It’s rated 12+ and currently has 62+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Trouble With Robots Stand Out

Richard Garfield, Game Designer (Magic: The Gathering, King Of Tokyo) says, "It is terrific to be able to play Trouble With Robots again – it is overdue for iOS. It surprised me that it still feels unlike anything else I have played, I would have expected some other game developers to use this obviously good game formula to make a bunch of exciting new games. I hope that it gets the success and attention it deserves – and inspires the new games which >I< deserve!"

Shaun Musgrave, Toucharcade.com says, "I enjoyed it just on its cheeky attitude alone, with the surprising depth of the gameplay at higher levels proving to be the icing on the cake. If you give it a try, it will probably win you over the same way."

Community Insight:

We got this game quite a while ago and played it on car rides and during other young kid things grandmas house you name it we got bord a few days ago found this again playing it again love it ik last ratings and latest updates where like 9-10 years ago but still realy good game.

Everything is perfect no purchases top notch humor great story and variety of cards in effects for all kinds of decks and combos.

This is a neat little game with lots of strategy and tactics. Dont expect the protracted playing length of many pay2win games, but its not pay2win at all so thats more than fine. Well worth the download and keep pushing past the first few levels to discover the tactical side of things.

Very addicting and fun game! Just spent like our whole day playing this game. Just amazing.

Great game. Super fun and actually free to play? What next.

We highly enjoy this game. Having come from a life of playing CCGs like Pokemon and MTG it was nice to find a good CCG with plenty of strategy that didn't cost an arm and a leg to build well working decks with. The storyline is fun and just engaging enough to keep us playing and the humor is not too forced. All in all a good pick for an entertaining game to keep you occupied.

The strategy ranks up there with the other greats. Lots of fun, especially on hard mode.

We got the app for free today. We have been looking for a card game that is not difficult to understand how to play. You get to choose the difficulty level which is good.

We live for games that push our brain to the max. Playing on hard is a real challenge. The simple graphics could not be more misleading. This is a fine tuned game through and through. We literally WISH there were IAP so we could support whoever made this. Let's have some more games that require real skill and strategy! :).

This is a great strategic card game that anyone can pick up and play.

Thanks for the continued support and decision to go premium.

Game is hilarious and fun. Simple concept human army versus robots. Play a couple random cards from your deck each wave. Totally free no commercials! Probably deserves 5 stars for being free without commercials but Im not totally salivating to play the game.

There's not much strategy though and the graphics are kind of silly and cartoonish. The story is alright and the funny elements on the humans vs. Robots are mildly interesting but nothing unique.

Please stop asking us to rate your game. Thanks.

Fun game mechanics, awesome storyline with humorous dialogue. It's not too easy or too hard and there's always a different strategy to play. Lots of cards and always something to work towards. Great game.

Humorous storyline, with seriously brilliant gameplay. Scales up the tactical options as you advance, stays challenging and engaging. Get it.

What an unexpected gem. Beautiful, funny, strategic, fun.

We usually settle for two out of three – a game will be a fun, interesting version of something we've seen before, or more often it's new but a cakewalk. This game is about perfect, no settling required.

Great game, just got started but it's great so far.

We don't write many reviews, and we don't buy many games, but this game has exactly what we were looking for: a "collectible card game tower defense!" It combines our two favorite types of games. Well done, guys.

Fun game in the all too rare CCG/RTS design space. Devising new strategies as your collection expands is the backbone game mechanic, and it works well. The "dialogue" is funny and rather charming. You get to play several missions for free before having to decide whether or not to pay to continue. The 2nd and 3rd chapters can be bundled for $4.00. Aside from this, there is no IAP. It's a very ethical and fair business model. Buy it.

This is probably one of the best games we've played. It's fun and easy to play, it's challenging but not impossible, and it's full of humor and entertainment. The only downside is the incessant requesting to rate it. If it hadn't been for that, we'd have given it 5 stars. Hopefully now that we have rated it they'll go away.

