What Makes PARANORMASIGHT Stand Out
Overview:
A horror mystery adventure game that takes place in Sumida ward, Tokyo, Japan in the late Shōwa era.
Unique characters swayed by curses. Their motives intertwines as the story unfolds. And you are tasked to bring the story to its end with your own hands.
Synopsis:
A typical office worker, Shogo Okiie was investigating with his friend, Yoko Fukunaga at Kinshibori Park in the middle of the night about “Honjo Seven Mysteries”, a well-known local ghost story.
Yoko told Okiie said ghost story has something to do with “The Rite of Resurrection” which Okiie took it with a grain of salt, but something strange happens one after the other before his very eyes…
At the same time, there are also others who pursuit “Honjo Seven Mysteries”. A detective investigating a case that involves multiple unnatural deaths. A female high school student seeking truth behind a suicide of a classmate. And a mother who vowed vengeance for her lost son. Their motives intertwines, centering on “Honjo Seven Mysteries”. The story takes a violent turn to which they cast curses amongst each other.

Community Insight:
We got this to play through October in the middle of the night and it set the mood perfectly. We were apprehensive at the start of the game and thought it might be a bit cheesy but the story picks up quickly and hits hard. Ive finished the entire game and the story still lingers on our mind. If you like story based games we would highly recommend.
Remember how superstitions were said to largely be a thing of the past due to limited communication technology? Remember the Oulja board and talk of possession? This game touches on mass hysteria and the psyche of the characters involved in the Seven Mysteries of Hojo. Theres a whole lot of reading, but its totally worth it. The twists and betrayals were pretty surprising, but it all gets tied together and the ending makes complete sense. We just wish there were more routes where you could use the curses more.
Hope could add support for game center achievements and iCloud saves.
This is a great visual novel game, with nice plot and characters. The puzzles are not so difficult if you pay attention to some details. In conclusion, it is a game that can be recommended to other players who love visual novels.
We bought this after reading all the 5-star rave reviews. We tend to like most Square Enix games, so it seemed like a guaranteed hit waiting for us to enjoy. Its fine, but not excellent. Its a decent story. Not worth the price though. The gameplay isnt engaging and the creativity thats there doesnt make up for the dullness of most of the time spent on the game itself. Its not the worst game Ive ever purchased, but it is the worst Square Enix game Ive ever purchased.
An amazing adventure visual novel with deep characters and an original plot. Runs great on ios, with easy to manage touchscreen interfaces. The story is about 10 hours long, and manages to keep you coming back. Soundtrack is catchy too. One of our best purchases here, must have.

This game was so fun! The art was beautiful, the story was super interesting and twisted, and the whole thing was just really entertaining. We wish there were more games like this.
This game is amazing. Love the characters, the story, the soundtracks. Everything in this game is great.
The game itself runs very smooth, but it may vary depending on how old your device is (ours is recent). Story is very well played out, true horror game vibes. Never bought a mobile game before but this changed that! Definitely reccomend to those into Serial Experiment's Lain, kinda gives off that aesthetic.
We honestly did not expect much from this game but it was absolutely fantastic. After beating it, we're looking for other games to play that are like it but there is nothing else that stands up to it. Very very solid story and gameplay.
If you enjoy visual novels, specifically games such as the Zero Escape series, Phoenix Wright, or Dagonronpa, youll most likely love this game To us it feels like a mix of Death Note, Zero Escape, and Fatal Frame, mixed into a Visual Novel style. The art style is beautiful, music fits the scenes mood perfectly, and the story and mystery kept us enticed all the way through. The game also likes to change and pan the camera angle, or zoom in/out on different characters to make the image less static and more interesting to look at. This is a hidden gem for sure, and one of our favorite visual novel style games period. 100% worth buying.
Majority of Square Enix games are bangers and half of them arent advertised and mainly people who are closely following SE content will find out or a friend telling them. This hidden gem of a game is a great puzzle game. More fun to have people to voice act with you for the dialogue which makes this a good game to stream, the puzzles are very creative as you can tell from the prologue itself (Shogo as the main character until you unlock the path screen).
We rarely buy games, but this one is worth the money. The plot are good, the art are amazing, had us cry over some chapter. Overall, we hope this game would be more popular cause it deserves the recognition.
This game is something we love it so far has a Fatal Frame vibe to it very well thought out.
