I Suspect Haradhrim Will Be A Dark Version Of Phoenix

"Hey Boilon. Definitely enjoying the content. With so little to do it’s nice watch someone else play. Ben is correct on the 2 ways CG introduces characters. There will also probably be a raid exclusive character for the max level of each raid type. After about a month the marquee & chase characters will move to a node & be farmable. If they follow the SWGoH model Legendary events like Elrond will only return after 3 months or so. This way players who spent to unlock the legendary have a window of exclusivity. It is funny the way CG seems to be porting some of the kits over from SWGoH. Elves preform a lot like the early Jedi (Lots of Boons and team healing/resurrects). I suspect Haradhrim will be a dark version of Phoenix Squad (Very good early meta, used to unlock a Legendary, but falling off fairly quickly).", Inquisitor Ben Romach says.

  • If CG follows SWGoH, then new characters will either be released as marquees or through “chases”. Chases are a limited time event where shards of the new character are earned by spending a specific energy type. So your ability to unlock the character is dependent on how many gem refreshes you’re willing to do on a daily basis

  • Herendil is definitely under-appreciated! I think he could be good against Haradhrim (great catch!) but he also could be a good tech for the mirror match as well since he can punch through the Nimble, particularly on Elladan! Also, it’s worth noting that even if people aren’t getting Elves or Haradhrim, Herendil can slot in with the Rohan trio because he benefits from Eomer’s exceptionally squishy summon giving him extra TM and Stamina to feed his first special as well.

  • So my guess is –
No new characters will be Instantly farmable, they’ll cash in on EVERY new character.
Not all new characters will be Marquees, some may have a unique event which is stamina based for example.

These comments might offer the help you need to breeze through each level.

Alexandre Lanes: Thanks for the interesting videos, I specifically enjoy the spreadsheets (my geeky side I suppose), keep it up!

On a side note: I was happy to run into your roster today, and I was surprised that I was able to beat it with quite some margin while I am not spending a single $ on this game, have lower level, and I have a team which seems to be pretty far from any meta, which is not talked about, and yet which seems to bring decent success in the arena: an Isengard trio + AOE characters:

  1. Strider (does not make sense NOT to use him as a F2P imo considering we get free shards every day, he has AOE and burn is pretty decent)
  2. Ironhide (everything has been said about that one already, amazing AOEs, excellent survivability)
  3. Ugluk (leader for my Isengard based roster, his 2 stack of provoke at Brutal Thrust lvl 6 helps for survivability of the others)
  4. Mauhur (Ugluk´s best partner in crime, hits hard and not too squishy)
  5. Azhak (hits like a truck, nice Vs taunt. A bit of a glass canon unfortunately, maybe not the best in Arena but the way he destroys his enemies is just soo satisfying!)

I wish I found more analyses on Isengard. And that Lurtz would come into the game!

foamslinger: that nimble-slayer makes him a better anti-elf than the Haradrim imo

Scumdog of the WWE Universe: Also, on the topic of Marquee releases/New Characters…

In SWGOH, the most recent marquee event I remember are the Tusken Chieftain and Tusken Warrior Marquee Events… The 3 other Tuskens could be farmed on various nodes, and you had to pay for the 2 marquee characters’ shards after unlocking them.

It’s been about six months since the marquee event, and they just added the Tusken Chieftain & Tusken Warrior to a campaign node & a cantina node respectively. So about a six month wait for f2p.

Scumdog of the WWE Universe: My Wubete is already 5*, I just need to save the 150k gold to promote him 💪

WhiskeyTango: I’m an idiot and thought he was Rohan when the game came out. I put some levels and gear on him, and he’s definitely decent.

Billy Nikakis: So what, he would be included in elves to counter the counter to elves and lose synergy against any other non elf-counter team? Nah

ZekeJ43ger: really appreciate!

BGtwo: Can’t believe I’m saying this but right now I’d love a blitz style game mode with rewards.

Tony Rosario: Lomions drop rates are trash, been worse since the buildup to the Elrond Event….

D1m1ch: Instant rewind to the beginning after “ let’s boil this down”. Also the video is too long. Not enough informative. That’s why you have small views.
