Community Insight:

We couldnt describe the words that we had when we played the game, but unfortunately, we didnt beat it, so heres some quality of life updates, 1: settings Moving walls (enable/disable] Joke songs (by your famous silvagunner) (enable/disable) Transition for moving walls (enable moving walls to enable this feature) 2: the big stuff Two new levels (a blue pentagon at the beginning that slowly turns into a hexagon at the end while the song spectra plays along at the end alongside the hexagon color scheme fading in the end we all know and love, and a fast rainbow level if you beat the game with a unique song, Pause button Level editor Volume button A skip button that matches the current color theme (for the tutorial, for the ending of hexagonest, and for the ending of hyper hexagonest).

Super Hexagon is one of the most authentic and challenging games in all of the 2010 nostalgia games. Not only is it really fast, but the music is just perfect. Terry and Chipzel did a really great job together to make this master piece. Even though its 2025, we still play this game.

Hexagonest and Hyper Hexagonest is HARD! It's patterns always catch us off guard. One day we WILL master it.

The title explains it all we bought this game in January 2025 and its awesome! Definitely recommended game to play (who cut the amazing?).

We love it except our six-year-old beat the entire game. Now we dont wanna play anymore.

Amazing game. Very addictive. This game and DUO are really simple, but for some reason you feel compelled to try again.

Very simple, yet very addicting. This game makes 60 seconds feel like forever, but make hours feel like nothing.

This has been a staple in our relationship with our partner for the past 4 years. We always wondered, why is he always playing that darn game??, whats so special about it?!?. Well. Let us tell you. He finally Introduced this game to us tonight and we have to say, we cannot put it down. This game makes us use our brain in ways we have never used before. The feeling we get when we beat our last score is like learning Im going to Disney world for the first time over and over again. But when we fail all we want to do is try and beat it. This has to have some sort of weird psychology behind it. In the past 30 minutes of playing, we went from 2 seconds up to 20 seconds. We feel our brain moving. WHAT IS THIS MAGIC OF A GAME. Thank you kind app developer. You have brought meaning into our life in 2024.

After months of playing this game on and off, ive finally beat it. IT FELT AMAZING.

This a great game to kill time on epic mechanics and an epic concept.

This is legitimately one of the best games Ive ever played. We have logged tens of thousands of hours across various platforms, and while Super Hexagon is not our absolute favorite or even our go-to these days, we still maintain this is the absolute peak of the 5 minutes early for work zen game. Nothing even compares. Its situational, yes, but it truly excels when it counts.

Ive been playing this rage and reaction time trainer for years, and its still easily the best way to kill a few minutes while waiting for your bus stop on the App Store. Bar. None. We love this game, and hope it will get a sequel or remaster eventually to take full advantage of newer hardware.

Had this game for years. Still the best phone game Ive ever had. So agitating, yet addictive. Perfect for killing time.

Tbh we are not a big gamer. We used to be, back in the day, but family and work takes our time now. Super Hexagon is legitimately the only game we play anymore because its fun, simple, and games rarely last longer than 90 seconds (usually considerably less). Perfect. Also has terrifically addictive mechanics and a simple premise.

We wanted a game that was actually challenging and not just mindless clicking and this is definitely challenging.

The controls make you go too right or left and you fail.

Had this game since 2012 and its nice to see that its gotten support for new devices ever since. We really recommend this game if you like to be challenged, and if you want to work on your reflexes and ability to concentrate. One minor complaint is that depending on your sound output, the second stage can have some distorted bass at a certain point.

Simple to pick up and learn, but our god is this game hard. Its really hard to keep your bearings on this sensory feast of a game, with the music blasting and the lights flashing and all. Just keep at it, youll get there soon enough.

We really like this game but we think it would be cool if you made its so we can play third Version of each levels.

We own this on everything we can have it on great game for burning time while doing something else.

This game is objectively perfect. Im not saying this is the best, or even our favorite game, but for what this game needs to do, it excels masterfully in every way it needs to, and is therefore perfect. 1. No ads, you get right back in. This app isn't freemium like the other 99% of games are, so once you die, all you have to do is tap the screen. This is also what makes the game not frusturating in the slightest. 2. ACTUALLY FUN, AND ADDICTIVE GAMEPLAY. Thats a breakthrough isnt it? Good gameplay on a mobile game? We wish we wasn't being sarcastic. :( This the perfect game. Its 150% worth the money, buy it now.

Amazing game with infinite replay ability. The only flaw is that sometimes the high score does not get updated in the menu.

We love games you can play into infinity and believe us its challenging and absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the $3.

This game is completely fun and addictive in our opinion. We play this game everyday. Its really fun to play, even though we already beat the game, we still enjoy playing it.

This is one of the few modern app stores games that isnt filled with micro transactions or junk. Just pure skill and a unique concept.

We Beat Each Level!!! In 1 Session!!! The 1st Time we Beat A Level Was Hexagoner. But Can You Nerf The Hyper Mode Levels.

Srssly, this may be the best arcade game of all time. It's the pure distilled essence of the arcade, presented in wild modern glory.

