Fly Fishing Simulator is a first-person, photographic simulation of the sport of fly fishing. It features:

We enjoy this game. It uses realistic stream video and that tackle to be rig in a number of ways to adjust for different water conditions. Caching more fish leads to better tackle and additional stream sections. Would be nice to have more larger fish opportunities, but enjoyable nevertheless. Worth the purchase.
We like this game as us trying to get into fly fishing myself it tells us a lot o what we need to do in it so we can get in to it in real life Great game.

Great game its really addictive and we love it.
We’ve played this game on and off for many years and we are a well seasoned angler and fly tyer of 25+ seasons. When Im stuck at home this game just hits the spot. The hatches and the matching flies are accurate, the casting is simple but demands the timing of actual casting and the bird sounds/river sounds put us at ease. Im really enjoying it on the iPad vs. The iPhone.
Its fun but the fish fight tine is unrealistic a 16 inch trout in real life is no challenge on cheap 4 pound test mono, but in this game a 10 inch trout broke us off with 5 pound either make the line stronger of the fish the strength they are in real life. All in all its fun but please for the love of god fix this and it will be 5 stars.
This game is super interesting and entertaining but the problem is that in order to catch bigger fish you need to spend more money to buy bigger leaders. Also fishing in the same spot gets boring and you also need to pay money for new fishing spots. This game is just pay to win.
It really is a good game but 15 dollars 4 everything like rods reals leaders thats insane money on a game we are a fly fisherman myself it is a pretty good experience of real life we fly fish for white bass it takes 30 seconds to land one not 10 minutes thats one thing the creators neeeeed to fix they do tire fairly quickly we personally love hunting fishing everything of that nature thats our thoughts on the game.
This game is awesome. You have to spend 14$ to get the full package but it is most definitely worth it.
This is a great game especially if you are looking for a game that is fast paced but still relaxing. The free items are great to get a taste for the game (It could use a couple more free locations), but if you have the $15, it is definitely worth buying. Maybe for future updates yall can add saltwater fishing and smoother water animations. Other than that the game is perfect and we are definitely going to recommend. 10/10.
This is a fun game which includes many different fisheries in many different states. We are very familiar with some of the fisheries (the T it amps River in Colorado being one of them) and we even recognised where the places were where the the settings depict. We have been unable to fly fish for a number of years now due to the ravages of Multiple Sclerosis, but its nice to be able to go to those familiar waters in familiar places and drowned a few flies, even if only virtually. The graphics in the game are excellent. About the only thing that isnt realistic is that there arent any mosquitos and horseflies trying to chew you up. In our opinion, thats a good thing. One can even tie ones own flies in the game, and we have tied many of the flies we used to tie and use on the Yampa with decent results. They patterns which we have used for four generations going back to the earliest 1900s and which you cant buy. They have been productive for us on the Yampa and in that entire area, and they are productive on the game world Yampa too. We enjoy playing this game and we hope you will too.

We love realistic views. The casting and fly tying. Its an amazing game.
It was difficult for us to figure out the fish fighting mechanics at first, but once we did we started really enjoying the game.
We absolutely love this game, as we fly fisherman myself, we find it replicates the sport to its fullest potential. However, we feel that the need for IAP to unlock the whole game is excessive. We feel that the Dev should make it so you can fish for more locations, but its much harder to get new locations and flies without IAP. Other than that, the game is incredible, and Paul did an excellent job on it.
Its a nice overall game but the only thing we would change to add that final touch is better looking fish maybe an animation its cool just the hands look weird an opinion.
This might be the greatest game ever made, and we’ve played some games.. 20 STARS .. Just wow.

This is a really good and fun game. Our only problem with it is that it takes 10+ minutes just to reel in an 8 inch fish. Other than that its great Update: we figured out how to do it better and we have tried the newer version of the game, and both are really fun. We like the hd version a little better but theyre still both fun.

