Community Insight:
A sequel or similar game by the dev would be amazing, this game scratches the itch. Its not too lore heavy but gives you a story, mechanics are simple but strategic, so many random encounters that are different depending on whos in your party. Ive been pleasantly surprised by the replay-ability and secrets we come across even after beating the game.
Ive been a console/PC gamer for 40 years. We got our first gaming system in 1982, which was a ColecoVision. Im telling right now, its a dang shame, a crime that Unknown Knights isnt recognized for what it is, Its a Diamond among the majority of worthless trash games. Download it, Play, Enjoy, but then rate it & leave a review Unknown Knights so that other gamers can enjoy a quality mobile RPG that deserves way more attention & accolades than it has received. Devs you made an amazing A++ Mobile Game.
Amazing rogue like game that really tests your skill and decision making. The knights all look cool especially when enhanced. The art and gameplay is very dark not quite gritty but does have some elements that it could be and sometimes is. We personally love the fact you can obtain militia and infantry to help you on your quest and the stamina system. We can only hope the dev continues support and update for fear that we might not be able to play this game anymore. 10/10 great game guys.
Unique and entertaining gameplay. We wish there were more updates we had a blast 100%ing it.
Beautiful unique artwork, with the perfect musical tracks and sound effects. Unknown Knights is a Roguelike/Stategy story driven game, where the decisions you make greatly affect your game down the road. We purchased solely for the lovely graphics, and we are so glad we did. The battles are real- time and take strategy, timing, and skill to win. Even the in game weather can affect and change the way your knights play! Awesome game and totally worth the purchase.
Ive spent so many hours on this game. Beat it like 10 times. Personal fav is the extra gold off the bat..you can sell Mithral and a few potions and start the game w 5 heroes. The other fun one is the 4 relics…keep rerolling until you get a good cast, and if you get a mystery box and the horn, its gg.
Okay, so when we first saw this game through an add we expected some kind of cheap game, but the gameplay and story just drive us to keep playing. We failed so many times before having our first victory through the 10th chapter, but we still cant stop playing it. Its addictive to keep playing and to work to get different relics, skills, and other starts. Along with the ranking system! Anyways this game is great and we really recommend it! P.S. 15 potion start is our fave because we make a lot of mistakes.
We kept reading all these glowing reviews about this game. The art style seemed intriguing too us and Ive always been a huge fan of roguelikes. So we figured we could spare the few dollars. This game is fantastic, very unique from any other roguelike Ive played. The choices you make actually have an impact on your run, not just you as a character. But also the events and things that happen to you throughout the game. The combat is also very unique. Your units fight on their own but are still at your command in terms of what they do and who you put where. Leading to some interesting builds with your party members as some have abilities to use tranq arrows or fire shield. Or perhaps they arent a combat specialist and are miners that can get you more ore? Along with some talent trees and trinkets and you got yourself a game you can play many different ways. The art style is minimalistic when you are traveling about. But when you are in combat it changes to become a little more complex to help keep track of everything going on and it works extremely well. You also get permanent unlocks in the form of trinkets you can start the game with. Its all here, balanced, polished and loads of content. This game is worth more than the $2.99 asking price. These developers deserve your money for the content they have packed into this for that price. Hours and hours of entertainment, give it a chance if you are a fan of roguelikes or rpgs at all and Ill bet youll like it.
All in all we think the art style and gameplay are wonderfully simple yet captivating. However our ONE issue is that saving your game does nothing, as the game automatically saves your progress anyway, AND if you die, you must restart from chapter 1, rather than from the level on which you died. And saving the game doesn't help because you can't manually load a save game to go back after dying. We find it to be incredibly annoying. Was this the original intent? Is it supposed to be "let's see how far you can get" kind of game? If so that's fine, we guess. But it isn't made clear.
Unfortunately not balanced very well, and the leaderboard is full of cheaters as usual. The limited options during combat severely hamper your ability to deal damage before being overwhelmed by enemies with over 100x your squads health pool. Far too many unbalanced fights, but the enemy variety is welcome. Its an old game and it shows. Its worth the price because the price is low and theres no IAP.
Never go to the bottom of caves. Relics are not worth the brutal fights. This makes Jane useless.
This game requires you to agree to a privacy policy whereby you forfeit your data to the developer who has already taken your money, even if you have no intention of using online features. No option is given to keep your data safe and play exclusively offline. We dont care if this is for balance purposes. If it is mandatory even for offline play, we need to be informed of this before Ive paid. We would gladly pay four of five dollars to try this game, but Im not giving you our right to privacy while doing it.
Asks for personal information, required to play the game. Im not a big fan of this.
Support this developer! Excellent game. Strong Darkest Dungeon vibes with a ton of replay value. Love this game.
This game is amazing! All the decisions matter and effect the game. It fells really good and is fun as hell. 5/5.
This is a pretty cool indie game. The best way we can think to describe it is a bit of Darkest Dungeon mixed with a bit of FTL, with a splash of reflex based combat. Also, it's in portrait mode, which something of a personal preference for us when it comes to mobile gaming. ::edit after playing for a week or so:: This is a good one. We do wish there was an even easier than easy mode though, because we still cant clear the 10th tower on any setting.
We thought these reviews were sounding a little too promising as most games do, people writing good reviews to just simply promote the game to drive sales. We took the gamble and it paid off. As said in another review, replay value easily sells the game. If there are any minor add ones to the game that get created we would buy them in a heartbeat. Just a few bucks we would have spent on garbage snacks anyway. Great game man.
Ive never been one to write reviews but we feel inclined to do it for this game. To cut to the chase: its immersive, grippingly fun, and quality. Ive tried out a lot of apps and many of them feel cheap or as if they bit off more than they could chew. Not the case here. The different outcomes, high level of strategy and Easy-to-slip-into lore really make it an enjoyable experience. Definitely worth trying out. Our favorite parts: The soundtrack, really sets the mood The mechanics, easy to learn but not simplistic The characters and their perks/abilities Just a really solid RPG. Big fan. Ill be sinking hours into this one.
This game is awesome! So many mobile games try to do too much or demand so much attention or money. This game is wonderful! Great gameplay, plot, artwork and design. Simple and beautiful. Great replay and value. Rate with us! We need more like this.
If you want a rpg rts game for phone this is it, no micro transactions no ads or other nasty thing this game is definitely the best in the store 3 different difficult and a online ranking. 100% recommended and we dont go around each game giving 5 start si guys buy this game trust us this game is just the best and is office too.
We've got to say this is one of the best RPG games we've ever played. Great replay value, different build styles and challenging boss fights.
