Underwatch was created as a project from Codevember 2019. A small team of former students of the University of Tübingen and other people for artwork, music and more developed and designed this project together.

This is surprisingly good for a low budget game as the graphics are smooth. We think there is only problem for this game and thats that the levels can be rather repetitive at times. But overall this isnt an issue since you came here to get something to do. Thank you guys for the work you put into this game as we have yet to 100% it but we will add another 5 stars when we do! This game is perfect, simple mechanics, simple objective, but just hard enough to keep you wanting. We, ourselves, finished the game in one go, had about 90 caughts, not much proud of that. This game made us remember about the flash games we used to play in the 2010s, great music and atmosphere for you to die as much as you may, but with jokes and great personality to keep you motivated. Overall gives all it offers, 5/5.
This game is very fun, interactive, and easy to control. The update really helped a lot. Cant wait for the next edition.

This game throws you straight into the action making you think hard and learn from your mistakes. We got stuck in some levels and it never felt repetitive because of the amazing atmosphere! We love stealth games or games where you have to avoid danger instead of destroying everything in your path, and in this game you have no way to fight back because your a tiny rat which makes it all the more challenging! Its kinda amazing this is a mobile game, we would of thought of this as more of a fun indie game on Steam! We completed escaping the warehouse in about an hour, and was thinking to ourselves, wow that was kinda short but we really enjoyed it from how much it made us think and strategize. But it got way longer with the part where you actually had to escape your mind as well! The controls are decent, all it is is a joystick but thats all you really need. We like how when you move with the right hand the joystick thingy moves to the right of the screen too so you its a little easier to see everything. We do wish that if you where in a really tight spot between boxes or something along those lines, it would be a slight bit easier to get out because we got stuck in the boxes once while we were hiding from a camera and when we finally walked the correct to leave the boxes the camera panned back up and saw us. So just make it a little easier to not get stuck, but we dont really have any other complaints. Overall this is an amazing game, especially considering its on mobile. The atmosphere is great, and so are the many ideas implemented in this game as you progress. Some people might not like that once you reach the part where you also have to escape your mind you have to move a lot quicker when you start because the starting area is no longer safe in some areas but we personally loved that! The game is very fast paced in some spots and other spots where you have to be super patient and sometimes run into the light early. Sorry for making this a long review, but we just love to talk a lot. ANYWAYS THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE GAME AND IT 100% DESERVES A DOWNLOAD! ITS EASY TO LEARN AND GET we TO IF YOU DONT LIKE STEALTH GAMES, AND IF YOU DO THEN YOUR IN FOR A REAL TREAT! ENJOY.
We really loved the game, the concept is interesting and the puzzles were entertaining and fun to figure out. However there is a bug in the game where the player can just enter a level, go back to the menu (without completing it) and the next level is already unlocked. But other than that this game was an excellent choice, we wait for more games like this to be developed.
As another reviewer said, great concept, clunky controls. You need to be able to move quickly and accurately. You cant.
We really enjoyed how this game works, but we have been stuck on one level for multiple days of trying, about 2 hours. Currently we are on level 3 of The Office. You have to go around a wall, but the way the mouse moves and how big it is really makes it difficult. If this level is this hard, we cant imagine what levels to come will be like. Again, great concept, but really bad controls.
Not a bad game. Was a decent time waster until we noticed the political statements on the notice boards in the background. We like to use games to distract ourselves from the world, not to have messages shoved down our throat.
Enjoyable idea of a game, then we saw the political propaganda pop up.
Why was there a 'black lives matter' flashing on a screen in the game.
In one of the signs it said Black Lives Matter. Dont bring that into a game. We dont like it.
We download games to take a break from the BS going on in the world. Five levels in and theres a big flashing poster that reads black lives matter. Stop slipping politics into entertainment.
We just finished the game and honestly its really fun. We get this ominous feeling while we play and it really makes us feel like Im in the room itself. The cutscene at the end is really mysterious as well. Hope to see more of either this game or something else like it.
This game is a 10/10 game would totally recommend ive got to the second stage of the game where you escape the mind and its really cool especially the fact that 4 people made this.
Im surprised this game is free! Even you its a bit short, its very well made with an interesting story that simple but has a lot of depth at the same time. Its a simple game with a simple story, and Im very happy we decided to get it! A+.
Great game but, needs more theme and plot. Also the Controls are hard to use we like Last thing maby put a before the cage was opened or show the rat getting tested on.
It took us a while to finish, but this game just has an incredible feel, atmosphere, and imagery. The story is important but we like that its not the main part of the game.
Great game, the beginning was a little boring but after that it got good. Maybe as a suggestion in the second stage change up the levels more. Also when we exit it takes us back a room. All in all it is a good game that is worth a try.

