A Glimpse into War in Europe
War in Europe is a fast turn-based land grabbing war game that is easy to learn but requires some planning and strategy to master. With the use of thousands of troops, planes, artillery, tanks, and warships you must defend your lands while conquering your enemy’s lands. Build up your fortifications while your artillery bombards your enemies, make alliances with other nations and control the sea areas with your navy. Victory will go to the one who can control enough land zones to fulfill the victory conditions. The game is ad free, and each game can be completed within one hour. Scenarios includes WW1, WW2, and a Free-For-All, the free version offers 12 small scenarios.

This game is really fun but recently we ran into a bug. In the custom ww2 game it always thinks Im play Britain even if Im not. So we could be playing France and make the hardest game against myself but it says theres a 5% bonus because it thinks Im Britain. Other than that though this game is really fun and without that bug its 5 out of 5 stars.
Its really good, but theres this one glitch where if you watch a video for credits afterwards it says crowns not credits. It does not affect gameplay but it is annoying.
In baroboosa 1941 theres a visual bug where it says theres only 7k troops but there is actually 1.5 mill on the German side. This screwed us over a couple times but other then that good game :D.
We really enjoy this game and have had it on and off for three years. Its a simple and fun strategy war game that allows us to relieve stress off our free time. One thing that really bugs us though is one of the bugs in WW2 challenge game. If you play as the British Empire you would receive x amount of convoys from the USA but from the years of us playing it, we have never gotten them. Either its hidden in on the territories or its a bug. Either way, If we could rate the game over 5 stars we would. Love this game and how open the developer(s) respond fast to reviews in comparison to other apps.
We have been playing this game for a few months now and its so fun, especially with a friend. Some bugs/ improvements could be when you create your own custom battles it seems only 2 countries can be on a team. You should also add troops being able travel though friendly land. Lastly their should be a max amount of people that can be recruited and better technology research should be available.
This game is very fun and has potential, but there are two things in particular that drive us crazy. 1. Allied troops cant move in an Allies land. We wish this was like your French-Indian war game in the way that you can move your troops through the land of an ally. We see no reason why that cant exist here. 2. Lets take Warsaw for example. In the WW1 scenario if Austria and Germany attacked Warsaw in the same season, whichever one took it first would get attacked by the other. If Germany took it then the Austrian army attacks them rather than automatically canceling the attack, and it is extremely annoying. If these are both fixed, we will up our rating to a 5 star because we do really like this game.
Overall we truly enjoy the game, however there a few things that really frustrate us. To star why is it that when our capital gets taken over by a country we lose the ability to purchase troops? Shouldnt our capital just move somewhere else? Why can we not move troops through countries Im in an alliance with? Lastly, why is it that we have to play cat and mouse with a country when we defeat them but they have troops go to an adjacent territory of ours that is lacking in defense? Those little things do bug us, other than that we do enjoy the game. We hope those little things get fixed.
Good graphics but horrible mechanics there is no common logic in this at all and the fact your Allies can take land from that the enemy had invade makes it all worse. Sad that we found out we wasted our time playing the game. Also inaccurate when tanks are available to you in 1918 in ww1 mode they were used in 1916 should have been there. Hate how you cant tell if the enemy is gonna invade you by sea to.

We’ve been playing this game for years now. We download this first ever time we get a new phone. Im excited for WW2 drop. Its going to be an Axis/Allies wet dream. Thank you developer!
This is a very fun game. Our only complaint is that the game dosnt let you leave alliances/ declare war on your allies. For example, in the WW2 start date, if we play as Germany and we want to do a world conquest we are unable to attack Italy, wholl sometimes leave the French in africa for ages. Can you make it so you can declare war on your allies? Thanks :)
So this game has a lot of good things going for it. It is fun to strategize and plan your attacks, but after every single turn there is an add. And it takes the ai forever to attack. So overall fun game when you actually get to play the game.
First off this game is great highly recommended it. We just did the bug update and it wont let us make alliances. We have tried it with different countries and still dosent work.

