We’ve loved this game since playing it on our iPod 4 and iPad 3 and have longed for it to get the iOS 11 support treatment. Our prayers have been answered and to this day highly recommend those who are in to business management games to give this a try. Hopefully our cloud saves will carry over.
A really fun game thats simple but engaging. It has a fun story line and brings us back to when we used to home brew. Im most of the way through our first time playing and we can tell you this game is a bargain. We can see myself playing through again. It also takes up very little space and barely touches the battery on our iPhone 6s.
We really wish you world follow up with Fiz 2.
Its always nice to find games that are worth the full price and Im happy to say Fiz is one of those games. The management aspects were great, very engaging and surprisingly replayable. Fun writing and characters kept us glued to the story. Great job on this. We hope other people can enjoy it.
So let us first say that we like this game a lot. If youre a fan of typical management simulators, youll probably like it. Affordable with hours of play, and no in app purchases. But there are a few issues Id like to address: – we wish there was some way to skip the tutorial, its a small thing, but it gets annoying whenever you start a new game. On that same front, we wish there was a way to load an auto save from a day before or a few days before if you make a mistake. -one of the biggest issues we have is the way the sales and competitors beers work. First of all it doesnt seem to make sense the way the budget and thirst indicators are laid out. We went through a whole game thinking we understood it only to read more forums and find out we were completely wrong. We feel like it would be much more intuitive to have budget be how much they would spend on each beer, and thirst be an indicator of how many beers they are going to buy. Also when it comes to selling your beers, even when we do it right, it doesnt seem to work out. For example, we see that the beer of choice is fat and away an IPA based on 50 customers, we see that there are only 2 beers being sold and they are both lagers with an average quality of 400 and a markup of 3.0, since we cant see the price of the other beers, we assume you have made the customers decision to buy based solely on quality, preference, and markup. We then sell our IPA with a quality of 500 and a markup of 2.0. The batch sells out fine, but under sales feedback, there are still people saying that they are choosing the competitors beer over ours even though its not their favorite style because the quality is that much better. NONE of these things are true, we are stocking their favorite style, with a higher quality, and a lower markup, it makes no sense. – also as far as markup and pricing go, when you get into brewing better more expensive beers to make, often you go to sell it and you cant mark it up almost at all if you want to stay in the customers budget, not to mention that if you bring the markup up to wear competitors beers are they wont sell and people complain that their too expensive. We wish that budget would go up accordingly as you progress in the game and brew more expensive beers we hope that all made sense, we havent actually complete the game due to frustration a few times, we know this game is a few years old, but we think it could be really good if a few of these issues could be fixed. Love this game beat it a couple times but there isnt any sound? Id really love to see a sequel or an update please.
Game seems enjoyable but unmaintained. The corners are cut off on newer iPhones and it hasnt been updated in 4 years.
Lots of game for the money. Took us 35 hrs of play!
This is a thoroughly entertaining offering in the business sim genre, and our personal favorite. The gameplay is not difficult to get the hang of, and the replay value of the game is high. It can be used easily as a quick time waster, playing off and on over a longer period of time – or by marathoning through challenges and events for hours on end. We highly recommend this game, and it is worth every penny. Not having in-app purchases and being able to play the game in full with no internet connection or additional money spent is great.
Make your own beer and sell it. Upgrade your equipment, people, location to make better beer. RPG game. Reminds us of FTL game meets harvest moon.
This is probably the most amazing game on the app store. This should be top charts. We had 21 hours if gametime when we finished the game and we will still play it more. The game style is amazing and unique with an awesome storyline. The developers obviously knew what they were doing and how to make a great game. Amazing!
If you like this genre game (simulation tycoon) then you’ll really enjoy this one. The tutorial feels really weird because of your lack of options (you have to click what they tell you to click or you cant progress) but after the 1-2 minute tutorial the game is really fun. Easy to spend lots of hours playing.

