cool graphics we cant wait till we get further in! If you were a fan of the first one you should definitely check this one out too.

Downloaded this today never played it before, well lets says we havent gotten off for 45 minutes working on our story line.

We dont know why people dont like this sequel, its has more survivors to unlock, but then this girl ask us to give us the ring otherwise Im selling illegal candy?! Thats no spoilers, anyway. Im almost finished the game. Maybe a new quest should be added.

Good game we played the first one and figured we try this one.

We never could quite finish the first game since we screwed ourselves on resource management, but we're happy to give this a new go! Looks beautiful so far.

Simply an amazing game we would recommend.

So far its entertaining. The ui needs to get tighter. Like sometimes the cards dont move when we try to move them. Also since Im not being flooded with ads. We can enjoy the experience of playing. If we like it a lot we will support. Good luck devs.

Good game with interesting gameplay. Would like more choice options to customize gameplay in future.

The game itself has been really pleasant and enjoyable. We dont mind the timers as thats what an idle game often is and they feel very reasonable. Story is enjoyable with humorous dialog. The only issue we have is with base camp upgrades. Access to the resources needed to do necessary upgrades become VERY difficult to achieve through progression without spending money. And the price point at which you have to spend in order to even purchase the materials is way too high. So while the game is great, Im starting to lose interest and become defeated with the stalling out of improvements able to make. Super bummed.

Hopefully doesnt entail with us needing to buy anything.

The combat are better then the wheel And im able to heal charecters.

Its a bit silly but in all our years of playing games, this one has sparked something new and creative. So far it has kept our interest. It has something unique that no other games have. Great job developers.

We could play this all day for multiple days.

When we played the first tinker island we were hooked bc of the dialogue. They devs have stepped it up a notch with how meta the game can be and we love that 4th wall breaking experience. The game is also really addicting but the writing is top notch.

Chests are the main source of your item and character upgrades in this game. They are set on timers and are very much underwhelming overall. They are exorbitantly expensive using the in game p2w currency, which youll trickle in at 3-5 a day if youre lucky. You wont be. The higher end chests cost between 1.7 and 3k. But wait, we can watch ads for chests!! Just two, and they take awhile to refresh but its something, right? Theyre named exactly the same as the chests you would acquire in a location but NERFED as can be, maybe 1/4-1/3 of a normal chest reward. Again, if youre lucky, which you wont be. Hard pass on this one, another foolish decision to make a f2p into a tedious void unless you throw money at it.

Id like to play it, but the game refuses to open. We have tried uninstalling and reinstall but it does not work.

We loved tinker island 1 where gems were a side thing but this game seems kinda just like a cash grab on the success of tinker island 1 may improve if you get rid of timers actually think about the grammar and flesh out the story more we were talking with the survivors when they were going on a day at the lagoon and the survivor said Rober instead of Robert and it was ver immersion breaching.

Loved it when we were younger and love this new one. Lots of memories.

This game is a little confusing because its not your normal survive on an island game. Its mostly story based which is nice due to their lack of robotic story telling. Often times story games are so robotic and repetitive that theyre not fun to play. But this one is based off of the many choices you pick, also some of the smarta** remarks are really funny. All in all it deserve 5 stars, it deserves more attention, and hopefully it will keep getting updates regularly :).

Its a great game and we loved tinker island 1 as well! Great game idea, thanks so much for making this game.

Its better than the first one. Well made.

Im not to far in to this game yet but we are likening so far.

Games cool and a good and slow starts.

Nice changes from the first one.

This is the most beautiful thing Ive ever seen. Its here.

Its a good game, if you played the first game you know most of what youre getting.
