Word Wow is a word game where you make words to dig deeper into the ground. As you dig down, Worm will follow until you can guide him to the bottom before time runs out. You need to be able to make words quickly to string together bonuses, as well as just to clear the path.
If you find Worm to be stuck and you can't come up with any words, you can use a bomb to clear some of the tiles. You have a limited number of bombs, but you can earn more as you make more words. As Worm moves down the board, more letters become available.
Some levels have a hidden gem behind one of the tiles, and if you can find all the gems in all the levels of a world, a bonus level is opened where you can really rack up the points!
The bigger the words that you can make the more points you'll earn. Try and make enough points each level to earn all three stars.
Word Wow will sharpen your brain as well as your reflexes. Help a worm out!

We finally decided to go ahead and login with Google in order to save games. However, if it crashes, we close it, or we even pause it to change a setting, it always makes us start the current game over. If you dont want to expect it to save games, you might as well not sign in use any platforms; it does the same thing anyhow.
We were looking for a clever word game without ads and for a download costing only $4.99 Word Wow is totally worth it. Fun, challenging and addictive. We used to play scrabble but the ads got worse and longer and scrabble want $7.99 PER MONTH to remove the ads – definitely not worth it.
Longest favorite of ours ever we play this more then any other game on a consistent basis Love it.
That darn Worm! These games are so much fun. Download and see for yourself! You will play it all the time. Try to get all three diamonds per game.
Ive been using this game for a long time. Suddenly, over the past two days, it refuses to open once its past midnight. Super weird. Ive rebooted our wifi and our phone, and it still only works during the day and in the evening. We know how ridiculous this sounds, and we would think so too if this wasnt happening on multiple occasions when everything about our internet and other apps all work fine. Disappointing.
We thought this game looked like the old bookworm game. And it is to some extent. What we really dont like is that we cant just play ourselves. Every score is our best score even though it isnt. We have no interest in other peoples scores or in competing against them. Seeing just our one score sort of ruins the fun. Am we improving? We have no idea. Making the words and helping the cute worm is engaging we dont see it being a long term game.
The original Bookworm was our all time favorite and we reviewed and contacted the developer in vain we thought! Im uncertain if this new version is by the same developer but this version is awesome and we cant give enough thumbs up and praise! Thank you, thank you.
The game needs more challenges and the bombs on the bottom right needs to be moved elsewhere. Every time we try to drag the bomb up, the iPhone wants to swipe the game up as if Im going to close the game or switch to another app.
Im really not sure what to think. We deleted this paid app from our devices when we started a game and noticed the name of our town and state prominently displayed, in proper order, on the tiles. Until then, we found the game addictive. It did seem to use up the battery pretty quickly.
Word game lovers, this is THE game for you! You can play for a few minutes or a few hours. It's fun and challenging to play anywhere at any time. The backgrounds for each level are adorable and the worm depends on your success to free him. :) They replied very fast to a quick email question we had. Donkeysoft has several other versions of Word Wow as well as many more fun games. We're very pleased that we found their games.
This fun game is very addictive. We enjoy all kinds of word games, and this one ranks right up there at the top.

It's kinda good (and a bit sad) to know that we're not the only one getting frustrated w the untimely crashes this game has. Granted, it is a fun, challenging game, but just when you think you're going to have a great word or high score, it shuts down – not cool! As others have said, fix the problem, and you'll get a higher rating.
We agree, we would have given more stars except the game continues to crash after several plays. We enjoy the challenge of the different levels and trying to beat the timer. Please fix the crashing of the game, so we can give it more stars.
We really like the game. However, we scored it lower because the game keeps kicking us out every few (3-4) levels. It is extremely irritating because the game will just go off in the middle of a game and you have to start over. Other than that, it is fun. Hopefully the bug can be fixed.
And oooooh man, this game crashes a lot. If the developers would kindly step up to the plate, maybe they'd have a worthwhile game. Until then, this is the review we're gonna leave.

We finished the game in a week. There are only five worlds. We found all the gems but no bonus level appeared. Love the game until we finished it. Let's get some more levels.
Really fun and intense word game. We just love it.
This game will worm its way into your gaming heart! Fun and challenging w/o being frustrating. People have complained abt. Only being able to play 10 levels for free but this gives you enough of an idea if you should purchase it. A suggestion we have is to buy the bundle for $1 more. You get three games (Word Wow, Worditz, and Orbing, which is a puzzle game) for $3.99. We would act quickly as they may not continue to offer this special very long. Try the free versions of the other two games if you'd like but for $1 more, we don't think you have anything to lose. We love word games so if we bought just the two word games separately, it would still be $5.98. Enjoy.
Finally a game we can get into. The right balance of speed, thought and stress. Kept us finding words for hours.
