Whoops!! – Board Game Review
![]()
Whoops!! is a Board game from Newt Group LLC, first launched in 11th October 2017.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 289+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Whoops!! Stand Out
This isn't your average board game! Whoops!! brings the fun of timeless "cross and circle" games to your tablet or phone.
Move around the board clockwise and try to get all four of your pieces into the ending area. Different cards influence your movement and enable you to perform special moves that can quickly turn the tides on your opponents. But be careful! Your opponents have access to the same set of moves.
Gameplay is rapid-paced, as cards that contain invalid moves will slide off-screen automatically. No time is wasted in-between turns. Progress bars and ranks in the four corners of the screen will keep you up to date on where you stand in comparison to the other players.
Your pieces have personality as well! Watch as they react to the events that occur around them whenever you make a move. Special cards can also activate cutscenes featuring your pieces going head-to-head with opponents!
This Board game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:
Ilike games a lot we want to getting agoodgamethatmatchescandy or king saving game.
This Is An Awesome Game It Reminds us Of The Game Sorry This Is By Far The Best Game we Would Have To Say This Is 100X Times Better Than Sorry Thank You For Making This Game Its An Awesome, Awesome Game This By Far The Best Game Ever we Would Highly Recommend This Game Its Loads And Loads Of Fun Thank You To This Awesome Game. Thank You To The Person, Or Persons That Came Up With This Game : A.K.L.
We would like to play the game with real people. We dont understand the easy, medium, hard or the human.
With staying on game having to restart every play love game.
We so enjoy this game, BUT! The game stops or freezes (which ever you call it) from time to time and takes forever to finish. BUT its still fun.
Ive been looking for a long time for a game like this to come along. The only reason we gave it 4 stars was that we thought the pace of the game was slow. Otherwise its a fun game.
Good game just wish you could play ppl on line.
This game is good. We have been looking for a while to see if the App Store had the game Sorry. We could not find. We have tried other apps that claim to be similar to Sorry. They are not. This game is the closet to the real game sorry.
Its got a great ui and is fun for our 3year old. It sometimes crashes on the iPad but you can pick up right where you left off.
Other than the fact that when you leave start with a 2, you should move two spaces and the whoops card should make you move forward 4 marking it the only way to move forward 4. We dought that will happen as the game has not been updated in almost 3 years, wish there was online also that would be sick.
Its a great game. We enjoy playing it with our dad. Even when the CPUs are easy, theyre still hard to beat. This is better than the real board game.
When you draw a 7 and you have two pieces in your start and two pieces in the safety zone by your home, but arent able to move seven spaces, it lets you move one of the pieces in the safety zone part of the seven spaces, which isnt right. When the AI, no matter what difficulty you have them on, gets an 11 and chooses to switch spots, always moves a piece from near their home when they have a apiece thats closer to their start which would benefit more from switching spots. When the AI, no matter what difficulty you have them on, gets a 10, always moves a piece near their home which cant go ten back one even though they have a piece thats closer to their start that can go ten. Sometimes the game freezes, but at least you have the choice to start where you left off. For the first time when one of the green pieces was on the entrance to yellows start, yellow got a 1 and moved one of their pieces out of start and instead of the green piece being sent back to start (like it was supposed to) it shared the same space as the yellow piece and got to move when it was greens turn.Ill give the game a five star rating once those things are fixed.
This is pretty much sorry board game( love it). Four stars for making this game. Five stars whenever you polish up the graphics and sound.
Players at the beginning of every game should only move one of their pawns clockwise from their starting positions. They are only allowed to do this if they have a 1 or 2 card. Whoops allow each player to start the game with any card except sorry. Whoops should follow all of the classic rules of Sorry.
Wonderful game of Sorry but it has a few bugs. It often closes down on its own and you have to restart or continue the game. That is the annoying part. Otherwise, if you can get past that, you will love this version of Sorry.
Rules are like Sorry which is great but it gets frustrating while you wait for the others to take their turn and while it counts each space.
We are playing the game and it keeps kicking us out of the app even when we close out of the app and reopen it needs fixed.
We love this game! Reminds us of our childhood (except that was called sorry lol). However, game is constantly crashing sometimes it will crash 3-4 times in a row. Also, it freezes all the time.
Nuked it after it simply crashed twice within the first minute of play. Look at the status of the program in Apple. It hasnt seen a bug fix or performance update in over three years. That was about the time iOS 13.x was out. It might have been running fine under iOS 13 but this is 3 major releases of iOS later. Programs at least need to be updated to reflect issues that come with NEW iOS releases. Since the program hasnt been updated or bug fixed in just over 3 years that means that the author no longer maintains it. Thats one of the very first things that we look at before even downloading a program. Something over 4 years old might not be compatible with the current iOS version.
Wouldnt recommend ludo if 10 times better.
How the heck are people rating this a 5 star game? Right off the bat there is no sound. Buggy – twice in 5 minutes of play we landed on the begging of the slide, yet no slide? Supposed to be a slide and knock off the opponent at the end. Its Sad when the 1 thing that sets this board game apart from others is buggy and doesnt play right. NEXT.
Really fun game! Definitely worth a try.
We love playing Sorry and this is the best we have found. Very addictive.
If you like boardgames, this one is for you! User-friendly and entertaining! So much fun! Thank you.
We enjoy playing this game! It is challenging while playing against the computer, and super fun to play with friends.
Our only complaint is no sound during game play. We like that its auto play until you actually have a decision to make. We always loved the game Sorry and its fun to be able to play the computer.
