Word Wow is a word game where you make words to dig deeper into the ground. As you dig down, the worm will follow until you can guide him to the bottom before time runs out. You need to be able to make words quickly (although a no-timer mode is available) to string together bonuses, as well as just to clear the path.
If you find the worm to be stuck and you can't come up with any words, you can use a bomb to clear some of the tiles. You have a limited number of bombs, but you can earn more as you make more words. As the worm moves down the board, more letters become available.
Each level has at least 1 hidden gem, and if you can find all the gems in all the levels of a world, a bonus level is opened where you can really rack up the points!
The bigger the words that you can make the more points you'll earn. Try and make enough points each level to earn all three stars.
Word Wow will sharpen your brain as well as your reflexes. Help a worm out!

This is the best word game ever! You can play non stop and new levels keep opening up. Its like a never ending story. We like the fact that we can pick up where we left off or go back to a previous game. If you finish a game & didnt earn all three stars or the gem, you can replay it. Ive not had any glitches or issues & Ive been playing for nearly a year. If we ever finish this one, Im going to try some of the others. Thanks for a really fun game.
We like the game but we have 2 problems with Word Wow. Im playing on an Ipad and if Im playing a game and have to walk away for a minute, the game pauses and we cant find a way to resume. Also, quite often, There will be a Q that we have to use, but there are no Us.
The ads in this game are absolutely ridiculous and sometimes the sound goes out randomly but the game itself is extremely fun.
Love it! Makes you think quickly and use spelling skills.
This is a very fun game we really like.
We are so addicted to Word Wow that we literally cant wait for the time when we can finally play each day! We used to be just as obsessed with Bookworm. Sad its not available anymore. But you CANNOT go wrong playing Word Wow.
We love that there are so many levels now and you can sort of pick your own level in the settings from easy to hard and also you can choose to have a timer or not its a very fun game.
We like the fact that you can eliminate ads with one purchase of $4.99. We just want to play the game without having to watch something every time we play level. Of course, you do have to watch an ad if you want extra free bombs – other than the three that they give you each day when you sign in. If we get stuck, we will. However, we like to make it a challenge to get to the next level with as little help (bombs/letter switching) as possible. You can purchase these items too. We prefer to wait until the next day, if we get that stumped. We like the graphics: It is fun to watch the little worm make it to the bottom. ;) It has to be a good way to relax that also stimulates the brain. Another plus is you can turn the timer off or on and choose the difficulty level. We recommend it to anyone who likes word puzzles/games.
We bought this app. So we didnt have adds. Still have adds and you cant access the game for a long period while they try and sell you game apps.
It is a good way to keep your mind sharp.

We love this game. We used to play Bookworm years ago and think this is the same or similar.
We REALLY LIKE THIS GAME A LOT MORE FUNCTIONS ABOUT HIS GAME.
You give way way way too much time we wish that you would make it so we could lower the amount of time if need be thank you. Its not challenging.
The only irritating thing about this game is trying to close it out when you are done playing for the day. We have to swipe it multi times or shut our phone off them back on.

We play this game every day, its our absolute favorite. We purchased the no-ads version early on, back when we first started playing. We do not use the timed version. However, theres a glitch where, if we take a break during a game for any reason, even for just a few minutes, the app frequently starts us from scratch even though we paused it properly. VERY frustrating, especially when Ive made lots of 10+ letter words and have used several bombs and letter switches, only to lose our score. The bombs and switches are GONE as well. We dont want to be chained to our iPad while playing, we do have a life that requires attention as well. PLEASE FIX THIS GLITCH.
This is just a great game. For sitting in the quad smoking, for sitting in the loo. Smoking a joint.

We love word games, but we havent seen any explanation of the point of the game or why different segments have different titles and how they differ. Very odd game. It has potential, but is pointless in its current form. Why not make it like the fabulous old Bookworm.
The ads for games where women are being hit, abused and disrespected are not appreciated. Please do better. We don't mind ads for other games as long as they don't have negative content.
Very fun app and relaxing too. Love the little bookworm. Had a slight problem (now fixed with the latest update) and they were right on it! Love that! Looking forward to trying their other games now.
Played for many years and enjoyed. We do not enjoy having a suggested word to find. Limiting and often dont feel Im even offered the required letters to find the required word. Makes game much less enjoyable for us.
The ads were annoying, then they took over the game. At one point the game stopped loading and we couldnt play anymore.

This game absolutely fits every need. When Im feeling crispy and sharp, we can put together some astounding words. When Im feeling foggy, the words are shorter and repetitive, but we still beat the timer. We like to play the constant levels with the timer, but the daily games seem to have no timer and sometimes we take time to do some great word research. You can play from an erudite perspective, or strategically, focusing on vertical creation for the most direct path. And then there are the times that the random letters suggest an amazing word only to find Im minus one essential letter, and we have to begin the word creation anew! It doesnt get repetitive, boring, impossible or worse – annoyingly easy AND repetitive! Ive only been playing a couple of weeks so we keep sending emails with questions and learning evermore about the game. We just read a comment from someone who replays the levels over repeatedly to beat their personal best. Great idea! Essentially, the game will never get old. We love it – thank you.

Great game but after the 3rd or 4th level it locks up on us.
We play this game each day to see how we rate with others. Surprisingly, our 74 yr old brain does well. Lots of fungreat spelling and vocabulary challenge. We want more Word Wow.
We have played this game for years. Our assessment is based on playing for a long time. We have two complaints. 1. Why should we give you or anyone our personal information to save the game? You get paid enough by having us watch commercials. 2. Your shufflers no longer work the way they used to work. The only way to communicate with you about this issue is to write a review. We hope you return the shuffles to the way they worked yesterday. They made you a lot of money the old way.

This is a fun word game but we resent we have to pay $5. To get rid of adds that come on after every game.
We definitely would rate it higher if: there WASNT an add after every level. You didnt have to PAY to remove the adds. The word they want you to find is ACTUALLY there( we have done the same level multiple times BEFORE the word actually appears). Other then this its fun.
The game is so much fun. But an ad between every single board. We played till level 4 and deleted it. Its a shame too because it would of been lots of fun! Thanks anyway.
We enjoyed this game a lot. We even purchased it in our android to remove the ads. We switched to an iPhone recently and tried to restore the game. However it wont allow us to do so and is demanding we repurchase the game. Thanks but no.

We were looking for a word game that was somewhat challenging and fun. We love this game because it is not the usual. We love having to do this with the timer. Great fun, somewhat addictive.
We just downloaded this game today. We love word games. This one is so enjoyable. We are hooked. We are still learning the little ins and outs of the game. Every chance we get, we sit down to play. It makes us think, but so far has not been impossible. We turned off the timed version. We kind of go blank when we are hurrying. Love it.
We began with this original game called Bookworm and we didnt think the changes and the new version would match up. We really like this this game. Its one of the only consistent games with so very few changes so it doesnt disturb what you already know about it. Its fun, we like the worm, we have to put some thought into it depending on level, or timer, etc. It is a relaxing game to play, too. We have 4 versions of it and we dont get tired of playing it. AND-you arent swamped with ads and interruptions. Its a keeper.
In the middle of playing the game all of a sudden it doesnt allow you to push tiles-freezes all the time.
Love this game but having issues with the game syncing between devices. We tried to contact support but the Contact us button does nothing when we click on it. Maybe someone will see this review and contact us.
We love this game, we only wish we could play it in landscape mode. It would be much easier on our iPad.