This is a really great game but we wish there was more content like more textures and additional features for territories like upgrades to increase their income.
Great but how do we buy troops?
This game is amazing!!!! But one small suggestion. We think there should be more wars like The Napoleonic Wars and The Cold War,Mongolian invasion of Europe, and Blitzkreig. This game is still amazing and it is way better than most battle strategy games.
This risk like single player board game is a must have for people who enjoy the genre or even history fans. The mechanics are very simple, but the strategy is fairly intricate with lots of decisions to be made on resource allocation and application. Furthermore, its the historical element that takes it from good to great; we have a history degree and it simply sums up many historical situations and questions. For instance, ever wonder why Hitler attacked the USSR? Blunder? Or did he have really no other choice? Play the operation Barbarossa scenario and the decision will make more sense. You will learn as well as enjoy. One of the best of this style we have seen.
Its a good game we like it but theres one flaw it doesnt have all the wars that happened in Europe we are not saying needs every war that happened in Europe we are just saying there are like 4 wars to play if you didnt pay for it so maybe you could add one more for those who didnt pay for it like the Cold War for example.
We enjoy playing this game, but we still cant form alliances even after we press the ok button. Also, we do have the latest update for this game.
Paid for the game to play some of the other game modes and none of them unlocked. Rip off.
Invading land does not mean you kill all the units in it, an enemy just took 5 territories because of it in 2 turns.
The sequence of the turn is all players make their combat moves without knowing what other players are doing. Then combat happens but its sequential, not concurrent so sometimes you end up attacking allies. Example: You are Britain and you attack the territory of Germany. France also attacks Germany. The French battle is first and they win. Then your battle occurs and your troops attack the French occupying force costing both Britain and France troops. Instead the battle should have been the combined French British force for a more decisive victory. At the very least when Britain attacks there should be no battle. Either the two forces should coexist or the British forces should turn back. Different example: If there are two territories controlled by opposing forces when each side chooses to send an attack across the border the forces dont clash in the middle, they pass each other and only attack whatever forces we left to defend. Dumb! Also apparently you cannot sail your warships into waters controlled by allies. So it is possible for your navy to be bottled up in a few sea zones because your ally controls the surrounding seas. EDIT IN REPLY TO DEVELOPER RESPONSE: Sorry but these flaws arent features that prevent the game from being complicated, they are fatal flaws. Allies should never unintentionally attack each other and allies should not box in each others navies. These are fatal flaws in your game.

We for some reason thin we saw the United Nations symbol on the free for is this a new thing coming to the game developer and Im just going to say it appeared randomly when we back out of free for all it was gone.

This is among our top 10 favorite games on the app store because of its unique play style and historical setting. We have beat all the challenges and war modes but we have a request to the developer. Its a great game especially knowing it was made by one person but if you could add in the feature to transport troops via your allies sea controlled areas it would just be the cherry on top of this amazing game.

