Community Insight:
We like the game, all we have is one TINY issue. The coins are a good currency and all, but the Prayer cost is a little much. We are pretty sure that anybody new that wants something from an event will be quite mad. It would be fair to at least lower the cost to 10,000 coins instead of 15,000. A tiny detail that would make the world of a difference.
When Im at the Home Screen when we drag it into any folder the picture changes and when we go to the folder it goes back to normal plus we love this game a lot.
Taking pity away is never a good take. A big fan will get screwed over and it will always happen. Keep pity in the game even if its large.
The game is really fun but there are some stuff we think would be really good for people playing this, we think players should get more seal crystals daily and more gold to make it easy to do prayers and ect, there should be a friend list system to add other real people to and to play with them together, another thing is bringing old prayer exclusive characters to the standard one and ect because we havent got yuyuko or eirin yet so that way people can get them without worrying about their pitty and make the rates of getting characters higher than getting story cards,last thing we want them to have is a clan function and a chat system and for the clan function there should be special boosts you can activate to make stages a bit easier and thats all we think we need touhou lostword to have and overall its a fantastic game.
It's extremely boring below mid game.
We originally played the JP version and was delighted that it was brought to global. First yes its a gacha, so if you cant square with that youre just getting angry over nothing. The gacha itself is mostly fair, youll still obtain plenty of rares and limited characters on F2P. Global actually grants far more free spins than JP too. Why you should play. Story. Its pretty fun and the writers understand the franchise (as they should). Lots of events and challenges, the later you dont really have to do but has some nice rewards. The bad: Global seems to want to be about two weeks offset from JP. This means a barrage of banners and no time to save if you are F2P so it becomes a game of get lucky or drop some dosh. The global team does try to be accommodating with some free spins at the least along with regular banner reruns. The good: There is a healthy discord community that will help you understand the depth of the battle system and take on hard content. The art is beautiful. Voice overs are by some of your favorite anime voice actors. Music is fantastic. Story is fun.
Somehow made us notice we feel uncomfortable biological gender. Do not ask how this game helped us end up as a Trans Demiboy. It happened. Thats all you need to know. ANYWAYS AMAZING GAME. WOULD SUGGEST. GO PLAY IT.
We love this game it is very fun to play and the creator really care about Touhou. Our only problem with it is how fast they release characters, but this is a ten out of ten game and we love playing it.
So we were just watching YouTube when an ad for this came on. We thought it looked really interesting and loved the art style. And when we downloaded it, we were not disappointed. The gameplay is so fun and its overall just an amazing game. There are even choices you can make, so not everyone ends up doing the same things! We would definitely recommend.

This game suits us because we love anime games and fighting anime games so like this is so cool we love the characters outfit we like our favorite character is oh we forgot her name but we love that character so much and like this like this is the best anime game we ever played this is so cool we love it so much.
It really needs to add a multiplayer mode where you can go against real people or team up with a friend irl in a team game mode.
We like it is entertaining, always putting different events and adding more characters. The only thing that we dont like is that they always give us repeating characters. Right now they have the forever prayer and its been several days that appears repetitive characters; characters that we already have. And in the daily prayer they only give us cards; why they put many characters if it gives us only cards and repetitive characters that we already have.
Tried downloading it on multiple occasions but it gets stuck past 60%, which is frustrating.

