This is a fantastic app that has made keeping track of encounters, treasure and xp so very easy! It gives more time to enjoy the story and actually role play instead of dragging encounters out. You can even roll initiative, attacks, skill rolls… All on the monsters sheets. We would make 3 suggestions: A prompt to save when going back to prevent lost story, a skull or indicator on the encountered creatures list column on the left (There is one on the individual creatures sheet, but not all fit on screen at once) and a way to donate to further development and fine tune this app. Enough criticism from us. We thoroughly enjoy Game Master 3.5. Its the absolute best Ive tried, and Ive tried many apps.

We do love this app but we are hoping that you will update the bedtiary to include other creatures.
We have been using the resource more frequently and enjoy it very much. We just wish it was available for Android OS also.
This app has been very helpful as a first time DM. It allows us to have all our notes in one place and we can access them from anywhere.
We use this app for managing pretty much everything on our campaign. From combat, to encounters to overarching of the story to keeping track of treasure, XP, and having reference photos to show our players. Seriously, this is a fantastic app.
The best app ever for smoothly getting combat done, streamlines the whole process. Combine with fight club and you have your PCs as well. Quick reference for those "what does panicked mean?" situations. Two suggestions would be to have the ability to randomly roll the hp for multiple monsters of the same type, and to be able to update your purchase on different/newer devices – the update thing is the only reason this is not 5 stars.
It actually has all the tools we needed to be quick when we were DMing it really enjoyed it and was very surprised when we found out that the app was not just outdated but actually was semi frequently updated our one request form it is if you could a tab for PC to not just NPC but other then they we found this to be almost everything we needed to be a DM other then the books themselves.
This app was a fantastic staple to our campaigns, and with the new update we were very excited about all the changes, except for one… You can no longer download character sheets provided from their companion app, fight club 3. Hoping to see that change back soon.
We're a beginner DM and this App has been a life saver. Wish we had known about it when we were just a player cause there's So much useful info in this thing.
This app is amazing for keeping track of campaigns, keeping tabs of encounters and battles and even has an encyclopedia with the numerous spells of every class and info on such. Very Helpful.
Our only complaint is that we've become so reliant on this app that we don't know if we could go back to the days of pen & paper. Everything we wanted and more. Ok, one more complaint. The Beastiary has seemed to have diminished dramatically. A lot less monsters than before. Just noticed this issue today.
This is actually a really cool and useful app for keeping track of encounters. We set up a handful of encounters for an upcoming gaming session, entered the stats from the char sheets, and when it came time for the actual gaming night, the combats went more smoothly than they ever have before. It works very well for keeping track of initiative order, and you can reorder when a readied action fires. Hit point tracking works quite well, and you even get a "health bar" for the creatures. There are also places to keep notes, for example during a combat, or even for the overall campaign. Very well thought out. It's clear that the author actually games as well, and designed it from the perspective of a DM. If we have one criticism it is that the rules cheat sheet (the icon that looks like a DM screen) loads super-slow, and the app is completely unresponsive whilst it loads, to the point where the first time we thought the app had hung. We would think that would be easy to address, or we would hope it would.
This app, along with the same developer's Fight Club app have both completely changed game night for the better. What used to pause game to look things up, or to calculate effects, or to simply note things now runs seamlessly. We have found game to run more smoothly, and with more fun. And after-all, isn't that the point.
In general, the app offers bare basics for quick reference. Scry Free was only slightly better, because it's free version also came with class tables. $2.99 isn't bad for what you would get, but the lack of info on iconic monsters, like the beholder, keep the price from seeming completely fair.
We would have rated it 5 stars because we have been using this app for months with little to no problem. But just today the app crashed on us and we lost all our custom data plus 80% of the preset data in the app, losing weeks of work we spent on it! After downloading it again, we tried to start over from scratch only for the same thing to happen within 5 minutes.
It doesn't try and do everything, but it does a surprising amount of things. 3.5 battles are so much smoother, and we can fill in spare time adding thoughtfully provided details, like pics for characters. Love it. Please make a decent map-maker.

Great app. If you could add an option that would let us buy additional monster manuals we would be a very happy DM.
This app is all we use to prepare game sessions for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 now. Lots better than keeping loose papers and flipping through rulebooks constantly. Buy the full version if you have the spare change.
We rarely pay for apps but as a DM. We found the majority of what we need to run our campaigns and adventures right here in this one app.we especially love the fact that we can sync it between two or more devices seeing that most of our adventures are written on the fly using our phone but we DM using our iPad.this is a great app highly recommend it.
We had been happily using this app for about 5 months when it decided to crash. When we reopened it EVERY THING was deleted, even the content that comes with the app. When we went to restore cloud data, it crashed. When we went to restore local data, it crashed. When we went to restore default data, none was found. We lost MONTHS of DM work: story, dozens of monsters, character progression, everything gone. When we reached out to the developers via Facebook we got no response. We were at least able to recover our purchased version, so that's a plus. Help would be appreciated. Review subject to change based on developer response.
The latest improvements to this app are fantastic. Having a virtual rules screen is sweet and being able to save to the cloud is quite lovely. We continue to enjoy this developer's choices. We highly recommend using this app to support running a 3.5 edition game.
Great concepts, needs a tutorial mode though we think. Needs to be able to import character sheets from fight club app, encounter section confusing, seems like more work than its worth in the end, but we'll keep toying with it.
Could you please add an Experience Calculator to this app please! We bought this app because it is awesome and we love it. We could really use an experience calculator for each combat encounter. It would be great to have a button that we could push and it would auto calculate the experience the party gets for defeating the monsters in that encounter. Please, Please, Please put this in!!! Thanks, a fellow DM.
We have been using Fight Club, another great lions den app, and this just app now saves us hours of prep. Please add iCloud sync and a way for players to sync their sheets from fight club. Keep up the gr8 work.