We absolutely love this game it is so much fun but the down side is that you have to pay to unlock other cool stuff and we would love it if the graphics were better but otherwise it is a blast playing it!!!
We have only been fly fishing once in real life and caught only 1 itty bitty fish but it was fun. This game replicates that feeling of catching a fish just as well.
We didnt think we would like this game at first but after playing it we love it. We love how challenging it is compared to other fishing games. It feels way more realistic.
Started playing this to relax from work-life stress, our wife wonders where we are at and yells stop fishing on the toilet haha fantastic game; could improve the UI a bit and maybe add once you get an X amount of record catches on a lake you can unlock a new site for free. But overall stellar game!

5/25/20 we find this FF app experience very enjoyable. Our hope is there will be some improvements: the program seems to crash occasionally when reeling in a hooked trout. The insect hatch in some locations seems locked in on one insect, even when fished on different days and times. Please take these as constructive suggestions – we find the fishing water locale great – scenery, audio, graphics detail, to be excellent, and puts us in the stream, and provides a most realistic experience. A lot of thought and work went into this program. _________________ EDIT: 5/27/20 we HAD to purchase the HD version, which has loads of fishing locales throughout the US. In addition there is an option to tie your own custom flies. Again, the varied water conditions, superb visual graphics, make this a most engaging simulated fishing experience. If you enjoy realistic FF programs, this one will not disappoint. As an added plus, one of the fishing spot locations featured in this program is our favorite (how did the developer find it?) we caught some sizable rainbow trout in this exact spot – where is it? Ill never tell…
Been having a lot of fun on this game when Im not on the water doing it in real life . Fun alternative high hopes for a new version.
We have enjoyed this game a great deal. Its fun, realistic, and always challenging. Our only gripe is it works only one way as far as its orientation. We would like to be able to flip our phone and play with it so our sleep button is on the other side.
This is by far one of the best fishing games ever it is so realistic and fun to play and easy to learn we would recommend to anyone of any age.
We’ve played the Fire version fir a few years, was so happy to see a HD iPad version! This game is great, so many rivers to fish. Havent fished the Saco in NH in years since we moved away, the locations in the game are holes we used to fish daily, amazing attention to detail in that regard. Fishing simulation feels great, plenty of fish to catch, loads of options for flies and gear. Easily our favorite iPad game. Worth the price of buying the full version. Just one glitch we’ve noticed: the game sometimes crashes when accidentally pulling down the notifications screen while reeling a fish in. Easy enough reload the game with its fast start-up time, but certainly disruptive. Thanks to the developers for all the hard work on this title, so happy to fish our home waters again!
Nice and realistic and cool to make your own flies, our only downside is we are saving for a Orvis Encounter and we can not pay 19.99 for everything we think you should be able to earn all levels our opinion.
Fun to while away the colder months when our waders are dry.
For some reason we cant get the sounds to work on our IPad air.
The only down fall is the first 2 levels give you the opportunity to catch bigger finish so you can move on to the next level. But theres like 8 or 10 different levels and only the first 2 place only let you do 2 levels on each witch is fine but they need to let everyone get 2 levels on each sight that way we can see if we like the other levels and if we do then make us pay for the rest of them and not make us pay just for altogether 4 sites its not really worth taking a guess and paying for it and end up not liking.
The game is good ,it has some good features. We like the casting, and the catching part. The fighting part needs some work, Better control of the rod and reel. Maybe be able to move around a little. But , over all a great learning tool for the beginner fly fisherman.
The game is very fun but it kinda feels like a money trap because you have to pay for a new rod and different sights. So please developers have pity on some and give us a second rod and line and one more sight to fish and then it will be a five star game. But over all its very fun.
Its super realistic and can help you with it in real life! The only problem we have is that it keeps crashing.
Used to get all of the gear and some spots by earning it like you earn flies and you also used to be able to tie your own, we get they have to make money and its still a good game, they just made it more pay to play unfortunately.
Hello, we fell in love with this game at first, but having to purchase almost everything isnt really fair, we suggest making at least 2 more rivers free, and some gear free too, the flys are fine because you get to earn them. Other than this we really like the game.
