We show in settings that we dont want to play with strangers but yall still do it. Please stop and clear them please.
We loved the original app, our phone updated to WWF 2 and now we get all these annoying extra game suggestions with computer generated opponents. How can we stop these unwanted games appearing?
There was something very satisfying psychologically about collecting the various power ups. Im not sure why you did away with that feature, but we think it took away a bit of the fun. Still enjoy the game though.
We love it, but there are too many repetitive ads. And, the no ad version is expensive.
It is annoying to keep getting ads for Royal Match, the game of words is great, but we may let it go if the Royal Match ads continue.
Great game but Some ads like Frontier will not let you go back to the game. This has happened for at least a year. Needs to be fixed. We hate ads but we wait for them but some you can wait 5 minutes and they wont let you out of them. We hate having to restart the game to close an ad.
You are exposing us to dangers! We only play with our friends we do not connect on Facebook. We do not want any of our information out to anyone and you are abusing the game to make us exposed. You better not be putting our information out there or we will see that every agency goes after you.
Im not sure if you have the capability or not, but add set-ups (assists) to the three Lightening stats would not only be fun to see, but it would encourage others to set one another up during play.
We love the game, but its almost discouraging to play due to the adds after EVERY SINGLE MOVE!
We’ve had this happen on and off; more on the past week. You can play videos to get more coins and game plays. Sometimes those videos to give you game plays dont work, and it takes away your number of videos to play per day, which then takes away your ability to obtain more coins or game plays. Very frustrating.
Frustrating glitch. Program opens to extra large picture of the board. But it is frozen. Must close the game and reopen to play. Chat is WAY too small and frustrating too. Still, Im addicted to it:)
When Words first came out, it was a fun game – and it was an entertaining way to spend some time. Now, its no longer the entertaining game that it was – and Im seeing some cheating that did not exist a year or more ago. Its too bad – the concept is still good, but Im not at all sure that it will still be around in another couple of years. Too bad – we can all use the little breaks that the game offered.
Be prepared to have to use online word helpers. Forget for games with other players – youll always encounter people who use helpers. The problems with the game are the challenges – WAY TOO MANY are labeled as easy or very easy and you have to play multiple times to win or three star for optimum rewards. Literally the easier levels are designed so you cant win or three star even using cheats, swaps, etc.. We understand sometimes but it happens way too much for the labels. They take away game features – Lighting Round without notice but leave for some users in a new location. We lost it and its not in the location that other users say they still had it. Contacted Zuniga and they said developers are working on it. Again, part of the issue is the rewards structure. They left rewards for playing lightning rounds but its not available for many users now. It takes longer to advance and gain rewards without Lightning Rounds our adjusting rewards for players without the feature. The Daily Bonus to earns key streaks is poorly designed. You can make moves across many active games, claim rewards and spend a lot of time playing but not earn the daily streak bonus. You have to use a power up or do something else to keep the streak going. The issue is again rewards and time played. You can play multiple times across multiple games in a day and say if youre traveling or whatever and you dont have a chance to stay on and pay attention you lose the bonus even being in the app and playing for a significant time. This is from a user that paid for no ads – can be a fun game but very frustrating, unfair rewards structure and bad solo challenge design and labeling.
This is so annoying – after EVERY play there is an ad!
It would be a good game but there is an ad EVERY TIME you play a letter. EVERY TIME! The ads are not short! We have been playing this game for years. The abundance of ads after every single letter play is a new thing and very irritating!
Why are you limiting our purchase of power ups to one at a time, and only while in the game? We should be able to purchase as many power ups, as we want! Part of the fun of this game for us is collecting power ups! Please change it back!

Update: waiting, waiting, waiting.. Down another star. Update: we have reached 1500 coins now. We cant earn any beyond that. We cant buy any power ups. WHY?!!!! Going down a star. AGAIN?!!!! Why is this happening again?! Please let us use our coins to buy power ups. For what are we supposed to use our coins? Also, we cannot get any coins higher than 1500, so there is no point in playing the extra games. Please fix this issue. We want to use our coins.

An ad after every single time you play. The game is fine, but they really want ur money. They dont care about your experience.