This was one of our favorite iOS games, but there are so few games like it.
Have played through multiple times already. Would definitely recommend to any Kairosoft fans, sim fans or fans of games that are just plain fun.
Best game on the App Store! No adds, no in game real money purchases, and no wait times for purchased items. Great story line and lots of other challenges to keep you playing. We have yet to find even one thing that we don’t like. We highly recommend this for anyone that likes "tycoon" style business simulators. Keep up the good work, Bit by Bit Studios!
One of the best executed management games out there. Hadn’t played it in a while, picked it up again recently and it feels just as fresh.
So underated we could do without paying 3 dollars but to be honest.. ITS WORTH IT! You guys don’t get enough credit!! Amazing game!
This is one of those games that the app store sees too infrequently these days. Fiz is an excellent business game centering on running a brewery, and it is a lot of great things — and a couple not so great, admittedly — in one nice package. Simple graphics and audio, which are plenty fine. Lots of detail you can ignore if you want, but you can learn about brewing if you take a few seconds here and there. Interface is a little clunky, so you’ll re-enter settings sometimes, but once you get used to it, it’s not bad. The only real question mark is the sales model, where customers judge what to buy on markup… Which is typically invisible to customers. However, we can see why this was done: as a means to create a dynamic market. Perhaps not the best solution, but not a bad one. However, this is a pay-one, no IAP, play as long as you like, offline game, and THAT is awesome. Add in the upgradeability of you brewery and employees, varied challenges and events, ad sheer scope of detail, and this is a game we’re delighted we found! SERIOUSLY hoping for a sequel!! Total A+!!
Enjoyable game, would recommend. Gets randomly difficult at certain points though and it’s hard to overcome. Had to restart twice.
The game reaks of low quality. The game doesn’t have much of replayablity as the interface is tedious, with interrupting popups and blocking actions making you redo your steps. Some screens lack information and there’s really no good overview overall for even the most vital information. Last but not least, the calculations are broken. This pertains mostly to the actual selling of your beer, and completely ruins the replay value. It took us a week or so to notice, before that we were having a fairly enjoyable time playing the game. Recommended for bored people who like the idea of brewing beer.
It gets bored after a while… Not worth the money.
We were so exited to play the game but when we started playing it we realized the game went no where it was boring just to watch the people not do anything!!!!!! Don’t waste your money on this stupid game.

We bought this because there is no IAP. We do not generally like Sim/Tycoon apps. We love brewing though and we love this game. UPDATE… OMG! We are hooked! Thanks for making this game.
This is a great, simple, easy to learn, and addicting tycoon game. It is exactly what we were looking for. You start out as a small brewery making beer and selling it at a small shop. As you progress through the game new places to sell open up, changing demand for different types of beer. There are also challenges and competitions throughout the game. The developers did their research on their beers too, as the recipes follow the styles of beer. The other thing that is great is that you pay once and you are done. You are not getting nickel and dimmed as you progress though the game. Overall, this a great game and is definitely money well spent.
This is a fun little time burner. A great tycoon type of game that has a lot of fun things to unlock and discover throughout.

If you’re looking for something to wow you with high def graphics and animation, move along. If you’re looking for an intriguing & fun business sim, this is a great one. Simple enough to get into, difficult enough that you’ll start over a few times so you can do it better. Great title, excellent developers. Wish they would put out more titles. Great work, Sean.
For any lover of business strategy sims/mogul games, this game is well worth it! Biz is clever and well designed in many ways with a lot of fun strategical challenges and great replay value. Nice work to the developers – we’re impressed!!
We bought this because it was recommended when we were on the Kairosoft games and saw a ‘great; review on this page. Tried it, worse game ever. Characters just slide across the screen even though their feet are moving FORWARD. No variations whatsoever. Incredibly slow. Nothing that makes it enjoyable. You assign a beer to make and watch it happening every. Single. Time. They don’t do anything else. Animations is off, they look like they’re handing air and humping everytime when making beer. This is in no way should be recommended if you’re a fan of kairosoft games. Ever. So we then bought Adventure Bar Story, for the same price but offers so much more content and actually have fluid animations,controls and movements. We immensely regret ever purchasing this game.

We’ve sunk a few hours in and we feel like we’re only partway into the game. If you like kairosoft you’ll like this.
Simply put, one of the best hand-held games we’ve played to this day. Extremely complex dialogue and back story to every even and challenge. If you like management games then you will love this one.
Great little sim that isn’t Kairosoft! The only flaw (and it might be just me) that we can see that bothers us is the UI in some areas. It can take a long time to perform simple tasks. Regardless, it’s great fun.
No in app purchases, no wait-to-play, beautiful pixel graphics, this game is an instant 5.
So, this looks fantastic except that all of the text fields are blank. Currently prevents even getting through the intro to the game.

We really enjoyed playing FIZ once we had an understanding of all the different aspects when selling your beer. We were impressed with the depth of the game and how the in game economy is always changing. The menu takes some getting used to but otherwise well worth the purchase.

Really wish there were more tycoon games on the App Store like this one. Don’t let the pixelated graphics get to you – there’s surprising amount of complexity to the game and it’s a very good tycoon/business manager. Just a few qualms here and there – too many tutorial pop ups, and we never remember to select those to stop popping up, we would recommend making it default to not appearing after 3 or four times. Other than that it’s great!
It is similar to game dev story in that, it is a business management sim. However, it is pretty deep and it is possible to "lose", which makes is challenging and fun. Cute graphics, fun little gameplay bits and a complete lack of IAPs make this a winner.
Our favorite game of the last few years. If you’re a homebrewer or just a beer fan, you will love this game. It dominated our life for a few weeks.
Not a kairosoft ripoff. Fun game. Unique-ish. Hard to come by decent time management strategy games anymore. But here’s one! Not an iap game either!!!!

We wasn’t sure how this game would be when we bought it, but we’re glad we did. We’re on playing on Game+ and really enjoy it. The game can be a little overwhelming at first, but we’re glad it doesn’t hold your hand. It does take a while to build up your skills and recipes but it was enjoyable the whole way through. We would recommend this game and definitely do research on marketplaces in the game. It helps a ton.
