Alot Of Players That Came To HoMe Probably Played Msf

"Alot has to do with this games genre Fatique. Alot of players that came to HoMe probably played msf or swgoh, and starting a new game like this will feel kinda underwhelming. Ofcourse the game will grow with new content overtime, But its 2023 and me personally was hoping for more to do at launch.", Macdellic says.

  • Nobody minds a game launching without 5 fully fleshed out game modes but we expect at least 1? Honestly what reason is there to build characters?

  • Honestly arena is to blame for a lot of dissatisfaction with the game, it’s effectively the only game mode right now and most of day 1 players (so people most interested in the game) got stuck in shard 1 with whales and beta players who have weeks of advance access – no way to catch up. Looking at Elrond it takes some 10k gems to get Arwen to 5* and ready for his release, with an arena pay out of 12 gems it’s not exactly enticing to stick around.

  • As player from Beta then from soft launched, they released this game way to early. It was not ready!

Thought-Provoking Player Comments

The Elder Lord: Nobody minds a game launching without 5 fully fleshed out game modes but we expect at least 1? Honestly what reason is there to build characters?

Ocean: Honestly arena is to blame for a lot of dissatisfaction with the game, it’s effectively the only game mode right now and most of day 1 players (so people most interested in the game) got stuck in shard 1 with whales and beta players who have weeks of advance access – no way to catch up. FranckyI: As player from Beta then from soft launched, they released this game way to early. It was not ready!

Hidden Element: No Man’s sky and the other games they chose are very bad examples, this game is a completely different type of game. The problems with this game are the multitude of bottlenecks and current economy. Those bottlenecks don’t allow for theorycrafting without being a whale, you are essentially already being forced into building a couple of specific teams for raids and legendary. Add to that with the creative choice of graphics that many would consider outdated and maybe not the best style to choose to appeal to the masses and you find yourself with a game that is going to have a tough time getting off the ground.

David Remington: The game is barely a game. The CG response is pretty arrogant. They may be successful, they may not. There are a lot more games that fail than those that succeed. I assure you that when they decided to launch "explain why people already quitting isn’t actually a problem" was not a month 1 milestone on the product roadmap.

The NFT Redzone: There is some opportunity for HoME but I am preferring the slow role right now. I have also been watching swgoh YouTubers since launch and can say they quit because their distain for capital games more then current state of the game imo

Godlives91: What up Tauna,

It kinda feels sour, that they responded like this. Forreal, they made a game with bare minimum efforts, and quickly turn it into a cash grab.
Im surprised that this game was in beta for so long, and they launched it with it’s economy already in wreck. Slow beginning’s are understandable, but even so
with the way gold is in this game and scared to see what it’s like lvl 50 and beyond.

last thing those game that they mention are horrible examples. even with their bad beginning at least those games were made to be self seffienct,
They weren’t made so you had to spend money to play.

Have a good one.

Krentz Plays: I still can’t believe they launched HoME with the same arena setup that SWGOH launched with, which caused so many problems that SWGOH ended up taking crystals out of it and moving them to other modes. Why launch with a mode you already know is problematic?

BGtwo: Why don’t you do some gameplay vids on how to get through some of the challenges and counters to certain arena teams?

zakore11: The silent war between mobilegamer and Tauna

Murda77: Unfortunately this game has the same problem as MSF. Gold and exp/training mats. Players are leaving MSF because of this (and multiple other issues), and that game is years old. They don’t want to come to a game and a month in they have the exact same problem. As a new game they should have distanced themselves from that. It’s called market research for a reason….

Diego Santos: I love that we quit msf together lol much love tauna , thks for the videos

Blake Howard: I think the game’s great. I’m having fun with my Isengard squad and planning to work on Rangers once Elladan gets released. I don’t even really have complaints that it’s lacking content at the moment, and I’ve been playing (and completed all of my objectives every day) since launch day!

Julio Cyster: Its a brand new game and its all about content release timelines….it will only get better…im willing to stick around

Matt Fone: While it might be bad for content creators, I would much rather the game stay with the current level of content for the time being. For me, mobile games are supposed to be quick things you can smash out over a few quick sessions throughout the day. Swgoh turned into a behemoth that can require up to or even more than an hour, sometimes approaching 2 if you don’t auto everything. That’s not a mobile game to me, that’s heading towards a proper PC game. Maybe it’s because so many people play this on Bluestacks (myself included) they want it to be a deeper experience but it is still a mobile game. If I can no longer play the game in the odd few minutes throughout the day and have to plan time to sit down and smash out too many game systems, I’m out. So let’s just enjoy the slow burn while it lasts, because we know capital games will mess it up soon enough. From a content point of view, I’d love to see more stuff about what squads to use to take down certain hard missions. What squad power level should you aim for before tackling a chapter or daily challenge. Which enemy to target first? the big guy or the healer etc. I think across the board of content creators there seems to be an absence of these kinds of content while everyone is more focused on datamines and theory crafting. I think we should be trying to get more people into the game, or is the guild I’m in the only one that took a hit to its numbers 14 days after launch when the bootings began.

Gpa’s Mobile Gaming-LOTR Heroes of Middle Earth: Great Video. I really like how u explain 2 sides to every coin. I Love the game and will play as long as its going. just sad there isn’t more to do currently

Darshan Joshi: tbh I’m fine with things for now and happy I don’t need to spend more than 20-30min a day to get everything done. I’m sure that’ll change as more features get launched. But until then, I’ll do my dailies, build my teams up, and get ready for a more interesting and complex game in the future.

Nazgul Gamer: I am really enjoying the slow building up and growing steadily until we see the first legendary and raid. It’s exciting and (yes, boring at the same time) a slow-growth chance to plan out the teams you want to build. You can’t actually make any game-breaking mistakes right now if you invest poorly in a team, pivot and do up another team. Having multiple teams growing is not bad (it’s inefficient but not bad). You will eventually have most of the starting characters all level 65, tier 7, and that will be seen as small. Just do a daily grind, farm some pips and smile that you don’t have to live on the game like MSF or start 5 years behind like SWGOH.

Zimmy: If people don’t wanna play until there’s more content then just quit and come back when it does and then have fun playing catch up with the rest of us that stayed with it 😂