Hello! We love your game, War in Europe like, a lot. We have a few suggestions! Please consider them, we have taken a while to write these down…. Also, we couldnt click on your email from the game, we had to manually type it in. IDEAS: 1) Make some kind of different game in the game where you can have multiple countries in one region if they are allies. Example: The UK would be able to send some extra reinforcement troops in Paris so that they can fight or defend Paris better. Because in WW2, they were fighting side by side, and werent just alone with just their own military. Then, if a country had completely surrounded an allied countrys troops, they could get out instead of not being able to do anything. 2) Make it so allied countries can give extra money to other allies, that way if say France was fighting Spain, and needed extra troops, Poland could like give some money to them to help. 3) Add bombs, but each bomb costs like $500, and it would do like a good amount of damage on another persons region. Except if a region is over say, 5 in defense, you cannot launch it there. So you are only able to drop the bombs on places with 2, 3, or 4. 4) Add a little more land westwards, so then maybe you could add the tip of Canada or the USA, that way when the US joins the war int Jose games, that is there bass, and not Ireland. (I always found that a bit weird….) Also, maybe add Iceland? We have been sad ever since we bought the game because there was no Iceland. (By the way, not to sway your chances of doing some of these, but we bought the premium version of the game! Well, the extra version that cost $4 or $5 we think. Also, maybe add a few more ship places, like a place closer to the US and Canada. (If you add that) And maybe one near Northern Norway? 5) It has always been on our mind that the only coup/rebellion happens in Russia. We think itd be cool if there were rebellions elsewhere… Examples: – (Spain) Catalonia & Bask… And or rebels from Africa? – (UK) Obviously Scotland. – (Germany) Nazism in other game modes. Thats it! We really hope you use at least one of our ideas! We really you, and this game, and am understand that you are busy as you have a job and everything… We wish we could support this game more, or give you thousands of dollars to make it better. First off, we love the game so much us and our friend play all the time trying to out conquer each other. We hope at one point you do add a multiplayer or 2 player version, we also want to see a pacific or Asia side. Maybe add countries or maps like the battle against Japan and china. We would also love to see smaller and more tiles added to the game. We dont like when Im playing France and theres only 3 tiles, we also dont really like how theres no smaller countries to play like Italy in the First World War and Romania in Barbarossa. Overall great game and we love it! Hope you add more stuff in the future.
We love this game. There are many ways to mix it up so it doesnt get stale, such as changing countries or different scenarios. It doesnt have ads and doesnt require you to buy upgrades etc. It is a classic game of strategy that has enough options to keep it interesting while still allowing a game to be played and completed in 1-2 hours, or shorter for some of the other scenarios.
Honestly great game but combat needs a rework also more states should be added so it truly feels like you are making a slow push into enemy territory. And so that when a enemy takes a state from you they dont just push into 2 more ans game over but overall great game.
We were playing as Germany and we were at war with Russia and France so we asked belijom to get 800000 troops through but they said no so we invaded them but those brits came in so they blocked our supplys from the Baltic Sea so we had some Germans from the east to take Denmark and Norway we had our Baltic fleet try to break the blockade and we had some time before they Can reorganize so we marched through Denmark and Norway and had enough troops to take Sweden. Now we were still holding agenst the Russians but Austria was being pushed by Italy and Russia so we had to addvace into Poland and the Russians moved there troops to face us in Poland meanwhile in France we almost took Paris but the French holded and we had a gap in the lines they pushed through it and most of our army in the west was now kaput. This was the turning point in the war and in the east it wasnt going good either they retook Poland and they took a lot from Austria and Italy took some land to the Russians put up a huge force and pushed into Prussia and Berlin was varanbal and that wasnt that good. Now in the west scanadia was taken by the brits and was pushing into the mainland of Germany and beljom was liberated and our army in the west was vary weak but in the east we were holding But soon amicia joined the war for some reason and we were pushed to Berlin and while Im writing this in our bunker they took Berlin.
Another country will say they are happy to join an alliance with us, we click yes and nothing happens. We tried waiting another turn, nothing. Playing different countries, same issue. When playing on hard were our Army and Navy are nerfed and it costs $200 to build more troops, this makes it extremely unlikely we will be able to compete and win.

We download a game you made called The French and Indian war and we loved it at we thought what other cool games has this dude made? So we tried this game and its just as good we hope you develop more games like this. Dont tire yourself.

We are obsessed with this game, there is a learning curve but once you understand how to play the game, it is a lot of fun. We were happy with the new update because it made the game so much better, more JUCIY. If you could make new maps or expand the current one that would be awesome, more scenarios, war games, you name it. Regardless, its an amazing game. Totally worth the money.
Heya, its us again. We were just curious. Have you considered making a Pacific War version of this game? We mean you have the European (and partly African) Front of WWII. But we feel a big aspect of it is left out without having the Pacific War to play along with it. Im curious because we think it will interesting having mostly naval battles rather than focusing on land (because WiE primarily has land combat and little focus on naval strategy), and having the island hopping campaigns from the Pacific will make you think more about picking your target rather than just charging straight in with an overwhelming force.

We really like this game a lot like the other newer game with trading and stuff alike we think this game has a lot of potential and maybe perhaps a remastered with a a lot of new stuff perhaps a diplomacy system and stuff like but over all a very good game and we were hooked by the start keep up the good work.
Yugoslavia would be a perfect nation for the game in the next update would be located in Belgrade and Budapest, and you could select it in custom games as the Kingdom of Yugoslavia or the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia Just a recommendation we had to make.
Pretty fun but a little not fun because its a good game but if risk was not a game you would not play the game.
This game is racist and promotes toxic masculinity. This game takes place in the most racist time in history. There are only THREE countries of color you can play as compared to EIGHT white countries. This game allows white men to play their fantasies without any scrutiny. Im honestly really offended that you have the option to play as the Nazis and tsarist russia. We will still rate this game three stars however for all the fun we had burning down berlin as the Soviet Union. Why not war in Wakanda next, or will the white people stop playing?