Ive never felt such hatred towards the number 59 in our life.

The game is fun as hell and probably one of the only mobile games that we do not regret buying however the music isnt for us and we know that the music itself is a key element in the game but we would like to have chill session sometimes and be able to listen to our own music. And being able to link with steam would be nice.

Super hexagon is one of the most challenging game ive ever played it requires ur quick brain in order to think how to dodge that wall for us the more u play it the more u get improved when we were grade 4 we almost finished it like 52 secs.

This game is the definition of challenging! The controls are simple and very responsive! The music if probably one of if not the best part of this. The gameplay is excruciatingly difficult (what do you expect?) Overall an amazing classic iOS game!! Good job Terry.

Most of the low star ratings say that the games controls are bad, the game over voice is annoying, or its too hard. We really like the controls, but it gets a while to get used to. A part of the challenge is always knowing where the pointer is, and inverting your brain to adapt when the pointer switches sides. The ladies voice also isnt annoying, and shouldnt hold you back from getting the game. We feel like we dont even hear the voice of the game over scene, because we restart the game so quickly and get absorbed once again. And for those who think the game is too hard, thats kind of the point. The game seems really fast, confusing, and unintuitive, but the point is to adapt to it. There really are no other games like this one. If you dont like repetition and practice, the you probably wont enjoy the game. Even then, we thought we didnt like that either but we beat every difficulty on this. Dont want to be the guy who says get good, but thats the only fun youll have with this game.

Thank you for such a wonderful game. We bought this game 5 years ago and finally beat it today! We have never been into a game for so long. The final clip and the feels after finally beating this game are extremely satisfying! Thanks again for always shining our days :).

Thank you for fixing the screen size problem!! You guys are the best.

Good game but why no lvl creator.

Currently, we cannot see a way to exit a level while playing it to play another level. If this isn't added, it really should be.

Ninety-nine percent of iOS games are abysmal, but there're a few that shine through. We've traditionally held exactly three in that regard: Threes!, VVVVVV, and Super Hexagon, and also secondarily osu!stream. What makes this so great? Well, as long as you can put up with the difficulty for the first week or so, it's a wonderful game to pass the time and to forever want to improve at: no ads, no IAPs, no nothing, just the six levels and your high scores on them. Why's it so hard? Because the game's creator designs things to feel good to him, and he has claimed that he "has the attention span of a four-year-old" who doesn't like waiting for things to happen. (VVVVVV has no cutscenes longer than c. 30 seconds if you mash through the text.) Why did we dock a star then? So as to not look too flattering on this as to get ignored; it's totally not because it's possible to be so good at the game as to get banned off the leaderboards. (our 815:07 has video proof.).

The game is truly great very minimal, and extremely simple to learn. It is a true challenge to get good at. We love the soundtrack to the game we really do, it fits the style beautifully but our game produces no sound at all. Ive tried re-downloading the game a couple of time but still nothing, without the glorious soundtrack and sound FX the game feels very (VERY) hollow and exceptionally unsatisfying to play. For that reason we cannot give it 5 stars Im truly hard pressed to give it 4, the only reason we do is because we know how good it can be. Our experience though has been less than stellar.

So as to not look too flattering on this as to get ignored; it's totally not because of a glitch related to high scores with which we have an easy time putting up when we only beat one high score every few days now. TL;DR we, meta04 (a purple icon in the top 15 of all six leaderboards, 4th place on Hexagon), think this couldn't be much better than it is.

Fun concept and great music but the controls to us are annoying, Ill get used to it.

Always loved the game, just need the sound back.

Im so upset we love this game and yet the great music is not there.

This is a cool game and all but it be great if we could listen to music while playing. If yall could change that it be awesome.

For once, not a rip-off. We are struggling on hexagoner because of the fast move to this that this that rotation, its HARD. But to be honest we dont know why hyper hexagonest is easy… Anyways this game, Is Hexagon out of Hexagon. *Yes we HAD to make a pun.

And Hardestestester. Mastered the toughest level long agon and wishing we still had a challenge or two. Game is remarkable, just needs some harder levels. New players need not worry by this review. It'll take you a whole lot of time and effort to master every level as it is now.

We absolutely love this game. The controls are great, its very challenging, and beating your high score is ridiculously satisfying. However, we got 46 seconds, and it says our best time is 22. We keep beating our high score, but it never saves, which frustrates us. Please fix this and we would change to 5 stars.

Super fun, but our times are always saved incorrectly. For example, Ill hit 30 seconds, but when we restart the game itll say 16 seconds.

Oh rly? We think Smash Hit is better than this crud, the music hurts our ears.

Constant frame drops/stutters and bad input lag make this games last level unfairly difficult. For some reason it gets worse the longer we play it. It isnt overheating. Also, game only occasionally records your high scores between game launches. Ive beat the game and have all achievements but only a 13 second record on Hyper hexagonest.

So we didnt mean to buy this since we already have it on our other phone but now we cant refund and we bought this like 3 minutes ago. Please help, we were trying to buy ultimate custom night.