It's good but to have much of a game you needa buy the extra chapters but there's no buying gold or gems or other micro transactions like a lot of other games.

We like the idea of the game, it is fun to play, but.. If you get a phone call in the middle of a game the app closes and you lose all progress. Also the app crashes about every 3rd game. The continuous asking for review is annoying as well.

We like this game, but unfortunately it asks us endlessly to rate it, with no option to have it stop asking us until we do what the developer wants. We find that rude & disrespectful. We have a policy: if your game disrespects the player, then there is no reason why the player should respect your game.

This game is great. The fact that we bugged us about leaving a review after EVERY round is causing this one star rating. Give an option to "never" review and we will rethink this rating.

Great game that's easy to learn, hard to master. We had no idea that Play-Asia was in the gaming business – we wish them much success, especially if they keep coming with games of this calibre.

This game wants us to write a review. In that case, we'll tell you now that the game is fun.

Best iPhone game we've ever played.

Love it. Great story line. Milwaukee fan.

We like this game. It's fun. You can earn dragons. They're actually called Storm Dragons. It's pretty cool because sometimes the bad guys come on your side, but not very often. Hmm. You earn umm uhhh some cards and umm some are pretty powerful, like the stun. It can stun the dragons on the mountaintop. On one level umm this uhh these uhh little tiny robot attacks and this little archer is hilarious, she has a funny joke.

Easy on easy, hard on hard. Quality game that's cheesy but great fun.

This game is well worth the price they are asking. And considering the first part of the game is free you need to check it out.

We like the game a lot. It is very well made and runs very smoothly :) we learned about it at Tech :).

Hard to put down at first, gameplay is fun, the characters funny, the cards are cool, we keep coming back to try the harder levels and to try to get more cards. You should play it. H.

This is a fun strategy game with a witty storyline and no constant pestering for $0.99 upgrades. The tutorials are 1990s brief and just get you playing as soon as possible without having to click through dozens of dialogue boxes. The animation of the SD fighters is limited but economical and smooth. This is where more games need to go! For fans of Dragonforce, Langrisser, that sort of thing. A breath of fresh air.

And the hard is not impossible to beat.

One of our favorite games ^_^d Absolutely amazing ! Excellent fun and very nostalgic for card / war game fans. The only critique we would give is that toward the end of the game the map overhead is a bit cluttered and we wish there was a way we could look at all of our cards outside of entering a level as well as being able to save our game to the iCloud.

Solid game, good mechanics & fun. About 2 hours of gameplay, about 7+ hours to unlock all the cards. A joy to play if you like card based strategy games.

We're having loads of fun with TWR! The draw three system is great, and the card variety is awesome. There's plenty of levels to fight through, and the expansion content is well worth it. The challenge levels will really test your deck building skills and limited mode even more so! Great game for casuals and hardcore players.

Fantastic game and great play through. Gotta try it.

Nice tactics game with a solid curve and progression. Choices are clear, feedback is good, but with enough variety that it doesn't get stale.

Awesome work for your first release Play Asia! Keep it up.

Glad we grabbed this game. Its quite fun with a very humorous story. Since bonus stars are awarded for clearing waves without losing any units, deciding when to heal in order to manage health is important. Luckily there are a variety of ways to heal so you can work different strategies into your deck.

Pretty fun game. Not a very long one bit enough for a boring afternoon or while you're waiting for someone.

Fun, quick, addictive, and free. Get it.

Tons of fun. Kudos to the devs for a deep and fun experience.

Great fun way to pass time. Once you unlock more cards it becomes a challenge to figure out how to stack your deck as each level presents new challenges. Awesome game.

Fun and challenging game that you can play for minutes or hours. Good variety and high replay value with the goals to earn each card. Multiple difficulty levels selectable every mission will make it accessible for nearly everyone. Good dashes of humor and nice colorful graphics.

No nagging about microtransactions and solid gameplay.
