What Makes Bounden Stand Out

Game Oven's whimsical dancing game for two players, with choreography by the Dutch National Ballet. Twist and twirl elegantly, or get entangled with a friend.

Holding either end of a device, you tilt the device around a virtual sphere following a path of rings. You swing your arms and twist your body, and before you know it, you are already dancing.

• Watch the Dutch National Ballet dancers in Bounden's tutorial videos.
• Unlock 8 dances.
• Classical music composed by Bart Delissen.

Bounden was featured on the New York Times, the Guardian, BBC, The Verge, Mashable, Kotaku, GiantBomb, Joystiq, Destructoid, and many others.

This Music game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

No Dancing element. Just rotate the phone.

Really cool concept, but we just couldn't get into the music. After level 1 it gets so confusing that we sort of just bs thru it until we give up. Also, the videos are impossible to follow (but interesting to watch!).

This game has a good concept but is almost impossible after the first level. It's fun until it starts telling you you're going TOO FAST! Or TOO SLOW! No, we didn't come here to be told that "we're not doing it right!" And that in order to do anything beyond the first and second level it requires practice and doing it over and over to progress. How is that fun? It is just frustrating. It would be improved with easier dancing and help with the tricky moves. And, what is up with all the levels being locked?! We paid for this app, let us try the other levels.

Laudable, clever & mildly amusing with pretty music, also good support, 5 stars if the dances weren't locked so the player(s) could choose what & when, and the player wasn't required to dance an entire dance before being allowed another jig.

Our girlfriend loves it when we play this game. We think it's her new favorite app;D.

Fantastic job guiding the dances. An amazing amount of fun.

Smart choice for Valentine's Day.

Bounden is perfect to pull out at a party and break the ice with. We haven't found anything like it since it came out.

This is our new favorite app! We honestly can't wait to show it off to friends! Our boyfriend and we had a fantastic time with it.

We love this app, it's solid, beautiful and fun when you and your partner using it. The tone is beautiful too.

Algo diferente a los juegos que estamos acostumbrados, bastante bueno para jugar con los amigos.

Such an interesting "game". Takes a bit to really grasp by once you and your partner have it down it's tons of fun. Just in case it's not obvious this is a strictly two player experience.

We played his game with our wife a couple of days ago. She's been waking up sick for the last couple of days and is eating a lot. Play at your own risk.

Like nothing else we've played on iPhone. A lot of fun and not easy to master any dance. Our wife and we recorded ourselves playing for extra laughs.

Grab someone you love, then play this together, don't play in public thou, then no more friendzone.

We've been looking forward to playing this game since we heard of it months ago. Really worth the wait. Grab it now.

Can NOT play with 1 person. That being said it is a really innovative game for 2 people. Sure it might be $1 more than it should be for a 2 person only game but keep this in your arsenal for a good go-to impromptu date. It gets you closer to your partner better than a dinner and movie. It will keep you both laughing and learning together. It's a lot cheaper and reusable. The makers did a bad job with the preview pictures (2 girls dancing together = :/ ) but if you've read this far it's really worth while getting for its originality and innovativeness. Directions are not very clear, but think of the circle like an open mouth and the sphere's opening like another mouth; since there's 2 players there's 2 mouths making a conversation.

We tested this game at PAX East 2014 and we've been waiting for it to come out ever since! This game has definitely been fun to play! What a cool concept for a multiplayer game using 1 phone, not to mention all of the work that had to go into it! Definitely worth it! :).

This is the best use of a phone accelerometer we've ever seen. It's fun, you end up looking ridiculous but you don't care because it's awesome.

The music, visuals, and dancing are all stunning.

Our wife is a dancer and we got this to see what she thought and we both really enjoyed it. Solid game/dance software.

A lot harder than we thought it would be. It's unique and we had fun playing it for a bit. However expensive.

Played it at PAX, it's fun and interesting. It's like a pickup line disguised as a video game.

Great for dancing under the stars with someone special.

Challenging but fun we're glad we got it. If you can stand up to the challenge we suggest you do the same.

A great concept followed by a great execution. If you can find a friend to dance with you, well worth the price.

Tons of fun at a party! It works with airplay so you can pipe the sound through speakers so everyone can hear while you dance. It gets pretty challenging so if you want to master it you'll need some patience and a cooperative partner.

It's fun, challenging, and incredibly frustrating but worth the money.

Have never played a game quite like this one. Not just a tech demo, either, as its got great design and aesthetics.

Nothing else like this out there. Fun to invite family and friends to play the tutorial, and see them dance about and come to feel good about their skills. Feels like the difficulty ramps up a lot after the first couple levels, but there's nothing wrong with that — just gotta work at it a bit. :) and learn to trust your partner.

Such a pleasant challenge to do with our spatially challenged wife! Thank you for giving us hours of laughter and joy.

Not only is this game a blast, it's a testament to the power of technology to bring people together in new ways.

We can't wait to play this with our friends! Ever since we saw the videos for it, we've been very excited waiting to try it. And now it's here. It's whimsically wonderfully wacky fun.

Play this with our girlfriend and we laugh and try to get better scores. It is rare to see such use of the gyroscope in iPhone games these days.

We simply love it; we've been playing with our wife and children all morning.

This game is the best use of mobile gameplay for art & interpersonal connections we've seen in a long time.
