Community Insight:
Awesome game is there any way you guys could add a permadeath option.
You guys know how to create an addictive and fun game!! Great job.
These guys are great, everything they make is nostalgic and time tested fun.
We were playing the game took us an 1hr or so to beat the but we do and it said ERROR CANT FIND ENAMY This means we had to quit and restart the game up have to fight the Boss again FIX DIS PLZ.
This game is amazing. It looks stupid but once you start playing it, it gets addicting.
We love this game, its massive, its only 2.99 for the full game, its kind of like binding of isaac but not, its well worth the $3. Their other games are amazing too. Like all of them are fantastic.
Towelfight 2 definitely deserves some widespread recognition. It is not too far off from a mobile Binding of Isaac. Except less disturbing… Maybe.
What a game. Love the duel stick action and animation. Way more than we asked for in a game. Win.
Awesome binding of Isaac style game.
We can't say enough good things about the game itself; besides this the update has ruined the game. The developers decided to slop on a 2.99 paywall after we paid them 2-3 dollars before when the game was first released. This removes newly added ads that pop up at random times way too often and are extremely disorienting. We know they are offering the game for free now, and that's great for new players, but for people that adopted the game early and previously paid for it, it's very disappointing. We're not sure if we'll continue to play with these new additions. Or if we'll ever download another app from Butterscotch Shenanigans because it's that disappointing to us.
We bought this game a while back and absolutely loved it… Now they've gone and made it a "free to play" game and slapped ads on top even for the customers who bought it. No way in hell we're paying you guys TWICE for the game we already bought to right to play ad-free.
We used to love this game it was really addicting ur in their update they added pop-up adds and they are very annoying. Please remove.
We really used to enjoy this game but now they've added pop-up ads and a 2.99 paywall. This is very upsetting because we've already payed 2.99 for the game when it was first released. We should be able to continue without paying another 2.99. We're very disappointed in Butterscotch Shenanigans.
How is it that we purchased this game and now your trying to extort more money out of us to remove ads????? Have you ever heard of grandfathering existing customers whe have already purchased your game and shown support. Either give us a refund or take your stupid adds off.
Cross game perks don't work unless you "butter up" for both games, so 6+ bucks just to use 1 of the very few feature they include. Use to be one of our favorite games. Ads freeze our phone as well. Thanks for showing your true colors guys.
Crashes everytime we hit play :(.
We already paid for the game years ago when it was a full great game and now we have to pay again for a broken one(F2P). Why hurt the people who have been supporting you. Fix this please.
This game is sooo good. Play it now!!! Also play all of Butterscotch Shenanigans other games. Now.
This group of guys are amazing from the whole bu tteeeer scotch shenana giiiins to the games they make is all so clever . Its a happier version of binding of Isaac . We even watched these guys movie about the loss they experienced . This isnt a mobile game, more of an all platforms kinda games like their others Ive played . Good work guys, best devs out there for this type of stuff.
We recommend this game to anyone who likes throwing balls of animals at things.
Its one of the best games we played before we think we heated the game less than a day.
This game is really fun but when you get to the purple marsh of death it gets insanely hard so maybe make an easy mode or practice mode.
PLZ PUT MULTIPLAYER UP TO 2 or 4 players your choice make new abilitys and animals like an alien.
Great game we will rate 5 if you add controller support because the controls are terrible.
Would be a lot more fun if clunky touch controls werent killing us. And theres no such thing as touch controls that arent clunky for a game like this.
No controller support….. Our humble opinion but any twin stick shooter is a must to support this. Otherwise if you are a person that doesnt mind holding your iPad and having to move your thumbs 3 inches for each direction change its a great game.
We don't have that much to say but it's awesome.
This was the first butterscotch shenanigans game Ive ever played and we were so impressed with the care to detail and story put into this game, from the meme-orable characters to the large map and surprising amount of weapons and augments for such, makes it for a time consuming, but enjoyable and memorable experience. We also enjoy that this company connects its games to where achievements can earn you bonuses and extra missions in other games on your bscotch id thingy, something they never really explain but we feel it should be highlighted because its really cool.