The over all experience was great a few challenging levels you have to think about and get the hang of to clear. Really liked the premise of always hiding in the shadows. The controls are pretty bad but they didnt kill us too often. Also just a thought but we were searching for like little collectibles or lore bits and in different desks and places that were kinda out of the way. Is that something you guys (the developers) want to or have thought of implementing just curious. Again great game really enjoyed it the atmosphere and level design was amazing wouldnt mind playing through the game again if you guys (the developers) make a huge update to the story or levels.
No ads, in app purchases, and free…generally not something we want to mess with. This game though, even with the simple concept of staying on the lines and graphics dont short change you. We were addicted early on, and immersed by the music sometimes feeling like we were the rat. Like many reviews the controls are sometimes tricky especially if playing the Hard X levels; we felt to be delaying some in those when we try to scurry. Replaying with the new/removed boundaries was fun we could just do what we had before. Hope theres a part 2 or just another game by yall soon. Thanks for a good game thats wallet friendly.
We had a really good time playing this game. It is a fun, unique game with a great atmosphere. For a game with a seemingly simple premise, we felt as though the plot was good, and not to complicated. The controls can definitely be improved, but they are still good, and we have few complaints about them. The only problem that we had with the levels was that on ad one of the ones that would have been more complicated and fun, you were able to hug the wall closest to the camera, and stay hidden, easily beating the level. Other than that, we had a great time. Thanks.
Its was absolutely amazing, we loved it!!! The story and the game play just really pulled us in. Im our opinion, this was an amazing game and we hope to play more as well.

This game has a very interesting concept, a gripping story and nice visuals, but it controls HORRIBLY.
You move a rat, avoid lights, and go to the next room. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.
Love the concept. We have yet to finish the game, but its amazing. The graphics are smooth, and its just a fun game in general. Looking forward to more by this group of friends.
We really did like this game but it was easy because you could just go under the lights in alot of levels.
Took less than 10 seconds to figure out the plot….. And the controls were a bit slow at times but perhaps that is what made this such a delightful 2 part gem . Thank you for sharing it with us. Looking forward to seeing more creations from the developers.
Challenging puzzle game, reminiscent of Flowers for Algernon. We really enjoyed this, and Im excited for what the devs have next.
Love the basic concept and the storyline but we feel like there should be more like maybe when a moving camera starts to spot you and the screen starts to go white then you hide the moving camera should stay where it last saw you for 5-10 seconds then move on and thats just one suggestion out of many.
We were stuck on a level and we pressed exit, we looked at settings and the sound started to be really static and glitchy then the game crashed. We were on the office chapter if that helps. This game has been very awesome thank you.
The game is great so far. We downloaded the game not expecting to enjoy it much but was surprised to see how wrong we were. Not only does the game well and run smoothly, it also has a very interesting concept that we havent seen before. We see a lot of potential with this game especially if you were to add an infinite level that was continuously randomized. The only issue we have is the controls are a little buggy at times and could use some smoothing up. Other then that great game and Im looking forward to playing future updates.
This is as the title says, an honestly good game so far this year! The story base fits the game perfectly and gives the gameplay a boost! The graphics are amazing, and the levels are just fun to play. We especially love the character chuck he is just so helpful in a hard level, and helps us get through it better knowing that we have a friend. But, the one problem to all these good things is the glitch with the controls, sometimes Ill be playing like normal, and then our rat will get stuck on the smallest of things like a little plate on the floor, a wall, a chair, or even the actual floor sometimes. We hope that this glitch is an easy fix though, because like we stated before this is an honestly good game! Anyway, we hope this review is helpful towards the producers and the people looking into getting this game. Goodbye.

For us it was short but after Replaying and taking in the design done with game which really reminds us of game called inside with the tone it really amazes us, the game looks good and plays smoothly if whoever made this game were to make another you already we it will get a 5 stars from us. We really would recommend this to other because this is really good keep it up ( ).
In our opinion this is the best puzzle game Ive played. The game tests you in patient and reaction time to us this game is the best App Store game Ive played.
So we just got the game and honestly Im going to say that this game is already amazing. We love that youre a mouse and trying to escape a lab and it just feels like you/the mouse are escaping because the lab scientists are going to do tests on you/the mouse. So Im surprised that you guys made a game kinda like our style.
Simple concept with a lot of difficult/tough rooms that make the game a lot of fun. The controls are a little tough to work with and you do seem to get stuck to object in the rooms like other people have said. For that we would give it a 4 star review but we are impressed that this game had 0 ads. We actually played the whole thing instead of deleting it right away. For that we give it 5 stars.
We love this game. Its something to play when you want something simple, but a really cool, and some-what challenging game. Im going to recommend this game to our friends. This is now one of our of our favorite games to play! We really enjoy this game.

The game itself is amazing, something ive been looking for a long time. We love the overall feel and objective of the game. The colors are amazing and we really like the concept of hiding from the lights. However, the one reason that we took that star off was because of the roughness of the controls and how the mouse acts at the edge of a wall. We cant tell you the number of times Ive had to restart because the mouse was stuck at the edge of the wall and just refused to move. We really love this game though, we just hope you patch these issues in a future update.

We really like this game Its so creative and gives us a new perspective but the only problem we have is the length of it. It took us less than 2 hours to finish the game but it is truly a great game and we love it.
Amazing game! Ran through it the first day we downloaded it. We need more levels or a sequel! We would pay for a sequel so long as you stick with not having adds. FYI.
