Simply the best game ever. Im glad to have it back. We had it on our old iPad which we had to keep just for Tower Madness. Everyone would ask us Why do you carry two iPads? Being a highly respected College professor we found it a bit awkward to explainuntil now. The upgrade is spectacular.
So happy to see this finally updated to 64 bit. Now just update the iPhone app as well and all will be right with the world.
This is the best tower game of all time. Please update it. We would gladly pay for it again with some extra levels and working on latest hardware.
This has been and still is our favorite iOS Tower Defense game. Replay-ability is five stars, we’ve been playing it for more than 5 years on iPad and iPhone alike – our Son found it originally when he was very young, we now compete in split-screen mode on our iPad Pro and just have a ball with it. The gameplay is smooth & no nonsense, none of the extra graphics & complexity of the new version – just good quality well thought out gameplay.
This is the best Tower Defense game ever. We’ve been playing it for years and it is still our favorite. Please offer new courses and we and others will purchase as soon as available. Simply stated once again, its the best!

This has been our favorite game for years. We love Tower Defense games and we have about a dozen of them, but this is still our favorite.
We’ve enjoyed this game for years. We’ve purchased the entire map set and all the weapons. Its a great game thats really stood the test of time. Unfortunately, after the last IPad upgrade it stopped working. Please fix this and put out some new maps and weapons for us to buy.
Im thrilled they made an update. This is the only game we consistently play year over year and never tire of it. The part two version is terrible and not nearly as robust or as much fun as this. Please dont ignore updates or making new maps for this version, best. Game. Ever.
Best TD game we have found we play it on the elliptical while we run almost every day for over 2 years.
We’ve had this game on an iOS device since the day we got our first iPhone back in 2009. We purchased the iPad version the day it came out and have played at least one session a day for almost 10 years. Buy it. Youll love it.

We have been playing this game since 2011 (almost 12 years so far) and it is still the best iOS tower defense game in our opinion, and one of our favorite video games overall. It is well-designed, smooth, humorous, and has the right amount of challenge. It is also an excellent value for its modest cost(s).

We were somehow able to download the old version from like, 2010. We LOVE it! This used to be our favorite game until the update made it so different. We quit playing for several years. So glad to still have access to the old one now. YAY!

We have loved this game for years, and – not kidding – even put off upgrading to iOS 11 for a little while just so we could still play this game. Im SO happy to have it back. (Im assuming iPhone support is in the pipeline too…). Now – can we get more maps? More weapons upgrades? We bought the previous ones, and if there are more Ill likely buy them too! We so much prefer this model of game play vs where things seem to have been going: these games start and end (for the most part) in one session; theyre on our device, not a server somewhere; we buy the game and if we want to, permanent upgrades, not loot boxes to spend and in-game gold and other nonsense. Wecome back, Tower Madness!

The game used to be amazing. Now it wont load.

We have yet to find another TD game we like. This one has superb gameplay. Others are boring with set paths for enemies to follow. Enemies in this game dont follow a set path (or when they do, there is still the illusion theyre not). Some purchases are necessary. We got through all but one level with just an additional flamethrower. Additional levels will cost, too Speaking of additional level, there havent been any for years. We would like to see more levels and even see a level creator for the community to share home brewed levels. TD 2 is horrible. Dont bother with it. It has the set paths we mentioned earlier and is so convoluted its not fun. Im guessing this game was abandoned in favor of #2. Too bad. This is the best TD game we’ve played.
This is the best tower defense game we’ve seen. Highly addictive. Unfortunately we have not been able to log in to Game Center for quite awhile. We used to have a number of top scores. KaiDog.
Tower 2 sucked, but this game allows you to win in many different ways. Watching others and your own replays is very helpful as well. Very glad this was updated.
A fun game we can easily get absorbed in. Sure beats a ton of modern-day games.

Dear Limbic, please add more maps! This, and its sequel TM2, are our go to games when Im waiting and without internet access. Thank you for a great game! We got it back when it was free. Paid for other maps and upgrades. All worth it. The best to your team. May you all have continuous success.

We have played Tower Madness since it first came out on apple devices. It is by far the best of its king and the experience has never been duplicated. We thought it was dead years ago and just happened to find out they upgraded to the new Apple standards. We reinstalled and am thrilled. We think if they came out with a new levels pack, they would be thrilled with the response.
It is A very good game to play. Its the quintessential tower defence game defining the genre.
Dont give up on this game Limbic. Its fantastic. Please provide some new maps, maybe a couple new weapons, a new alien. Something!

We’ve had a lot of fun playing this over the past few years, but with the new update all the maps we bought previously are no longer available to play without purchasing again. Hopefully this will get fixed!
This is our third or fourth time downloading this game since it was originally released. Every time we decide to play it again, we end up having to re-purchase maps and weapons. It seems the restore purchases does not work properly with this game.
We spent 5 DOLLARS hoping it would be fun but it isnt and our mom wont give us our money back until iTunes gives her money back so pleeeeeeeease please give our account the 5 dollars back plz we just want to use it on better stuff so give us our money back please please please.

They havent added any new maps in a long time. Also, even if you buy all of the upgrades and maps, at some point those may get dropped. That happened to us. The game restored some of our previous purchases, but not all of them.
Youd think TowerMadnessHD would be an improvement over TowerMadness2, but youd be wrong. This list of unimprovements just scratches the surface. 1 – Targeting selection is gone. You used to be able to choose whether a tower targeted the first aliens to land, the last, the strongest or the closest. Now, the game picks its own targets, often stupidly, allowing aliens closer to the sheep to just march on by without damage. Very frustrating. 2 – Tower pre-purchasing is gone. You used to be able to tap for a purchase or upgrade before you could afford it. As soon as you got enough gold, the new tower would appear. Not any more. 3 – Square selection is buggy on our iPad Pro. We tap somewhere and a square somewhere else gets selected. Sometimes its off by only one grid unit, sometimes its nowhere near where we tapped. If youre trying to implement a quick defense, this will drive you mad. 4 – Selector obscures the board. When you tap a square, a selector appears that covers the surrounding squares, making it difficult to tell whether youre selecting the right one, among other things. TM2 put the selector out of the way at the top of the screen, which is much better for usability. 5 – Selection clears after each action. TM2 allowed you to select a square, and trigger an action with each subsequent tap because the square stayed selected. You could pick a square, buy a tower and upgrade it 5 times with 7 taps. Now after each action, the square becomes unselected and it takes 13 taps to do the same thing. Its like walking with your shoelaces tied together. 6 – No more time crystals. TM2 allowed you to return to an earlier state of the game by burning a time crystal. If you lost a sheep, you could have a do-over by backing up and making a different decision. That feature is just gone. If you mess up, you have to start over from scratch. 7 – Time-based scoring is gone. In TM2, you beat your previous score by completing the game more quickly. Now, time plays no part in scoring. Strategies for shaving off a second here and a second there are no longer useful. There are more unimprovements. If we knew these before buying this version, we wouldnt have.
You cant see other ratings as before, its been weeks and seems to be off line. Game is not very good without previous scores. Sad.
We already paid for all the extras and it does not show it. Contacted company no response- save your money.
Recently all connections to their servers has stopped. Making it impossible to check high scores etc. Please fix!