50 ritual stones pls,last time we got 2 ritual stones, we got a character we got the whole time.
We try to be there for many dev letters because of how phenomenal your game is! On one of our accounts, we left sakuya in the school for like a month and got her to level 53! Never had any complaints about this game! Also we enjoyed that every day for 7 days we got a character! Flandre is our favorite character so it was enjoyed very much. Also, the developers are so on top of fixing even the littlest of bugs! Thanks for making touhou lostword.
Honestly good. Way bette than the old cannonball gacha touhou game. AND THEY REALLY TAKE CREATIVE LIBERTIES. 10/10.
We checked out this game because of the free Pomu Rainpuff Nijisanji EN cover and it's been really great so far. The gameplay seems like it has a lot of hidden depth but the music and art are so good! We love the story card art, so many different artists bring life to all of our favorite Gensokyo residents. We also really love how you can choose different voices and costumes! Being able to hear songs by a wide range of remixers including Ninjisanji livers like Pomu or old faves like Cool and Create make it worth checking out for any Touhou fan.
Touhou LostWord is very epic! Ive beaten the game, clearly waiting for Act 4 of Chapter 3 to come out. Today we got Rins last word! And happy anniversary.
The game is fine, and the characters are nice. But the gacha has driven us to the point that we quit and we've played since global launch. There's constant Ultra Festival banners, which means for Exchange Points to get units for sure. You need 250 Exchange Points, which is 25 Multi Prayers, oh and they're 50 Seal Crystals a shot. You want units? Good luck, you get full multi prayers with nothing but Story Cards. What happened to normal 150 Exchange Points banners? 500 God Crystals for 50 Seal Crystals. No. We quit. Every unit on banners we pulled for was gotten on Exchange, pull prices are stupid. Gameplay is fine but we're not returning to this, what a waste. Pay 2 Win with constant expensive banners.

Its not like actual touhou gameplay but still fun, It is a bit boring but its chill and you can get friends of characters you like. Characters you like. Characters we like koishi.
The game is fun, but we feel like theres a better chance of getting a normal prayer unit than the unit in a festival or pick-up. Also, fantasy rebirth stages should give more mirrors of rebirth.
This game is very power creep. Always putting out increasingly powerful characters that needs divine paper dolls to limit break. For those who are free to play or do not want to grind too much, the game is pay-to-win at some point.
The game is good and fun with cool characters but they told us Id get 100 free pulls when we download the game they didnt give us the 100 free pulls and they only gave us around 30 so we give this game a one star.
We admit, at first glance we didnt think much if this game but after playing we cant seem to put it down. The cute characters, colorful graphics, interesting powers and storyline really captivate with the audience in mind. 5/5.

Since this game had a gacha system, we were not entirely for it that was until we realized how many of the pull currency they give you on a day to day basis.
Hey so we entered the game and tried to do the tower mode but it wouldn't let us. When we check the shop it said we have -89 god crystals. Please fix this bug asap.
Ive played on different accounts- for years. And we love touhou and loved this game but other games have better gacha resultsits just not worth it anymore.
We'll be honest, we haven't touched this game in like how long? 2 years or so but we do remember how the game operates it is very RNG based, progressing in the game may or may not depend on the units you get from gacha. We feel like they're going way a little overboard with the new touhou unit designs, they used to be cool but as time progresses some of the newly released touhou characters and their designs hm, how should we say thisi kinda feel like some original touhou characters lose their charm? Like the red cirno thing idk what's it called and we genuinely don't care what it's called lol getting seal crystals aren't necessarily hard but over time as the game lacks content because of the scarlet tower and continuous character releases, the grinding gets overwhelmingly boring and repetitive. God crystals are incredibly hard to get unless you get those 'special occurrences' in TLW since most of them can only be bought through MONEY. The actual story content itself is slow to release sometimes because for 'SOME REASON' they primarily focus on character releases. We have a good feeling why they mostly focus on character releases though and you might too! Now for paper dolls. Paper dolls. Oh our god. We feel like we have to wait a thousand years just to get a specific paper doll, it's like waiting for scythe (from phighting) to get another skin and the entire game is just a cash grab! That's all we cannot believe we had played this game for almost three whole years before actually quitting, there is almost nothing fun in this game, even though we love touhou.
After we updated and downloaded the game, the touch effects sometimes never show up when we touch the screen, and the game crashes when Ive been playing for a while. We hope theyll fix it on the next update.