Once again the game freezes after playing one word.01/17/2023same story different dayso freaking frustrating.01/14/2023 Once again we can only play one word before the game freezesa black screen appears and is freezing our gamei have restarted our iPad 50 times in the past 5 daysI have lost all the joy we had in playing this game… They have changed the game with the newest update, now you cant use your coins to buy power ups… Talking to friends who play they are frustrated as wellwhen we ask support all they can say is they are constantly making changes… Not a good change… Still having issues with the game freezing… We asked why they changed the game, ridiculous response… And our game is still freezing after playing one.
Trapped in a lightning round game for weeks that wont start and wont let us quit. Not worth the horrible experience even when free.
We’ve come to the point that, because of ALL THE ADS AFTER EVERY PLAY, the game is no longer enjoyable. Only reason to continue playing is its being done with a friend. – Stop with all the darn ads after EVERY play!!!! The game itself is fine. Inundated with ads after every play is not! – How does someone contact the developer? We were scrolling up to select a board to play on and it applied 9 of something which we did NOT want as we dont play with those boost things. We do NOT want to pay for anything that we didnt choose. The length of many of the ads eat up our iPad battery and eats up play time since she has to work. Now there are ads that when we X out the screen goes to another 5-10sec ad of the ad you try to X out of in the 1st place. Plus, its an ad after every play. Developers must be awfully well off from the sale of ads. A very irritating addition is a bar at the bottom pops up and asks about stickers. We DO NOT WANT this bar. To get rid of it you have to tap the bar and BAM it sends your word which many times we DO NOT want to play because we see a better place to play. – This game is getting to the point we will delete it. Even when you hit the X to exit, it swings to view the ad anyway. 15/30 second ads eat up battery time and prevents play. The object of a game is supposed to be fun; not frustrating. OMG-yet another darn change and in the wrong direction. The bar at the bottom of the board no longer shows how many letters are left. Instead they inserted a swap icon. Its sad how this game is being destroyed. This is the worst game for ads, ads, ads, flashing ads, flashing ads, flashing ads, 30 second ads, 30 second ads, 30 second ads. Now there are flashing ads at top of game board so we finally blocked out those ads at top of game board with black tape. Developers have allowed so many ads that thats all this game is. We had this on a kindle and was fun. Kindle was getting old so switched to iPad. This is so messy and cluttered with garbage. The kindle version was a normal game of scrabble with fairly short ads sprinkled in. Now with this version, 30 second ads are the norm after just about every play and uses precious battery life. Rewards, daily games, and hints takes away from a REAL game of scrabble especially hints. The game also goes black and have to power off iPad (also happened in kindle). In settings if you turn off all the options, that doesnt work either. A game is supposed to be fun; not make you angry. Maybe the developers should take pointers from the developers of Monument Valley games free game or paid game=no ads (at least the ones we have) All in all-Too messy. Too cluttered. Too……..

Now the Gardenscapes ads, the picture is up,the X in the right corner comes up , we tap and tap and nothing happens. The only way to stop getting frustrated is to stop playing words with Friends and every other game that advertises Royal Magic and now Gardenscapes. Words with Friends we tapped on Goals and a game with aTara showed up that we played with her. We never play with anybody except family. How did this happen. Is somebody else playing on our games.?
Love this gave! However, the chat area should not be white on blue. We play this game with our sister in California (I am in INDIANA ). We are both in our 80s. It is a way we can keep in touch daily.

Love words with friends, but the solo challenge is a rip offnot like we had on our former iPad. They dont accept most words which are obvious and have boxes with letters and numbers that our former iPad words didnt have. Its a rip off and lets the imaginary opponent win most of the time. No challenge at allIm about ready to quit playing it!! Most of the words the imaginary opponent uses, we’ve never heard of and we have a good vocabularysome sound like another language!! Can this be fixed to the fun, challenging old game we used to play???
Some of the words are not from every day speech. The foreign words should not be used!
Would like to see a few improvements: 1) If you cant put a definition in the dictionary, it shouldnt be a word. She us dubious inclusions. 2) End of game score, including opponent unused tile points, should be used in computing statistics. Those points are currently not included. Enjoyable game though.
We dont like getting used to using coins to buy tokens such as swaps and then you changing the rules of the game!
We started off playing friends we knew, and eventually we opened up to people who challenged us to a game. Fun, fun, fun! The only down side are the repetitive commercials. Which we’ve finally come to accept. So, we PLAY ON!
Been playing since 2011, would be lost without this game in our life! Our favorite way to unwind from the day. We do miss when you could actually win (a lot of) coins for various plays. Bring that back please!!
Great game, but too much extra junk. And ads even though we paid for the ad free version many years ago.
