Community Insight:
Its a vaporwave museum in our pocket. Great for when we have random moments of time to waste.
It seems abandoned and alone we feel like someone is watching us in the worst way we get anxiety we felt like running away l got to the end of the map just for everything to disappear besides the staring like if someone is looking at us and has gotten closer as the music fades away we sit in a lonely box with numbers on the bottom it gave us anxiety we reset it so many times to see what would happen fun game tho.
SO UH Ya thats it idk what to say.
We love this game so much! Other than the lag, there is a point. To enjoy the aesthetic and honestly we love it.
There are so many people saying there is no point well yeah thats why it was made, your just supposed to enjoy the aesthetic.
We see lots of reviews saying that there is no point to the game and that overall they didnt like it. And to that we say, yes it has no point but … We like that. Because you can just sit back and play without a care in the world that something might happen to you in the game because nothing happens. Also it plays rly cool music.
The game is really good. The controls are a bit precarious. We wish the jump button was on the right side. It would make it easier to operate. The game is also really fun to play when stoned we also love the vaporwave aesthetic. The music is one of our personal favorites it gives us vibes of LSD dream emulator. We always wanted to play it but sadly we cant, but this is just as good we just switch their portals to other locations.
Just a walking sim with some stuff to see, found the edge of the world and fell off. The skybox had a giant paragraph of Japanese text on the bottom side. We cant translate it, very interesting.
Its such a vibe to just walk around this world but its lacking in things to do. If you could update this game or release more like it with fighting or killing things, or secret rooms, secret dimensions, or anything really this game is so unique but its half baked we really want to see more.
We love this app! Its like a weirdcore kinda thing. We love it! But.what do you do.
We like this game. Its like a little place in our pocket that we can go to to meditate and breathe in the automated capitalism that is so called vaporwave. There is a minor problem, however, and that is that the controls are a bit wonky. Perhaps dragging the screen as a whole to turn around would be more convenient than using a joystick. We have many ideas to address, so we will list them for convenience: Recommended: – (As already mentioned) Use screen to look around instead of another joystick – Double-tap the joystick to sprint instead of separate button Optional: – Be able to save a point to spawn from – Spam-jump to fly around – Set run speed/jump height – More places/music choices By simply improving the controls, we will up our rating to a full 5 stars. Thank you for the vaporous vibes.
When we try to play we walk around for a bit and then it starts getting super glitchy it kicks us out of the game but although its super laggy its amazing.
Im guessing that its a tall order to ask for a larger map to explore let alone making infinite procedurally generated terrain. Heck Im pretty sure the developer doesnt even check these messages but you never know. We think this game is a wonderful idea, it just suffers from poor controls and very spots to explore.
Its the best game ever but too much lag for our phone thats why we downloaded it if of steam on our computer.
But, its way too laggy, and our device gets to hot when we play it. We really love it, couldve been less laggy.
We get that this game is supposed to be a meme, but it really disappointed us that there was so much to explore but basically no secrets. The only secrets we found was a small divet in the ground at the edge of the map to hide in, a weird possible glitch where if you roll the music ball thing out of spawn then some collisions with some objects just stop actually colliding with you, but lastly, the most disappointing bit, was THE BOX. As soon as you walk out of the spawn hall, you see a big statue, but if youre observant, you will notice that there is a small box on its knee, one that particularly wasnt there in earlier versions of the game, so we spent a good chunk of time trying to figure out how to get to the box, thinking that there would finally be a good secret to discover here, but no, we finally found a way to get to the box and its just another physics object that you can collide with to push it off the statues knee. Of course, we thought that maybe if we rolled that ball out of spawn to turn off some collisions then maybe we could see inside the box which could reveal something but we were too tired of trying, particularly because even after finding out how to get on the statues lap, it takes forever to actually execute the whole maneuver and its easy to mess up if you just get some timing wrong. Anyways, its okay for what it is, just a little meme thing, but yeah, still pretty disappointing.
So, we saw this game and was intrigued heavily. Im interested in this kind of aesthetic. We try to open and the thing immediately crashes once we join. Is there any way you guys can fix this? Xoxo, overall, would be really cool! <3.
We played it for two minutes and was able to fry an egg on the back of our phone. We have the iPhone 11 Pro Max… Thats weird. We deleted it, cant be good. But the game looks neat.
Hideous music, caching problems that cause lag, ads and ads and ads. The only thing 1980s about the app is the quality of graphics. The ads for modern 3D games strike a hard contrast. We turned off the bad music, but the lag was too much to bear. Tossed.
Bruh we were playing it cause ppl say its creepy or something we mean tbh the whole time we were just singing along.
We were excited to get the game downloaded, as it looked very interesting, and we opened the app. The start was lagging and just as the music starts to play and we see the start it closes. We wanted an exploration game just like this, we like that it doesnt have a point. It just doesnt allow us to play it.
Modern pop up ads in a walking simulation is the stupidest thing ever. Theres not even an option to turn of ads buying the game. Talk about poor business 101.
We wasnt expecting a simple Iphone game to change our life so much, but this game is mind expanding and very sexy.
Game of the year now we can throw out all our Lsd because this game is LSD.
This game is immersive it feels like youre a macintosh you would want to feel like a greek statue well this is the game babyyyyyy.
This game is the best thing that ever happened to us. Thank you.
So we were trying to play this game and we almost deleted all of the things that we could so we could have space but even now we cant play and we are cerious is there a reason why.
Got a great aesthetic, but weird controls and a bit laggy on older devices, but other then that we love it.
This game is basically what 80s hell is.
It's creepy with the slow motion music, but everything else is beautiful.
This game is an (immersive?) Minecraft type game… But without building and killing creatures. Soooo, pretty much just walking around…? Its really weird and out there, the beginning is kind of fun but goes down hill from there. Ive only played a gameplay amount of five minutes and its already the same thing. Music is the same, not bad, but the same. Its fun and would download to get on once in a while just to have fun and do something. Thanks for reading our review of Vaporwave Simulator.
Theres a fee problems. First is it lags like crazy, second why only Macintosh plus there should be way more music to choose from or different songs at random that are updated regularly, third theres only one place to explore which we explored the entirety of in like 5 minuets so we got bored quickly. Really all it is is Macintosh Plus, pink checkered environment with palm trees. For a Vaporwave simulator there could be so much more to this.
We wanted to play it but It lags and crashes we couldnt even look around we hope you fix this if you are trying to improve on it but we hope you do well.
We cant be in the world for time to even walk for a second before the game crashes and kicks us out of the app.
Looks cool, but we cant open it without it crashing 5 secs later.
IT KEEPS ON CRASHING ON ME MATE.