We cant login it just like theres a login it just keeps counseling we cant go into a server in the beginning.
This game is good its just that we need to grind gc (god crystals) because like if you want a character, the thing im mad about is that you get 10- god crystals, like spend 5 trillion spirit points just to get 10 god crystals, 10.
This is very interesting and also fun! We like the story line and also the character art. However, we got bored after one day. We dont know how to get interested again but Im looking forward to more.
Hello everyone! We gave this game a 4star rating because we really do enjoy the game and love the characters, especially the voice acting. The problem we have is that we had bought in-game currency on our old device and spent it on some new characters but since we have a new device we dont have any of our stuff. We tried linking our old accounts through Facebook and our Apple ID. It didnt work. We were going to contact the developers but we cant because we do not know our old User name or ID. We would love to play this game again but unfortunately we cant. If any developer sees this please help us.
We havent played this game yet we hope there is no loli involved hahahaha.
Only reason this isnt 1* is because we like the main menu interactions with the characters, the art, and the banger soundtrack. Unfortunately, the gacha system is rigged in favor of players who pay. Paid currency gets better rates and rewards from the gacha. Rule #1 of gachas is that you AVOID games where a different paid currency exists, but unfortunately this is one of the best ways to get our Touhou fix, so we have to bear with it. Hope you enjoy saving 6 months to get enough free currency to spark a single new character (pity does not carry over between banners). Gotta love how free pulls also use up your coins, so while saving those up we hope you enjoy not being able to claim coins from the services tab for 6 months. As for the gameplay, its just tedious and boring. Gotta play manually for harder stages, too. Example of gameplay loop: spam all skills turn 1, use a mixture of spell cards and last words that the auto AI is too stupid to comprehend, reset when the combination of moves you used doesnt deplete one enemy HP bar, repeat. Its also best to just look away from your screen when you have it set to auto farm stages, because the AI is incapable of recognizing when it should use single target or AoE moves and it DEFINITELY cant recognize enemy weaknesses and resistances. Feels bad leaving such a bitter review for the main game that allows us to enjoy Touhou, but the game itself is just unacceptably stale and designed as an obnoxious cash grab.
This game is an excellent daily play. Also Kogasa being a login jumpscare is what officially made this game peak.
The game itself isnt half bad honestly. They have plenty of content you can scroll through and plenty of side events you can tackle. It has hours of content you can use your time on if youre ever bored, which we find a good thing. The collaborations are insane, the character designs are cool, and the music is pretty great to listen to. The game itself isnt bad at all, Id say its pretty decent for being a gacha game. The only thing that isnt good is the mixed story content in the later chapters and the unfriendly F2P part of the game. Chapter 4s story starts off pretty good, but it then ends up as a bunch of unnecessary filler that doesnt really connect to the beginning of the chapter itself. They couldve just made it a side story based off the chapter. Its not really a huge problem, but we kinda lost interest of the chapters story. The previous chapters are better in our opinion, go read those instead. As for the F2P in the game, the devs give you a bunch of free characters within certain times, but its always the standard characters from the original banners of the game and never any of the stronger, cooler characters of the game. The pity points you obtain within certain character summons are NOT transferred into any other banner-instead they just expire and you cant use them anymore. So in the end if you grind a lot to invest in a certain character you want but dont end up getting them, you better hope you have enough pity points before they leave. Because if you dont, it ends up as a complete waste of resources that ends up being useless. Either you pay for in-game currency to boost your chances to get the better characters, or you end up grinding for months straight to end up grinding enough pity points before the banner leaves. All in all, we wouldnt invest in this game unless you really want to, because youre not guaranteed anything youd want in this game. Other than that, the games not that bad.
We think touhou was a old game and the character got a new design we know whats a fumo the game battles are really easy but not the lv.200 battles the character are just okay the character need more design but lets be real this time remiu and marisa need more design every character have a lot of design then them they are the main character but they dont have popularity in this game and that all of them are cute the one problem is that lagging not that much.
Been playing since launch, is 100% grindfest afk sim at a certain point. Enjoy collecting your favorite Touhou girls.
To start, this is a genuinely good game; the only argument against this game is that it's a gacha game, which is true, but after 3 years, becomes really weak if it's still up and going strong. Oh, and also, it's not hard to be able to do a ten pull; just save up for any specific banners you want, but you might want to save up a LOT for banners. Not to mention the fact that the more recent friends that aren't L1 are either really strong, or better than the common L1 girlie. So yes, the game is easy, little to no VALID complaints.
How do we casually get 6 exclusive characters with 155 seal crystals.
