Omg this is such a fun and amazing game its family friendly and we think you and your friends and family will enjoy it very much.
This was a very good game us and our fianc enjoyed it very much it was a little hard for us to understand it in the beginning probably because we were too high ha ha ha but overall a good game and we recommend it for all the family especially if youre going to smoke weed you can make it funny by putting in funny clues its a pretty cool game did we mention smoking weed.
We love the game when our mom showed us we fell in love . But when we showed our bff the game um it glitched and WHITH the second time when we played it WHITH our ant and cousin . And we reported but any it goodd.
Fun game for a group and the app works smoothly.
We love the physical game but it can be slow waiting for someone to think of clues. So we really love how much more quickly you can move through game play. Weve played it with a variety of ages(8-80) and paired up on devices. Fun to have something the whole family can enjoy.

We’ve never had this much fun on an app with our friends, this game gets brought up at every party and gathering we’ve been at since we downloaded it a few weeks ago. The well curated variety of topics means no one gets left out and you get to learn more about anyone from your BFF to a complete stranger. Rounds dont feel like they drag and often inspire light hearted debates which can be as mature (or immature) as you want haha. An incredibly versatile game, we’ve shared this with almost everyone we know and its been a hit. Things we Love: – gorgeous, cohesive, and clean design – love that games dont pause when anyone switches between apps – can play in the same room or virtually – minimal lag!!!! Things Id Like to See: – star difficulty rating, certain ranges like Original->Derivative may be more for adults rather than younger folk – clearer pack titles, love Lickable but the ranges had us a little confused – different sounds for each available reaction – stats on who gives the best clues, who gives the worst.
This is the first review we’ve ever written for an app but we found the game to be so fun and really great for a group of colleagues, which suggests itd be even better with a group of friends. Will definitely be recommending to friends going forward.
This game is really fun and we love playing it in person with our friends but its also fun to play when were not together but we have no way of communicating, which is difficult when we cant be on a phone call when playing. A chat feature while playing would be awesome.

Played this with our family over Zoom and we had a blast, then our wife and we started playing it just the two of us and played hours without getting bored. This is great idea for a game, the app is well designed, and we really appreciate that there are no ads (I wouldnt have downloaded it if there were). You can try for free, so Id recommend that anyone give it a chance. The only thing you buy is more scales to play the game with.
Tons of fun for groups of people. The design of this games interface is so pleasing we can hardly stand it. We bought the full pack and they are full of so many great prompts.
We love this game because it allows you to kill time while still interacting with friends and family. For the developers, we think itd be fun to have an alternate mode where instead of having one guess that everyone agrees to, we each make our own guess and the game averages them out. Sometimes we see people disengage because one person takes charge and is always the one moving the needle. Having an average lets everyone always have a vote, while still forcing us to convince others to our side.
Perfect to play with a friend or group, always keeps us entertained and talking!

You might have more raucous party games, but very few will engender the kinds of hilarious discussions and no-stakes arguments that make evenings memorable.
Lots of games dont include communication. However, this game is cooperative and includes communication. Love it!! Definitely recommend it for family and friend group games!

Wavelength is one of our favorite board games of all time. Its amazing how well they converted the physical game into a mobile app. Its amazing how this free game allows you and your friends to play in person or remotely. The user interface is very intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. There are no ads in the game, and it gets you right into the action. The game also provides a helpful game demo/tutorial to educate newcomers on how to play. The initial free pack isnt a lot of words to play with, however, you could buy a whole pack of words for 8 or individual packs for 4 or 5 dollars. We honestly think the quality of the game and hours of fun the game provides makes the cost worth it. Pro tip: this game is especially fun to play when youre waiting in line for a ride at your favorite theme park!
Our coworkers and we would play this every day at lunch before the pandemic, and it was a great way to get to know everyone! Often one of the best parts of our day. With us still virtual, we were really excited to see this as an app. They totally pulled it off. Its fun as a group, but also works with friends not there in person. One of our besties and we play almost every night and text between answer trying to beat out high score. We wish there was a message feature within the app so we wouldnt have to switch back and forth, but we assume this was meant to be played in person or with voice. We also really appreciate that the development team is actively iterating to improve the experience. Keep it up!

This game is super fun and easy to play with your friends! Im not gonna come out and say they cant do anything better but it is definitely one of the more fun games we own only a few thing they would add/get rid of the first being to get rid of all of the game modes needing to be purchased its not even like you can create your own game modes either another thing you could add is live online games this would make the game more fun and enjoyable even if you arent able to play with friends. You also should take into consideration that if you buy some of the packs you still are spending a lot of money overall we like the game and its good but there are definitely things that the developers could add.

So much fun- but you really have to play in person/with video for players not in the same physical space. Would LOVE to see an in app chat feature so you only had to have the app running to play!

So we were playing Wavelength with some of our friends and our family and we put a really good question that we thought no one would guess and it skipped our question and we were super excited for them to try and get it and it just skipped our question and so obviously we got really mad because we wanted them to see that question or stars we might not play it again because we are really mad about that.
Great app, but needs more free packs.
The game itself once started is decent. Unfortunately, the get updated! Well send infrequent notifications when we have new contnent! Ppompt happens often. One game we had to dismiss it seven times before we could start playing.
Us and our family have found this to be much more fun with just two players. We think it would be much better if with multiple players everyone got their own guess and scored their own points. To motivate the players to give good clues they could get points for correct guesses on their clues maybe an average of all the guesses or the highest scoring guess. Our family would certainly have more fun this way we think it would be a great addition as a secondary way of playing.
There are two big issues. 1. The idea gets boring quickly. In the spectrum of party games, something like skribbl. Io has very high replay value, but Wavelength is uninteresting after 2 to 3 times, even with new packs. 2. Recently, the app has had more reliability issues. It feels awful to get stuck, unable to rejoin (even after pressing JOIN after restart) after entering all clues, because one tends to be invested after spending effort coming up with good clues.
Its dumb that we have to get people from discord when one we dont know them just make it where you can join random people so dumb.
