Its not a game, its an art. Too short, but worth a cup of coffee.

We wish that there was a second one or it was longer because we’ve played this game like 10 times im obsesseddddddd.

Yes it’s a game, but more than that is art. We like it a lot for being original and aestetically well done.

This game was so nice! The artwork, the music, the puzzles. Its not too short and not too long. Its like meditation and we loved it. No, im not paid to write this lol amazing experience, truly.

Outstanding graphics nice intuitive gameplay. Creative but short.

Perfectly caking before bedtime. Nicely done! Im happy to pay the small fee for your development.

We echo others saying it was way too short, but we want to see more from these guys so Im giving it 5 stars. We too was boggled by the story, but it really didnt matter as it was entertaining. Loved the art.

We prefer a game we can play a little each day over a series of days. Right when we thought we were wrapping up for day 1, we actually finished the whole game.

It was really fun but it was also really short and kind of a waste of money. We still enjoyed it thought.

The intro is not the best it throws you in the and we dont think there was a tutorial but once you get past the intro its not hard And some parts take long but the game is very good (if you like this game we would recommend monument valley)

We are funny creatures, arent we?! Well pay $5 for a (usually throwaway) greeting card with nice art, but complain about a $2 app not being sufficient, failing to recognize the craft and time that goes into this kind of original storytelling, animation and music. Why kvetch about the length when it says right in the description that it takes 20-30 minutes to play?! We found the story + artwork + puzzle play + soundtrack delightful, innovative and intriguing, and its refreshing to interact with a piece of unfolding art in a right-brained, unexpected way. Bravo.

Thought there could of been more to the story itself. At first we thought it was a very creative puzzle/game and we were so interested, then after finishing it twice we completed the game within 10min. At the end of the game we were VERY DISAPPOINTED . Hoping there is more to this game future wise.

Finished the game in 15-20 minutes. Not worth the money. Basically you just click until you do something. Artwork was nice and the game somewhat relaxing but again not worth paying for. We hope they add more levels so we can feel its worth the money.

We stuck with it only because we paid for it. We want our 20 minutes back. The plot was random and overly artsy, and the puzzles were kindergarten level.

You should offer refunds. Game makes no sense. Just clicking on random things until something happens. Awful story line. We dont even write reviews. Thats how bad we feel like this game is.

We thought the game looked cool, and we were quite a few levels in when we realized we had no idea what was happening in the story. A good part of the time, we wound up randomly tapping the screen until something happened. Another reviewer compared it to Monument Valley. This game is NOTHING like Monument Valley. The graphics are minimal. There is nothing to learn and build on, and if there was a story, we have no idea what it was.

Did we play a game? Was it art? How do you rate art, and how do you say if its worth its price? For a game – its dissapointingly short. It literally has 3 puzzles that are solved and gone in 15 minutes. Dont reccomend you spend any money on this game. But, if you like art, its worth its money.

What is this supposed to be, a joke? There is no story, no game, no purpose and most of all no fun. It is a blessing how short it is. Quite possibly the most disappointing app that we ever encounteted.

The screen is black and it just says connect game pad to continue, even though our game pad is connected.

It moves slowly and with no real purpose. We lost interest very quickly. Im just tapping a screen to make some random thing happen. Its a short game we understand but we keep getting interrupted and it cant seem to save our progress. So far its been a waste of time and money. Cant recommend it.

Gorgeous art. Wish it were longer but very impressive.

We personally loved this game but we finished it in less the 20 minutes we were honestly sad but its still a really good game is you are into puzzles and adventure games.

The game has beautiful art and is very relaxing to play. We enjoyed figuring out the puzzles and seeing the story develop.

We thought it was a beautiful game but it was way to short. Although we dont mind supporting peoples work we dont think it was worth the $1.99. There are free apps that last longer than that.

It was so soothing to go through Arrogs life and death and feel his peoples grief and songs and the animals who lead and follow and eventually how he becomes the earth.

While short, the production values are beautiful and the puzzles are creative. Worth all 213 pennies.

Wonderful, artistic, calming and utterly beautiful adventure. It makes you slow down and think on the tasks with no instruction. We appreciated the time to investigate and find our own way. Lovely graphics and sounds.

While its a great games as art piece, it is very short, like 30 minutes, but that isnt necessarily a negative.

A short but intense experiencia that should be experienced with good headphones.

The music and art style were exquisite. We just wish the game itself was longer.

This game was on our preorder list as soon as we saw it. We love games in this category and was super excited to get to play this as soon as it was released. However, this game became disappointing after we completed it in 20 minutes, give or take a few minutes. Puzzles was simple but not a lot to it in furthering the story. Meaning we were hoping the puzzles were intertwined with the story. We are just hoping after paying for this small game there will be episodes or more to it added along the way. But we do give kudos to the people behind the game. The game in itself with involving death as it is much a taboo in most societies gives a way for others to look at it from others perspectives.

Very beautiful game. Also very, very short. Wouldve enjoyed more.

The game is beautiful and love how it was made! Our only thing is that its super short, as in it only takes an hour to finish.

We had fun, but it only took us 45 minutes to finish the game.

This game was very relaxing! We love these type of games but the game is too short to be paid for. Wish this game was either longer or for free.

Felt a little too short, but it was well done.

The game is beautiful and promising, but it is short and unsatisfying. The notifications from Game Center for each achievement was annoying. The story and the challenges can be further developed.

Pretty game, but took us about 30 to get from beginning to end. We would have liked it to be a little bit more of a challenge.

The hand drawn animation and story design are spectacular. Unfortunately the gameplay is fast and unchallenging. The story elements are beautiful. But this is a game you could finish in about 20 minutes with every little cognitive energy expended on your part. We wish the game play was more harder.

We like the fact that it was a unique game. There was nothing difficult or challenging about it, very relaxing. We didnt understand what the story was about, other than a person died. What was the purpose of the hippo? It was just way too short for a paid game. We finished it in 20 minutes.

We loved the game but we wish it was longer. It had a very unique style that we liked, but we wish they gave you more of a story line and made the game longer. We finished it pretty quickly.

We were SO excited for this game. It really fit into the type of games we enjoy. Im a little disappointed that it only took us 30 minutes to play. Especially since this is a game you pay for. Would love to see more levels and difficulty added!!

The game and gameplay are good but for $2 we think it should be a lot longer.

If you want to see a beautiful animation for the visual art story experience, this is well worth it. Amazing art style. But if you want a mysterious adventure game to figure out, this is not for you. Most of it is just tapping to reveal the next animations. There is very little game play and it’s extremely short. It wasn’t worth the price to us but we had to rate something good to recognize the artistic work put into it. Would have been 5 stars if we found it as a YouTube animated short instead.

Beautiful artwork, TERRIBLE game design.

This game has a great concept and neat art. But it only had maybe half a dozen puzzles and a lot of slow cutscenes that couldnt be skipped. We also agree with the other review that said not all the navigation or goals were intuitive. Pretty disappointing, overall.

We bought a game because we thought the art style looked really cool. Turns out the UI is really not intuitive. We ended up just tapping on the screen until we eventually figured out what it was we were supposed to do. And its super short. Im assuming there is some kind of story, but its too abstract to make sense. We wouldnt waste our time or money again.
