I felt the same way about MSF. Plated for 4 1/2 years, and one day I just said to myself ‘im not having fun anymore’ no QOL. So I quit and have so much time now. Best decision I made

The thing people don’t realize is how much work goes into streaming and youtubing. If you are not having fun doing it. It will come off in the videos. You will not be motivated. Thanks MobileGamer for being honest with the community.

Its actually crazy how far f2p you can get in star rail. The quality is amazing, and it just shows how far mobile games could actually go. This level of quality with a DC/Marvel game would be mind blowing and its so disappointing that it hasn’t happened.

auronguy: I can definitely see what you mean. I started the game a little over a week late, but because I’ve been playing MSF for a few years I knew what I was doing in terms of resource management etc, and now I have probably the best roster in my "guild"….. Yet the bottlenecks are so horribly bad that JUST focusing on 5 light and 5 shadow only still gives no room for extra resources, and I’m realizing going for 5 elves (Arwen event was super boring btw) is going to amplify my problems 10 fold….. All for a game with basically no content where the only interaction with your "guild" is occasionally using somebody’s character in the guild campaign.
Jacob the Jawa: You inspired me to delete that absolute trash too. I’ve got other important things in my life I need to put energy into. THAT game is NOT one of them. Kudos.
Blueph: The cost of the game is insane. A brand new game should be offering some excellent deals to draw people in. They’re somehow more greedy than Scopley. I had no intentions of spending on this game, but this is laughable.
Andre Phillipe: I think I mentioned about 1 or 2 years ago on your channel on Twitch, that I stopped playing SWGoH and MSF and started to look to the releases in Asia, especially China and man…
They are light years ahead of the Western releases.
I’m glad I made this change, no regrets!
Chumchou: I’ve been enjoying honkai star rail waaaaaaaaaaay more than MSF. You’re so right that the quality of FTP games are only going up and it feels like MSF is behind
Karot: I just did the same thing today. Uninstalled both on LDPlayer and on my phone. You inspired me. I’m just not having fun with it. The graphics, the bottlenecks, it all just has a "been there, done that" feel and I’m just not interested in sticking around to find out if it improves. Makes me a little sad, as LotR is by far my favorite fandom, but I scratch my hero collector itch enough with MSF (warts and all).
andresirodriguez: I’m enjoying it without pressure right now. I understand that it’s new and I’ll decide once raids and war come out on if it’s overall worth it for me. But right now it’s too early to quit. Right now I’m liking that I can just pop on do my objectives and spend my energy, here and there throughout the day.
Conrad2609: I quit both galaxy of heroes and marvel strike force weeks after launch and I came back to both of them wishing I hadn’t quit because I would have been so much further in the game so I’m sticking with it for now I’m hopes that it gets more fleshed out. Love your content man, keep up the good work!
Imran Hossain: I started to play this game as a secondary option to MSF, so if someday I’m exhausted by Scopely’s continuous grind, I can shift to something else. But my god, after playing for just one week, I already exhausted by LOTR.
Positron Player: I completely hear you, MG. I quit MSF when Apoc came out, as I realised… it wasn’t fun. I was logging in to do my dailies as quick as I could. I haven’t even tried HoME, as I’m happy playing GoH (fun for me at my level), and Snap (same reason). Life is finite, and I got other things to play!
Synersil: I’m sad that you don’t like the game, you’re one of my favorite content creators and always enjoy your vids. I do get your reasoning though. I’m trying to tough it out to see if they ease up on the bottlenecks. They are quite ridiculous that early in the game. The limitations to actually progress in the campaigns because when you hit level 40, you can’t even keep up with 2 teams at your account level is ridiculous. That’s 10 characters out of 45?? It’s a little intense.
Allan Rothberg: I joined HoME a few days after the initial kick. Yeah, the bottlenecks appear FAST, and you max out what you can accomplish each day pretty quickly because of that. Okay, like most of the games in this engine, that’s expected, I suppose. But lord yes, this is a very mature engine, the graphics and game play are no different than they were 10 years ago. This is nothing more than a reskinned version of any of the predecessors. I am doing my dailies now, but there’s little motivation to spend any undue amount of time on this game.
Ryecrash617: I’m not really enjoying Heroes of Middle Earth but I love Hero Collector games and I love LOTR so I’m still playing it with the hopes that it will get better. However, unlike SWGOH and Marvel Strikeforce, I don’t always complete all of my daily missions.
Michael Morton: Been watching you since GoH. I feel this completely. D4 for me. I maybe done with MSF as well. Never started LoTR because i saw the issues you jjust talked about.
elin00b: What killed it for me was not being able to log into Apple after the release. I played during soft launch and support basically said get screwed it’s not possible to link your Game Center with your account
Adam Brown: Dang homie. I absolutely hung up MSF for good a while back and I’m glad I did, and I just picked this game up. You’re definitely right, it’s not that fun unfortunately. I hope you find a new game to play that I can get into and follow you again!