AWESOME GAME ITS BORING AT FIRST BUT IT GETS WAAAAY BETTER ONCE U PLAY FOR 15 MINS THE ENDING IS REALLY FUNNY.
You three brothers ate bs make some of the best games ever and Crashlands is actually our second fave game and this game is close up there too.
If you loved Towelfight 1, you're gonna love Towelfight 2.
Fun and funny gameplay, unless youre an animal/magical creature, then you might not. We played all of Butterscotch Shenanigans games that are on the AppStore and we recommend them all.
This game is a procedurally generated whirlwind of flying animals and chainsaws. Occasionally when we stop firing for a moment we can briefly gain a moment of respite from endless explosions and unicorns flying in circles only to begin shooting again. It's like a bullet hell with animals instead of bullets. And then also bullets. Good stuff: + Lots of fun. + Lots of places to go. + Lots of enemies + Lots of animals to throw. + Moderately challenging. Not so good stuff: – Game asks to review the game every time you go back to the home panel. Super annoying. – Can lose track of what's what on the screen really easily. Would be nice if enemies had a red outline or something. – Magic enchantments don't last nearly long enough. – Can't actually shoot towels (yet).
Another great game from bscotch.
We also take stars away for being too annoying about giving ratings, which this was.
Thanks bs you have so many good games :).
Lots of fun and lots of interesting ammunition.
This game, and all of your other games have changed our life on our phone!!! We didn't butter up because we wasn't allowed to D;.
So we came across this game while searching for The Binding of Isaac, and as it was described by several reviewers to be similar to said game we decided to give it a shot. And boy am we glad we did. TF2 is similar to The Binding of Issac in terms of gameplay, though far easier than that game. Its an action rpg, but though its been described as a rogue-lite by some we wouldnt really agree with that assessment. The levels aren't procedurally generated; the map is fixed and when you die you start at the same beginning screen, but every screen youve beaten on the map will be devoid of enemies when you respawn (and when you backtrack through them). The loot consists of a bunch of different animals that you can shoot as balls of ammo. Each animal/ball is a different type of weapon basically, they all have different effects. And each one has two upgrades that can be found or purchased that affect their abilities. There are also a bunch of Relics that can be found that supposedly have beneficial effects when used, but we cant figure out how to activate them for the life of us lol. The game is very addicting and we wholeheartedly recommend it. We paid the $3 to get rid of ads personally, but it is a free game and its not a necessary purchase.
Yes, "challenging" means difficult. But who cares when it's so entertaining.
Ever since we found the Butterscotch games Ive never been the same….shooting in this one is a tad bit hard but nonetheless we still support them by buttering it up. EXTRA BUTTER PLZ.
Be ready to run for your life! You are outnumbered and out gunned so keep moving and throw your weapons as fast as you can. LOL. Screaming does help.
It's an appealing game, a bit comparable to the binding of Isaac. We enjoy the humor and the gameplay massively, but… About the gameplay. The fire 'button' being only the four cardinal directions. We understand this, but we feel like it would be a bit more fluid if you simply made it a circle and you would simply change direction upon reaching said fourth of the circle. Otherwise, it's a beautiful game, and we're still leaving a five star review.
Game that is more epic than The Iliad.
Fun game, kinda weird… Butter up! Also… A bit too hard to really enjoy. We make a little money, then we're killed. Not sure how we'll ever make enough to buy anything :(.
Has lots of funny jokes, good gameplay, good controls, and a wide variety of items to use in game. Love your games.
Can play for free if you like or support them to get some nice in game perks. Funny and very original.
This game is a fairly simple twin stick shooter that has a lot of customization options and great comedy.
This game really reminds us of the binding of Isaac but it is unique in its own way and we love it! One thing we have to say is that we wish this game was on pc like crashlands was because the controls would be a lot easier otherwise this game is perfect.
This simple game is so fun, we hope you have a great career as game developers so yeah. P.S did it for the review.
