Community Insight:

Really fun to play when your trying to pass time or just bored in general and its so simple yet so complex it could use a few updates though we would suggest a stock market and contracts as money making methods.

Awesome game. We love the graphics and the game play. The concept, while pretty simple, is engaging and fun. One problem is that we spend a lot of time playing this game that we get behind schedule. Theres one problem with the game too. Our hardware updates are all grayed out and we are only able to buy 1 at a time. Is that how its supposed to be or is it a bug.

So Stupid and Im Hooked,What else can u say but u gots to try it because we can get it right hots to get 4000000 for next up grade Been a couple weeks and still hooked some one teach us this skill , we need to make money doing this , is it possible at this point ! Need a youngster to teach us we are 20 years behind and would give 1 soul for the skilll of doing what you crave and getting paid PHat!! We could stop telling people we sweat and bread for at living its rough.

The game is fun but the coin drops significantly drop the FPS (frames per second) derastucly so that typeing on the keyboard for money at a high cash earning rate lags the game a lot so if you could developers Add a setting that turns off coin sprites.

Great game, super fun, only issue is it randomly mutes.

Creates structure for automatic development for online deep surface web , perfect start kit. We would say ether um fosho or most deff.

We love these kinds of games and we like the clicks.

Good game keep the good work :D.

This game is fun and addicting for people who actually code and people who don't. We really like how you actually type the code. Which is C++ or C#. Anyways, good game.

We spends hours playing this game. Awesome.

This game is addicting! We never get board. We suggest you get this game.

We like the concept of the game and it helps us pass that time easily.

This is exactly what coding for a living is like.

What a fun game!! Read your credits and had a good laugh. Hope to see more coding apps from you. There aren't many on here! Thanks :D.

These app creators took the concept "simple game" and upgraded it to make it decently addicting. And than they added sounds and money, shops, and effects. But don't forget they had to create all of that code that pops up on the screen and that means that they put their time (or maybe just some of it) to make this game and that makes it good. After all that- they finally published it so people could download, play, enjoy, and write their reviews on. And what do all of those haters do? They write bad reviews on it. But overall we liked the game.

Love this game and the whole concept! So simple yet fun. Its great for boredom or when youre waiting and need something mindless to do to occupy your thumbs. Totally addictive we just wish there were more apps like it.

It's a lot like for the love of money, but with digital currency. Very fun and addictive.

We were looking for something that would let us code apps personally, but ah well.

Not only has this app inspired us to study computer science but it has also drastically improved our life. After playing this app for two days we were inspired to learn how to actually code. We came up with an idea (uber for dogs) and am about to close our series A round in funding! But we could care less about the millions of dollars we're about to make, all we want is to see this developer's next game! This man (or woman) is pure genius!!! We can't wait to see what he/she inspires us to do next.

Just like "Make It Rain" but instead you tap instead of swiping, we think you should make another game similar too this and see how people react, we think you'd be suprised at the positive feedback:).

We were bored and trying out different games to keep us busy while we were waiting for a phone call when the next thing we knew several hours flew by. We cannot believe how oddly addicting this was but now we're wondering how much sleep we're going to lose over the next few days because of this. Is the game a simple concept? Sure it is. Does that automatically mean it's bad? Absolutely not. We don't quite understand how hitting a button can give us a certain level of satisfaction, but maybe when we beat the game we'll be able to find out.

A fun game!! We love the promotion titles as you progress further into the game (CGTFO, crawling back to your old company). Keep up the good work.

Coming from a software developer background, we like all the references! Nicely done.

Thanks for fixing those bugs. Loving this game.

Noticed you have an option to mute sound and you in context that you dont know how to mute sounds exactly if you need some pointers or help let us know Id gladly help for free.

Its supper addicting but we think they should add a part to each section saying how much you get a second.

Fun little game. Would love to have commas so it would be easier to read the money amount, though.

Dont get us wrong its a great game but it just feels generic theres something that make it feel generic.

Just started playing but seems good but not a lot of direction of what to do in the beginning but still fun just tap away.

We love it but on our iPod it starts to really bog down after reaching the millions when tapping. We think you should have a set of options things like number of coins in shower and the option to truncate to the nearest K M B as a selection. Do those things and you'll get our 5 stars.

This game is has coding "graphics" meaning the game puts you at a desk and every time you hit screen you get money for "coding" pretending like your typing up code. No actual coding, you will l learn nothing. Other negative reviews correct. Many Positive reviews are fake. Good waste of time.

Do NOT, we repeat, do NOT waste your time on this app, and more importantly, do NOT waste your real money on this app. Sure, it is really a great way to waste ALL YOUR TIME!!! No imagination AT ALL! Wasted, wasted, wasted energy. We even feel that we wasted our time choosing to write a review. We have done it for all of the people that are thinking of wasting time and money on such a ridiculous application.

We were loving the game. Would have rated it as 4 stars (it loses a star for not having commas in your $ so you have to count the digits to see if you can afford something.) But then we bought the Intern upgrade. $10 real world cash. Pricey, but we believe in supporting developers. Problem is what the intern does. The description says you dont have to tap for money any more. You can just hold down. Okay, thats true. Problem is that holding down gives you money as if you were tapping veeeeery sloooowly. Sorry, devs, but if Im going to give you $10 real world cash, that intern needs to pay us as if we were tapping like the wind. With the pathetic rate at which the intern earns money, we still need to tap to earn at a decent rate. And that makes our $10 a complete waste. We can forgive a lot in a game, but we cant forgive wasting your customers real world money. 1 star.

Being advertised as a coding game, we thought real coding would be involved. That is not the case. Spending time creating a product does not guarantee a good product. This is an unimaginative and useless app.

The concept sounds good. That, however, the fun stops. First. Let us explain what you do. You tap a fake keyboard really fast. While you tap, code pops on the screen and coins fall down from the top. Basically all this game is, how fast can you tap the screen. Nothing more. Then, if you get suckered into it, you can pay for the program to tap itself. This is not a game, it is a time waster. You would get the same thing if you got a "talley" app and hit the plus sign as fast as humanly possible.

We don't know what type of unit a dollar-line of code is, BUT we WANT MORE. Great game idea, great execution! We look forward to seeing how it evolves. We're hooked.

Clever game. It's like work, but fun.

This is a great finger exercise.

Before CodeForCash, we were just another developer. We created mediocre apps, behind schedule. After a decade or two of resisting change, and the full belief that youve reached the pinnacle of mediocrity, this app comes as a shock. The rumors are true, this app is groundbreaking. It has allowed us to produce even more mediocre software, even faster. It is night and day. After two weeks of using this platform, we needed more. We hired an intern, and started raking in even more cash for even more mediocre software. If you are a developer who has ever struggled with productivity this app is for you. It is a game changer. And it will make the internet a better place.

Really satisfying keyboard sounds makes us want to get out our old yellowed one. This app is fun, easy, and pretty darn addicting. Not sure what some of the upgrade costs mean, though(e.g. "mbb").

Write code like youre HACKIN THE GIBSON. Simple, fun game. Helps design elegant, robust, scalable, fault tolerant algorithms for cloud-based multi-homed zero-gapped cross-domain heuristics across multi-architetcture, cross-platform, real-time distributed host-based systems. Plus clicky keyboards. We need some JOLT COLA, stat. We would merge your pull request any time, Acid Burn.

This game is awesome! This is real code.

This is a fun break from actual coding. Sometimes we feel like our code in this app is better than in real life.

This game is good but not great. Some of its shortcomings are that there are no commas in the values and no shorthand display for your cash, making purchases at higher values frustrating to say the least.
