Probably, one of the best RPGs to ever be created.
As we understand it there was a bunch of awsome content deleted so the game could make the release date. We played a bunch of the restored content and mods when some of the original developers and fans worked on and released it many years ago…. It was in our opinion amazing ! The broken wierd spots in the game worked and made for a much better story. The sub level droid base in the restoration zone … Finding all your "friends" on malachor …. Soo much more ! We would love love love to see the game released as it was originally intended…. The possibilitys are endless. Update downloads , kotor 3, 4, 5, …… Just dont turn it into the modern format…. Live , online , collect sell data market sell data , buy this pay xtra for that, glitch patch buy glitch patch buy. . . Circle jurk everything has turned into.
Hands-down, the best game ever super excited to play again now on the iPad version BUT a very annoying issue after every other fight main character seems to stop moving and this bug seems to be a very common bug amongst iPad and PC users but at least PC has a fix unlike iPad users. Its frustratingly annoying to try to play like this, even with inputting a control controller via Bluetooth. We wish there was a patch to fix this because we want nothing more than to replay the nostalgia of this game without that annoying issue.
Love this game, our favorite Star Wars game ever. Replayed it probably 50 times maybe more honestly, more than any other game Ive ever played. We really hope Saber interactive doesnt drop the ball on the remake like aspyr did! Been waiting on a new game/remake for over a decade!!! Seems like a no brainer story to keep running with but the originals was so good devs know if they butcher it, their company might go under lol HURRY UP TIRED OF THE SUSPENSE.
The first time we play a Star Wars game and its great fr. This and mass effect are highly underrated.
Ive played this game on and off since we were a kid. It is one of the best Star Wars games ever created. Although the graphics and layout is old, its well worth the money. We cant talk enough about how good the story is. Your actions have a real impact and characters will believably like or dislike your choices. Its a long game and can be clunky at times, but very very worth it.

Can you make this compatible with the backbone mobile controller.
Im not one to write review let alone give star ratings, but WOW. This game is insane in terms of story, characters, builds, lore etc. It literally has everything youd in an RPG set in the Star Wars verse. Only gripe Id give is the DnD style combat. Its hard to get use to/learn but once you do its incredible to play with. We have around 25 ish hours and have completed the game fully. If youre looking for an old school RPG that was ahead of its time this is the one to choose.
There isnt enough love for this game. This game has been a part of our life for a long time, and every time we play it we find something new.
We played all the way through the story was one of the best and it was really thrilling to play. Easy to get used to the controls, good graphics for its time, and all around great game. It deserves to be more popular.

This game has been in our life for a long time, its great to know we can revisit it whenever from the palm of our hand. Of course some of the controls are janky but its not optimized for the phone and its an older game anyway and had the same jank when it came out. Lots of fun, great story, when you beat this theres even a book about the main character you can read after the events here.
The game runs well and brings back all that nostalgia from playing this game for the first time, but with a little more polish, it has its quirks when you try to use it from your phone without a control controller, but once you connect a controller to it experience gets much better.
Truly one of if not the best star wars rpgs out there.
The game is great and worth every penny. Our only complaint is that there is no graphical options, so users are currently stuck with sub-native rendering resolution. This was initially released for IOS over 10 years ago, so modern phones should be able to run at native resolution without any issue.
All the people calling it a glitchy game- what the #### do you expect from a game from 2001. We personally havent had any glitches on our old iPhone 7 and our new iPhone 15 pro max. This game runs smoothly and only has a few glitches and buggy soft-locking moments.
This game is a well know classic for good reason. If you love Star Wars,RPGs, or both then youre in for a real treat. The game is lengthy and has a good amount of replay value. Both KOTOR 1 and two are fantastic examples of an rpg but the first one can be a bit glitchy. Aside from that, the variables in the story line make the hours worth while. That and the variables in how youre able to build your stats and skills allow you to develop a character that is truly unique. This game was ahead of its time and we never get tired of playing it.
We beaten this game and the second one to if you a StarWars fan then this is a must have for it deep story and awesome characters.
We get it, when this game was made LGBTQ+ people were not something that could be in a popular video game, but its been 21 years and those people deserve to see themselves in the characters of the games they love. Would it kill you to add the step of choosing pronouns for the protagonist to character creation, or to remove the line of code that specifies that Carth only flirts with you when your character is female/you can only flirt with Bastilla if your character is male? Other than that its a boss game.
We redownloaded the game and the beginning font wont load we cant press play Im on an iPhone 11 Pro the beginning bastilla screen shows bootom left or top right cant even play.
We have played and replayed this game numerous times over the years. We were nervous about playing it on our phone because we thought the controls would be difficult. However, it was in some ways easier than the controls on the computer. There were sometimes minor infrequent glitches in the game, but nothing that really mattered or affected the game in any way. Our only wish is that we could forget the story of this game so we could play it for the first time again.
This is truly one of, if not the best, Star Wars story out there, game or otherwise. While the graphics are a bit dated, keep in mind that this is a 21 year old game, and the amazing story and characters make up for this one hundred times over. The sheer scope of the game is astounding, with many different worlds to explore, countless side quests, and an amazing overarching story. The party members who join you are some of the best written characters in Star Wars, as is your own character, but no spoilers from us! From the start to finish, you feel as if youre creating your own story in the Star Wars universe. We would strongly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the franchise. The first couple parts of the game are challenging, especially for first time players, but stick with it, as this is the coolest game ever created, Star Wars or otherwise. Many of the other reviews complain of bugs and other issues, but we never experienced any problems with the game. Well worth the ten dollars, we would pay one hundred for this masterpiece.

