We get so tired of the same type of adventure game. These are so difficult to find so when we do Im so happy. The story is engaging, characters are funny. Now we did do some cheating via google, but Im not proud. We just like the freshness in every aspect of the game. Also the duration of the game is so long that it was so well worth the price. We started with the lite version and there was no question we were going to get the upgrade. If youre ready for something different, this game is for you.
We enjoy the game. It is very hard but we paid for whole game and got hints. Nice feature. We too am crashing every time we try adding a second flower beat and cannot play any more.
Maybe Im missing something but it seems like this game is tap, tap, tap, listen to them talk, tap, tap, tap, more talk. What am we missing? So far its boring. Ill give higher rating if it gets more interesting.

We Love Point & Click Adventure Games. We've played all the Runaway Series games & even bought "Yesterday" from trial but it was way too short for the cost. So far this game is interesting but one thing bugs us….the music is TOO LOUD and dialog TOO LOW with no way to adjust it. The music just bugged us after awhile & we HAD to keep it loud or the dialog was too low. At least make it even. Sadly, it's the only thing really stopping us from buying the full game. Also, is the main girl REALLY crazy in this or what? We can't figure out how someone who acts so nuts, OFTEN speaking gibberish…etc… Established such a good career.
We enjoyed the game, but it would not let us upgrade to the full version we. The app. We had to go download the regular version,many it is taking forever to load.
A clever and amusing game to play. App downloaded, launched and completed the game without any issues on our iPad.
We're a huge fan of the Runaway series. This one fits the same exciting mold. Can't wait to buy the full version.
We think this is a great game. We purchased the game through the lite version because we got so involved in the game and wanted to continue the story. The solutions to a few of the puzzles can seem a bit disconnected but the conservative hint system can get you back on track with out just giving you the answer. The animation is great and the sounds and voice acting are very well done as well. We would recommend this game to anyone that likes the old 90's style point and click adventures. There was a loading problem after iOS 7 but it has finally been repaired and we can finally finish the game.
Looove this game and we're still not even done with it. Our one issue is it's pretty constant crashing and freezing. Aside from that it's a solid story with a great cast of characters. The graphics are also well done and we are engaged to keep playing.
Although we had a few glitches here and there, which we solved by closing and restarting the app without losing any progress, we had tons of fun with this game. We paid for the full version and feel like it was well worth the money.
Lite is great and enjoyable but we cant continue the story bec of the white screen that appears every time we try the full.
The Lite version is a great game, but we spent $5.99 for the full game and it doesn't work!!!! Please fix.

This is by far the best game we have ever played. Full of humor, mystery, puzzles and adventure, and awesome sound effects and graphics! Love the twist at the end … Made us feel like we were a character in a book, a movie, a play, and a game all at the same time. Our only regret is that we finished the game. More please.

The lite version itself is both hard and funny. It also is quite long and wont end too quickly. The puzzles do require a little more brain power and you must remember that you can drag pieces in your inventory over each other to combine them. That may be the most important thing you need to remember in order to get through the game without cheats! Good luck.

While we're not too far into the game, the humor and story are already great.
We can't figure out how to solve Dans part of the crime. We have all of the items but we can't figure out how to find out where Liz is from his perspective. Help please.
The game is cute so far. The only thing that we have a problem with is the touch. You have to tap pretty hard to get anything to register and because of this you miss a lot of dialog. Still playing the lite version so far but wii probably buy the upgrade.
We love the graphics, and. We like the humor in the game. The game crashes every 10 minutes. With that said, we would't pay for the full game because we don't know if it too will crash constantly. We love the Runaway series so we were excited about this game… :(.
It won't load we deleted almost everything an it still won't load please fix so we can try AND MAYBE buy it.
We see there was a review in July saying they had a white screen too. We guess the makers don't care if we can't play the game and were out our money. Buy at your own risk. We've seen the game if it worked we'd give a five star.
After two downloads, numerous reboots, and even deleting other apps to make more space, it loads to a whit screen and stays there. If there was a zero star option, we would use it.
We love the games put out by Numerical Pipeline, but we can't see the game on this one…it's a blank white screen. We want to buy the full version, however, we are not going to unless we know for certain this won't happen again. PLEASE FIX.
We waited a long wait to play this game, and it won't even start up. It's just a blank white screen. We restarted the game and our iPad 4, but still we get nothing. We really wanted to play this game too, and found it to look very interesting. We probably would have bought the actual game if this demo was a hit, but it won't even start up,, so we guess that means we're not meant to play this game after all. What a bummer.

We're really attracted to the art in this game, so imagine our disappointment when, after a long wait (it's a big download), all it gives us is a blank white unresponsive screen! Very strange…iPad games are usually so reliable. We tried a hard restart of our iPad Air (with latest iOS), but it made no difference. Even tried deleting the game and re-downloading it from iCloud, but no joy. We would have tried downloading from iTunes, as suggested by the developer, but can't figure out how to do that. Apparently iTunes never heard of it, or any other games. So Hollywood Monsters Lite is a nonstarter for us. We probably would have gone for the full game after trying the Lite version, but after wasting all this time for nothing, that's not going to happen. Doesn't this developer test its products.
The game doesn't work, deleted and redownloaded almost 2Gb! Still doesn't work, will not buy full version if the lite version doesn't even start.
So apparently we're not the only one witnessing a blank white screen of nothingness. This game seems fascinating and all the other ones we've played by this company is, but we can't even get the thing to start. So of course we're not buying the game if the lite one doesn't work.
We were enoying this game until we upgraded our iPad to ios 7. Now we get a blank white screen after the splash screen. And Bulkypix will not reply when we ask for help. Shame on them for still selling the game without warning people. It's been months that this has been a problem and they haven't updated the app in more than a year. Reviews for their other apps mention the same problem with the white screen, with no updates from the developer.

The description says "compatible with iPad 2 and up," and "requires iOS 5.0 or higher." It's April 2014, and we're running the latest iPad the iPad Air, iOS 7. We had already read about other people having problems with the game, and we thought that the solution was to restart our iPad, and make sure we're running nothing else at all, before starting the game. We have done that a couple times now, and each time the same thing happens when we start the game: we see some kind of title screen for 1 or 1.5 seconds, and then we see nothing but a white screen. We can't see how to give this anything but the lowest rating, after we spent the time downloading it and now it does nothing at all. Small correction: After watching the white screen do nothing for about a minute, we tried tapping it a couple times. A pop-up opened, asking us to "confirm" that we wanted to buy the game for $5.99. Our options were "Buy" and "Cancel." we chose Cancel, and then the game went back to a solid white screen, until we finally quit. It's too bad, because this looks like a game we would love to try.
Would be nice if we could check it out but we have the white screen of death every time we try to go into it. Won't pay if we can't even get into this lite version. Please fix.
First off we had to delete almost 4gb of stuff to download a 1.6gb game. Really ridiculous. Second, once we did get it to download it shows nothing but a white screen and ads. When we open the app it does momentarily show the title shot, but once it loads up it pops up an ad then goes to a white screen with ads on the bottom. Please fix.
Won't load we hope the people well fix It or we won't down load SOOOOOOOOOOOO FIX IT.
