Unless you buy diamonds you wont be able to advance and build. NO opportunities to earn jewels or rewards. There is absolutely no time to win a compound play game without diamonds to extend time. Dont waste your time.

The most recent updates have made the game slow to load and refresh after challenges and it freezes and crashes way too often. Please fix the bugs, its getting much too frustrating to keep logging in again and again and again and again every game session. Jewels of Rome is the same.
This game keeps you interested and on track to keep going through your levels.
We used to love this game the last 4 days it won't work and closes on its own! If it continues to crash we will uninstall it.
We're disappointed that the game has removed the ability to buy 100 hammers at a time. The greed factor is starting to creep into the game and it's destroying our enjoyment of playing this game.
Our friend teases us when we play this (often) that Im playing The Losers Game because its rigged to make you lose. Over and over, the only way to win levels is to use crystals (5 more moves takes sandals, which cost 5 crystals, and buying 5 crystals costs about 50 cents, 7 crystals for 5 more moves is another 70 cents! Per level! And levels only last 3 or 4 minutes!). To be fair, some levels are winnable after a try or two without buying help. And eventually, EVENTUALLY, the algorithm will deliver suddenly better pieces, and an impossible level becomes easily winnable. Well, we refuse to spend 50 cents or $1.20 on a 3-4 minute level, so we just keep trying, over and over, literally bottom line, its still fun, if you can laugh at yourself for playing a rigged-to-lose game.
When we get to play the game we enjoy it. However, today it has crashed 7 times. We have restarted our iPad, cleared memory. It doesnt seem to matter what we change. The game opens, then flashes to a white screen that informs us we appear to be offline. Please reconnect to the internet and try again. Then crashes to our Home Screen. Most of the time. Sometimes it just freezes there. Do the developers have any suggestions? Similar problems with Sherlock, but not nearly as prevalent.
This game crashes every other minute. Completely annoying. It freezes, or closes out all by itself. Most aggravating!!!! When it freezes everything except the timer freezes. You have to close out reload and see that you have run out of free time. It will freeze prior to a commercial ad selling in app trinkets. It locks ups and closes itself down constantly. Save yourself the aggravation.
Ive been playing the game for a long time and loved it but after the recent update, it wont stop crashing after we tap Play. Ive tried restarting the phone;reinstalling from the app store as well as offloading. Nothing seems to help. Must be a bug on the latest update.

We are unsure of why but to start a newclub challenge without the update is insane. And why do some folks have it and others do not. This sloppy at best.

Please stop with the pop-ups to buy more stuff. Its becoming extremely annoying in the middle of playing a game. Im at the point where Im almost going to just cancel the game and forget about it. Please stop if we want something, or need something, we will buy it when Im ready.
We love this game, but can no longer play it! We downloaded the latest update and now the game wont load. It just sits there telling us to Wait a little longer. Eight hours later and its still trying to load. Disappointing.

We absolutely love your games, and we play seven of them on a daily basis, and we have for a few years now since Covid. However, the recent sounds that most of your games are now making after every move, we make is so annoying because we enjoy hearing the music and now you have added these silly sounds on top of them including the geckos. Is there a way that we can turn off? Those sounds and just listen to the music? We know you can turn off the music, but we would prefer the music over these annoying sounds. Thanks for making great games and your graphics and animation are spot on and very artistic. You have very artistic people that draw everything including the baskets that we win for each event. Thank you so much.
We really like the game but there are to many icons which are too small and they dont explain what they do. We cant get help matching gems. Otherwise we would have given it a higher rating.
We love all these games except the ones with oil! These games are fun and challenging. We play them numerous times a day. We guess you could say Im addicted to them. Its also expensive to play.

We enjoy this game but we find its a little confusingits saying and pointing somewhere and then we try to play it and then it says something else. So it makes us confused of what to do next.

This was enjoyable until about level 13. Then it became too difficult to win any of the puzzles. We dont know about you, but we actually like to feel like we can occasionally win a puzzle.

Im not sure whats going on but the game doesnt work anymore. It worked yesterday but today, no. Every time we click on it, it opens then completely shuts down. Its all up to date so unless you guys did something yesterday, the game wont let us open it.
This is a great match 3 with challenging replay-ability. There are plenty of opportunities to earn helpful bonus items and gems through events and completing stories, no need to spend money unless you are impatient or you really want to buy something. The Union feature and events have been a fun way to interact with other players. Support is responsive when there are game bugs.
The story is good but it takes way too long for the energy to recharge. We cant keep up with the limited time events or the guild quests.
Our device will not update the new event.
We really like the game play and story lines… Unfortunately, after the newest guild event started, the game immediately crashes on our iPad. Hopefully, that gets resolved soon.
We are a level 88, so we like this game. For some odd reason the game keeps crashing after the Royal Tunnel part is explained.
We usually love the game, and the special events, but the latest update keeps crashing game when the 2 day event pop up comes up and we cant get past the start screen.
We really like the stories. You follow the Greek Gods and people of the town after theyve been sacked by invaders . Easy to play in the beginning, but like most, gets harder as you go along. Still fun.

We been on the games for a while now and have learned that it costs a lot to get ahead in these games. Rewards especially for leveling up a few and could be a lot better.
We enjoy the game but it stopped loading for us. We had deleted it and waited a few days before installing. We will update this review if we can get it to open again so we can play it again.

Poor, terrible, ad system on all G5 games. We realize the game is "free", but blank ads, numerous ads, completely obsolete ads, and forcing you to the stores multiple times in a 30 minute session is not how to run a business. We have been sent to the store for EVERY G5 game and we're not interested and the one game we play is getting to be too bothersome. Your patten robotic response to each occurrence is the same. Just stop the madness or reduce the number of ads. We really enjoyed playing this game until we got the notice that we had used 90% of our unlimited Wi-Fi data! Its too bad really, because the game really is fun. Educational too! We read other reviews about the amount of data the game consumes but thought id be fine because we have unlimited Wi-Fi. Who knew! There is a limit to unlimited.

We like the game its entertaining. At least its not just a match three every level the game boards are different and its a fun challenge and there are no commercials/ads or distractions.