Its one of those games that you can play over and over.
Im not even kidding one of our favorite RPGs ever. And has one of the coolest character designs in the entire universe of Star Wars. We have no idea how many times Ive played through this game, and every time we still have the same amount of fun.
We got this for Christmas (Im 13) and we were shocked about how good it was, we say its better than some games today.

This is the best game Ive ever played super fun after you get past swoop race.
Let us start by saying Im a huge gamer. We love the Elder Scrolls series and loved Oblivion. We have not always been a Star Wars fan and only just recently got into the franchise. We tried this game after reading about it and fell in love. It plays very similar to RPGs like Oblivion. Ive been addicted and Im about halfway through the story now. Our only complaints are sometimes the combat can get a little wonky, especially with using a touch screen.
Make sure you get Griffs mission started before heading to the sand people.
Bring everything for both games.
Manaan had a bug where juhani Jolee and we were at the same level as the star forge and the survivor never was eaten by the fassa also there are no fassa to attack us witch is good and all but the people in the force field just tell us we destroyed the kolto and that we have to find the republic to rescue them but whenever we take the submersible to the republic embassy no one comes out the door we dont know what the heck happened.
We followed KOTOR since it was in beta and became obsessed with the original xbox version. It is probably the best video Role-Playing game of all time. Why? Not because of the graphics or even the gameplay but because of the music, the story and the characters. Its worth playing for Jolee and HK-47 alone, two of the best Star Wars characters period. We were very excited to find out about the mobile version to say the least. The controls are tricky on mobile and you will probably have to adjust the touch sensitivity, but If you like Star Wars, do yourself a favor and buy this game.
We have loved this since it originally came out on Xbox. The fact that it is available to play on a phone is great. Though seems like it lacks a bunch of things one then is being able to let sunru have help no matter what happens he always gets life currently despite you finding datapad showing the unlawful actions of the with on Manaan. Also it would be more fun if more of side quests wer easier to trigger nearly all characters being up on except for jolee and juhanni. Still a great game though.
This game is so good! 10/10 recommend! But Im at the final battle with Darth Malak and he is frozena lot of other people have said that this same thing has happened to them. Can you please fix this! We will want to continue to play this and it not be frozen! Thanks.
Ive played this game since it first came out when we were probably too young to be. That was nearly 20 years ago and in that time Ive seen lots of games come and go, graphics and mechanics improve, on and on games went. But you know whats always called us back since we were a kid? Knights of the Old Republic. Every single time. Now some of this is surely nostalgia, but Im also not going back to play the original Battlefront regularly so it cant all be chalked up to nostalgia. Knights of the Old Republic, or KOTOR, tells a tale unlike any Ive ever seen. It hits you with highs and twists and turns beyond what youd ever expect from a Star Wars project. Know nothing of Star Wars? Good, because this is so protracted from the rest of the franchise it might as well not be called Star Wars. Love Star Wars? Good, youll learn to appreciate the setting in a whole new light. The story is gripping as it is mature. This isnt Ewoks being teddy bears, this game deals with serious topics with grounded, believable characters that will have you invested in their outcomes. We cannot stress this enough, this is the game you will come back to time and time again. Avoid the spoilers and enjoy the ride. Also, its now on your phone. How neat is that.

Bought it for our Mac when it first came out, we enjoyed it so much that we bought an Xbox just to play it. We now have it for our iPad and on our lap top to revisit old memories.
KOTOR we and II provide a story like no other. Whether you are a seasoned Star Wars fan or simply someone who enjoys an epic tale, these games are an awesome experience. Taking place far before the events of the movies, this is a tale of revenge, redemption, love, and friendship. Immersive and expansive, each planet provides hundreds of quests and experiences that reward you for exploring with curiosity. We highly recommended playing this game, as it can be played again and again and provide years of unique experiences each time. There are multiple endings as well, letting you chose a light OR dark side ending.

We have owned this game on tablet since its release, but recently have discovered a game breaking glitch that occurs after the cut scene escaping the Leviathan. Please fix this! Also why has no one addressed the texture glitch on double bladed lightsabers after all these years? Thanks.
KOTOR and its (single) continuations (should be more) should have been a fundamental goal that continued throughout the decades. It is one of the best games of all time. The ability to create, decide, and develop your PC is superb for a game created at the time. The availability of this on mobile is incredible, we have already beaten KOTOR 1-2 twice. If KOTOR 3 is ever developed, or KOTOR 1-2 remakes are released we will be purchasing.
We have missed this series so much. Im overjoyed to be playing it again.
Hey developers, great game but the droids at the Vulker base can't be selected to do stuff. Played this games many times so we know they activate with repair parts. Can you fix this.
Plain and simple Kotor is one of the greatest games ever made, even still today. This game is in our opinion the best Star Wars game they ever made, but man would we love to have the second one on mobile as well. This game is for anyone who truly loves a fantastic rpg, and of course Star Wars. So if you havent played this game yet then please go finish a Jedi. Then a Sith play through of one of the most stellar games to ever grace humanity.
