■Gameplay
Just like during a tabletop RPG, you're guided through the story by the game master as you journey through a world where all the field, town, and dungeon maps are depicted as cards.
The battles are turn-based, and gems—an item needed to unleash skills and granted each turn—are key to victory. You can also deal extra damage or inflict status ailments with a roll of the dice—an action that may determine your fate…

Long, long ago, the people lived in peace. But then the Dragon appeared, sowing terror throughout the land.
Valiantly, the kingdom fought, claiming narrow victory. Grievously wounded, the Dragon fled.
Thenceafter, the years passed, and people again knew peace. Until the Dragon returned.
Now the queen gathers adventurers to slay the Dragon…

Sad to see negative reviews due to technical issues. This is a great game. We have purchased all 3 and love them greatly. Quick and easy to pick up and play. The auto save helps when you have to abruptly close out. The story is really neat and we find the battle difficulty to be well balanced. Screen doesnt rotate, but it has to be played in landscape mode and does it really matter if the camera notch is to the left instead of right? No! It does not.
A game. For mobile. Thats fun. And finished. No additional purchases necessary.
This game is great, especially if you enjoy rpgs (the gameplay is simple and very satisfying)and obviously Yoko Taro. You tap on screen to proceed through the games towns, caves, forests, volcano, fields. You can buy armor, weapons, and items to help you throughout the game(need gold). Only one VA which we think is fine(hes great). Some fun unlockables such as different dice, playing tables, and player cursors. Its a fun time when you have some down time while on your phone (best platform for this game imo). Game is maybe 12-15h long wouldnt recommend finishing in one sitting e_e. Small multiplayer card game revolving around numbered suits.(its how you unlock custom boards, dice, etc.) which can be played online! That is all.
We never write reviews but this was well worth it. Two words. BUY IT.
We are so happy that they brought this amazing series to iOS. We are happy that we can finally play it on the go.
While we enjoyed most of this game, we fear that the lack of save game features using game center really keeps it from being truly great. We would love to hop between devices to play this. Saved games are stored locally so there is a chance of a recovery loss, which isnt great. Please add cloud saves and game center support.
Does not work on our iPhone 12. Just opens to a black screen.
Blank screen when launched on iPad Pro 2nd gen.
