Community Insight:
We beat the game and now Im going to beat the next chapter in forgotten hill! BYE.
Also our game didnt match the walk through. The puzzle at the end has Roman numerals and ours had two sets of numerals while the walk through just had one. It made no sense. We solved it but it was random. We have no idea what the creator actually meant for you to do. And since it didnt match the walkthrough? Idk. Anyway, nbd. Its really cute-spooky. We love how its drawn. Its really short for the price though. Id say play this with ads then spend money on a longer forgotten hills game.
Not sure its worthy of the $3.99 to remove ads that were mostly 5 secs long that happened only a few times that it took to finished it. But it was worthy of 4 stars for a free, short enjoyable game.
This is a great game overall, but the tombstone picture puzzle wouldnt make the hand appear to continue the game. We had to look up a walk-through to realize what was supposed to happen and nothing we would do could make the hand pop up out of the ground.
Thank you for replying to our review and updating the app to remove the intrusive banner ad covering the bottom third of the iPad screen. We applied the update and started the game. Had 30-second ads right away, so we paid $5.99 to remove the ads (something we routinely do). Imagine our surprise when the game ended in about 12 minutes. Your other games are challenging and fun, and a good pastime for a few hours. This one was a ripoff.
This game was way too short for anyone to spend $5.99 removing ads. We expected it to be much longer, like Disillusions, but we finished it in about 30 minutes. It should only cost about $2, at most, to remove ads.
We dont mind paying for games. In fact, we prefer it since we hate ads, and think its only right to pay for peoples work. These games are no snap to make. We had just played Forgotten Hill Disillusion, paying $4.99 to remove ads, and was very impressed by the length and difficulty of that game. So when we downloaded FH Fall, we didnt hesitate to click that dollar sign to unlock. We didnt think anything of the fact it was only $1.99, since its an older game. However, we were still getting ads randomly. Going back and clicking on the dollar sign again a couple times, we were assured by popups that our payment was activated and ads were removed. Well, sort of. It was all good until we accessed a hint. Long full screen ad followed. Another trip back to the main page. We finally noticed and clicked on the light bulb icon. So NOW they offering us the princely deal to unlock all hints and remove ads for a cost of $5.99! We might have taken this deal in the first place had we known it existed, but not in addition to the previous $1.99. But it was all good. Again, sort of. Because we continued on, didnt really need more hints and discovered that this game is unbelievingly short for the unlock price. Shamefully short. Disgracefully short. The $1.99 price was even too much, let alone another $5.99! We would have been livid if we had paid that much. So here we are. FH games are very good. Disillusion was great, even, and worth the money. But Im very doubtful about paying unlock prices for the other games. And kind of not liking Forgotten Hill very much.
This would have been an excellent game had it not been for multiple glitches not allowing us to interact, pick up clues, or use items until leaving and reentering the game or restarting phone. We finished the game to see if it continued, which unfortunately it did. We will try another from Forgotten Hill game because the concept was great, and see if its just this game.
This game is definitely not our favorite. Mostly because its incredibly glitchy. It randomly wont let you interact with things, unless you leave the room and return, which then leads to an excess of ad pop ups. Its free, so we cant complain too much but theres no real story (in this one), its very short, and a lot of the clues are a bit reaching. -Avid escape room player.
After we payed to remove ads, the ads continued. What a ripoff.
Outrageous price for such an extremely short game. Would not have purchased it, had we known.
Another really good escape game from this dev with challenging puzzles, great, creepy graphics, and lots of fun. Well made and no glitches. These games are going into our top favorites category.
Here we are , clicking along when all of a sudden we are killed! We don't want to spoil it so we can't tell you what happened – but we were suddenly attacked and died! We jumped out of our seat! OMG! Scary.
This game was really good. Some of the puzzles didnt work at first, but they were fixed after we closed and reopened the app.
Keep them coming! Great job, Manuela! You guys rock.
Some actions wont work until we leave the game and come back. And even when we do for some of them it wont work.
We're only giving it one star because it won't let us pick up the key that's on the floor behind the table. We keep clicking and clicking but it won't pick up, please fix this and we'll raise our rating.
Escape game with interesting puzzle and a creepy story. Well done.
Loved the game very fun, but you really need to pay attention.
We're running this on an iPhone 6+ on the current iOS and it keeps crashing randomly.
