The game is going really good so far and we have a way of keeping our villagers alive. First, go to options. Then you select pause. Finally you can put it on slow and play each day because your chief can create food every 24 hours. After you have saved up enough food, you do not have to worry about them starving.
To fix the statue u must put the person at the top of the hill. Then take ur tribal leader and put him on the statue head (bottom of the hill) and put all ur villagers where u put ur leader.
We have played through this game and the other Virtual Villagers games on our computer, but couldn’t resist getting this for our iPad. We get to feeling so maternal about our little people and the game play is super. The graphics are really good and the effects like rain, thunder and lighning are quite realistic. LAST DAY OF WORK folks are excellent game creators – they think of everything!! No freezing or any other glitches for us!
We have looked up the potions for multiple births & have tried them all & nothing our current population is 25/30.
We liked it but it is to hard to level up upgrades and it crashes we are so mad if you want a real fun game get vurtuale families.
We love the V.V. Games! We were doing pretty good, about halfway through all the puzzles, when it started crashing. We reboot and pick up where it reset us to, losing food and tech progress, and it let’s us play for a couple minutes then crashes again. About 4 times in the last 15 min. Please fix!
We have played VV 1,2 and now just finished 3. This has been the slowest version yet. It takes days and days to finish tasks and food is so scarce in the beginning that you will lose half of your villagers. Three stars because we love the series this version just wasn’t as fun.
Every time we send we kid to pick up one of the flowers the game crashes.
How do you reach that pink key at the top of the cliff? We put our people next to it and they just jump. It doesn’t work!!!! Help please!!!!!!
It crashes when we try to make potion or drop them on flowers!
We find this version very comparable to the PC game. The big problem we have with this one is when it is raining the lightening effect just flashes continuously and causes us really bad headaches. It feels like a strobe light. Please fix! It makes playing the game very difficult.
This game is really fun like all of the V.V games but in this one we cannot complete the statue. We get to the top of the hill and it just sits there. No one will continue working on it… And we have 6 builders. Tried them all and nothing. Please fix this issue. Would be a 5 star game easily.
We like the game but when we put. Villager to do something they do it once then stay there frozen doing nothing… We hope you come out with an update to fix this. Other than that the games great!
So angry! We never had this problem on the iPhone version and we’re EXTREMELY IRRITATED that we have paid for this game twice now and it crashes all the time. Items we’ve collected disappear, our food disappears, this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. This is a paid game. FIX THE CRASHES!
Do not get this version. It limits you to 9 villagers making it impossible to play. Would be fine if it allowed you to upgrade within the app but it does not. VV3 is there best game. Worth playing the full version…. NOT this one!
It’s at the top of the bath and now what? Ughhhh.
Having the same issue people were having in 2011. Random crashes, erasing all progress and food. It will run while iPad is shut off, but trying to have the villagers do anything, gather herbs, harvest food… And it crashes and removes all progress . This is not the free version. We do have an iPad 2.

Loved the game when it was working, but now it crashes every time we drop a villager an an herb to make a potion. Very frustrating, especially because we paid for this game. Will be 5 stars when fixed.
The game itself is ok, better than the first two since there’s more to do. However, the potions blowing up is SOO ANNOYING!!! We’ll have a potion blow up on us, then try to make a healing potion, and those will keep blowing up on us! The game would be so much better and more enjoyable if they made them stop constantly blowing up.
Just purchased this and it continues to crash and not save any information….. Awful.

We are pretty far in the game and have 2 stones: the ash & the one where u have 2 jump 2 get it. We need to get the pearl and dont know how. Can anyone help??? Plz! Also can u tell us the requirements. Thank u.
Our 10 yr old and we played the game on different devices and we both agree this; there’s got to be more food available. We spent hours and hours and days working the game just to have the villagers die cuz of lack of food (it simply doesn’t arrive fast enuf and waiting for the rain to come just to get a 4 point fruit from the lift is such a huge disappointment ugh) and we spent hours searching mushrooms that barely appear to try to keep the villagers alive Both of us very disappointed. Also u need your help section to explain what the villagers need to do (example; we finally moved the rubble to expose the cave, we explored the cave…… Now what? We even put every villager thru the cave thinking each one needed to explore to advance or something. Even put the chief in there and then had the chief lecture thinking we gained something. Confusing. We know there’s improvements always happening and the game has the potential to be very addicting……. Just don’t like the stress feeling of their being no food for the villagers. We will check out your updates and will play again when we see food improvements. Oh… And the villagers live near the ocean… Why can’t they fish (another food source).
This app is the fully best out of them all!!!!!!!!! Best app we EVER bought!!!! Totally worth the money!!! But please help us!!!!! We are stuck on the statue!!! All our huts are built and we have no master builders!!!!! Not even adept or trainee!!!!!! All we can do is fix the huts!!! ! More huts to build p. Ease include a clothing hut!!!!! But otherwise, it is an awesome app!!!!!

We have all there games! All work great and are very pretty, you can tell they take time in there games! The only bad thing is this lay out is pretty big takes a min or two to get used to if your coming from the second one!
So freakin Addictive!! Suggestion tho . . . . Can you pretty please make Virtual Villagers 4 & 5 on here too for iPad :) we LOVE this Game and would like to continue with the story. Also, include the first Virtual Villagers Game. We would like to play the very first game too.
Im a big fan of virtual villagers, and hope that last day of work will make more of these kind of games. As a 12 year old girl, we find this game a lot of fun, but if u don’t take care of your villagers then your tribe will probably all die. Also, food is an issue. Yes, u can fish but sharks are in the way so u can’t. We really don’t want our scientists to work and work until we get 50000 tech points (way to inpatient!) and get that new special herb. We like the fact that u can make different potions to do certain things to your villagers. One last thing is that all the upgrades cost so many tech points, and villagers walk to slow! Even in fast mode! Ino that upgrades were always that much, but we still don’t like that! We wish that teenagers and adults could walk as fast as kids! Or just a it slower then them… Overall, we think that this game is fun and worth a buy! Have fun with it!
It’s a really fun app but……………… It’s kinda hard to do the puzzles and it’s hard to get food but other than that it’s really fun!!!!!
We love this game but each time we play it something gets hung up. This last time the statue is dead and only halfway finished. It won’t let us complete it… No % is show ing when you tap on it and we can not progress in the game without completing the puzzle. Same issue with version 2… The women that have babies are stuck nursing (it’s been that way for weeks). Kids aren’t aging either but tech points keep accumulating… Goofy.

We LOVE it. We had a free trail on our pc and we found this on the iPad and we love it. It is the greatest game on Earth. We recommend this to every one. It is a must have.

Game crashes on iPad! How can you get food quicker? We’re changing our review!! How can you get more food? Before you can get more points the adults die from starvation leaving kids that can’t work! Then you have to start all over again only to go through the same thing! We dont know if this is a glitch considering it crashes on the iPad! One more thing we planted the tree and it disappeared! Fix the glitches!
