We enjoy playing Hardwood Hearts. The animation, the layout of the game board , statistics, all work well together. Its also pleasing to look at overall and kind relaxes our mind and vision. We look forward to playing every day, usually multi times a day lol.

For a card game this one is simply fantastic, the best out there!!! We love playing with all our friends on line, and the full chat is wonderful! There are so many people playing, its always easy to find new friends! This is a great way to stay in touch with folks!
We really do like this app. Im confused about some of the rules but its early days yet. We prefer to play against real people and with this app, you have that choice.
We’ve been using this card game since 2001. On a pc. To this day we cannot find a better game. Graphics, backgrounds, avatars make playing a already fun heart game even better. We cant say enough about this game. We have purchased this game for pc, Android, and now IOS. You simply must try this version of hearts. They also have Hardwood Spades, Rummy and Solitaire. Love Love it.
Good graphics and lots of option s available for customization.
Good graphics. But not good for real hearts play. Cards not dealt randomly. The outcomes of the games are controlled by the software and the online guides. Not good for serious hearts play.
The best out the for individual or online play. Great stuff.
Id give 5 stars if not for multiple crashes on iPad all the time lately. Shows login error. Sometimes this happens 10 or 15 times in a row. This happens on all hardwood pro games.

Love s… So much fun even when we lose. Sometimes we play on line now we lose a lot more those people must be professional cause they are hard to beat. Maybe we havent played long enough. Someday.
In the hard difficulty mode of single play, we caught the game cheating twice, the first time it didn’t add 26 points to the lowest players score, but it did add it to the other two players when we shot the moon. The second time we led with a four of clubs and got the queen of spades when none of the players had any clubs, but in the same hand the last card of the player to the left was the queen of spades.
We have always enjoyed this game, it’s fun to play and easy to use.
Great program to pass the time…
We love this whole package; we’re especially impressed by the beautiful graphics. (Only reason we don’t give 5 stars is that sometimes the AI opponents make really dumb, self-defeating moves, which takes away from the challenge.) And fair warning: the online community you can play with is pretty intense!
Then this is the place for you! Great app. Our family and we have used hardwood hearts for years.

Fun and social with really good players.
Been playing this version of Hearts for years. It’s managed to stay fresh. Our only complaint is that it really doesn’t understand how to play with the Jack of Diamonds as plus 10.

Have been playing for a while and really enjoy it. We do agree with the other reviewer who about the queen of spades. But we guess actual humans make dumb plays too!
We do love this game and enjoy both the partner and single player modes. But the play of the queen of spades sometimes defies logic – a player will discard a heart while holding the singleton queen, and then eat it on the next play.
Can’t believe we’re the first to review this game! We’ve played hardwood hearts for PC years and years ago. It was a great little game then just as it is here on iPad.

We had the Mac version of this game for years. This is a nice version of that game. AI competitors are pretty good. It’s an oldy but goody for us. We think they should change the system to utilize game center.
Don’t make our mistake. We went ahead and spent the money despite the other reviews. We have played thousands of on-line Hardwood Hearts games with the PC version and enjoyed it. The IPAD version is much more expensive and has fewer features as everything is now extra cost. It is difficult to tell the hearts from the diamonds on the cards and to change decks costs money. The instructions say that if you own the PC version you get a special deal when registering. We never saw such a deal. On top of that, they auto renew this now quite expensive game, but don’t include instructions on how to prevent the auto renewal. We most assuredly did not intend to sign up for a lifetime of cost with no ability to stop it. This game is a poor value. Don’t buy it.
We were a big fan of hardwood hearts, and we were slightly let down by the V2 release, where Silver Creek succumb to the general trend and started charging for miscellaneous items. Quite disappointed of the iPad version, as it keep crashing when joining a multiplayer game (yes, we have rebooted, yes we have reinstalled – just badly coded)
Graphics are cute but gameplay gets boring fast. App costs money and then they charge for addons too? No thanks.
