This game, while like many others, is also not like those same others. If Kingdom Rush has a child, then this game would be that child. Its so nostalgic for us when we play this, and we just love how its different from the other games like it. It may be similar to many games, but at the same time, its very much more different. Good job, game developers. You made a masterpiece of a sequel, and that masterpiece, is called Kingdom Defense 2.
It has good graphics and we barely stared playing gust a couple hours ago and Im playing it until 12:00am.
Like with so many games its the old story with pay to win aspects but the game is still plenty available to those who just want some more kingdom defense.
Hello, we’ve been playing this game for an hour and its been pretty fun. Theres five towers and they all have unique traits, you can choose towers that are ranged and ones that are ground based. Our personal favorite so far on the fourth level is the dragon tower.
Ever play kingdom rush its similar but in many ways better okay difficulty meh graphics but fun gameplay we like the heroes abilities and having more than one.
Love the game but we’ve beaten lvl 18 like 20 times and it wont progress to the complete screen.
Kingdom defense is a decent TD game. We like being able to use multiple heros which as far as we know is new to this genre of games. As you progress it does feel like purchases become necessary to continue to progress. But then again Im not a hardcore player or strategist. We kind of expect in app purchases to be necessary at this point. We know it shouldnt be the norm but we also dont mind supporting the people who make a game we enjoy playing. On a side note level 18 is bugged and does not end. After all waves are cleared game does not progress to victory screen just keeps running with no enemies. Please fix this. We have not spent a dime! Its a challenge to grind and see if you can beat the pay out of it!
This game is ok. Its a little copycat but thats not the worst of its problems. It needs some serious balancing updates and you shouldnt have to buy new characters to even do good.
The game seems fun but the deal and music is to cartoony for the series the old one felt like a army this one feels like stick figures.
Every hero is ridiculously expensive and it really wants you to spend money to have success in the game. Good game tho.
We really like this game but at level 18, it freezes once we finished all the waves the hero Im suppose to fight doesnt come.. We even tried and played it over two more times hoping it was just our phone that was acting up. But the same thing happens each time. So we cant move on with the game.
This is a good tower defense game. Some of the levels are pretty hard, but we made it to level 18 without any in app purchases (other reviews say you cant make it past level 8 without them). The second map is very difficult, but then the third map is much easier… Which Id say is bad planning on the designers part. Level 18 doesnt work, as others have said. We’ve beat the level multiple times, but the boss does not come down, so you cant actually finish the level and move onto the next map. Unfortunately Ill be deleting the app and no longer able to play since we cant move on.
Seems like it needs to cost as much as a Console game in order to get everything out of it.
This game has great Mechanics, is easy to navigate, and ultimately enjoyable to play, but it is also a less refined rehashing of the iron hide game, kingdom rush.
The game is very good and very challenging, but when we bought the shaman king and the pioneer with cash it didnt unlock the characters.
Similar gameplay to the kingdom rush games, which can be fun with good gameplay and graphics. However, in this game, you have to grind TONS more than other games, or do in-app purchases just to get past the first few levels! And when its only the first few levels, it gets way too repetitive way too quickly to replay the same 3-4 basic levels again and again just to level up characters and to get basic power-ups and in-play resources.
The game is way too difficult, even on easy. We like a good challenge but its not even fun. We bought a bunch of gems but still cant advance. Also there are some annoying spelling/grammatical errors. Wouldnt recommend.
Its a obvious copy of a better series. Unfortunately they chose to ignore the balanced game design in favor of loot crates and pay to win in-game money.
Theres no way to increase your tower damage. Upgrading them with stars only increases atk speed, range, or the defense of infantry. But by board 5, your towers are way too weak to kill anything even in the 1st wave of monsters.
We have just played kingdom defense 1 for days and preordered this game. Happens to realize the setting is exactly the same except for graphics. Disappointed.
Kingdom Defense is a excellent tower defense game but the Inn-app purchase does not always work. We spent some money on a hero and the program did not have us our hero. We tried to write the developer but no response. In this game, you watch a video/ad so you can get an advantage in the game. It usually works but The Command and Conquer video/ad you watch also freezes up the game after you watch it. You need to restart the program and you wasted you time since it does not credit you. We will give this game 4.5 stars if they fix these two items. Right now, we give it a 2? To a 2.5 stars rating.
Level 19 boss doesnt unlock after completing last wave. Remains frozen. Made a purchase got charged never received Hero.
Whats level 19 like? We guess ill never know.
Complete garbage…. Its a ripoff of Kingdom Rush full of adds and heavy charges (p2p). Dont download!
This game is bogus. Realm Defense is far superior in every way. Nice try copy cats.
Crashes about 2 out of every 5 times we try to beat a level on our Iphone 6s. Which is a really big disappointment when we’re 20 mins in and about to win.
To the devs.. The flying enemies smfh.. The towers that can shoot flying enemies dont prioritize them.. And the targeting does not work.. The only way to tank a flying enemy is with the flying hero.. And that would be just one of the 10 that spawn..
This game is so difficult that we can do anything, but we’ll be back, it’s possible to say that from step 5 onwards, they will not take 3 more stars, and now we’re reaching Stage 6, you have to update the game because it’s so hard to enjoy the game.

The game is advertised as free, however the difficulty (even at easiest) of it is designed to be pay 2 win. After couple of levels you have no choice but to either make a purchase or repeat the same grind over and over just to try and collect items that may help support you in the fight. Other that that the gameplay is pretty decent. The heroes are fun. The leveling system is decent. If there was a way for free players to enjoy the game more it would be rated much higher but as many stated difficulty of this game was designed to trick you into buying packages and heroes in order to progress.
Pay to play – even when you pay $14 for a hero you still have to watch endless advertisements and grind. Rip off. Pass.
Unfortunately this game does not deliver the way the past games have. The difficulty is WAY too high and its undoubtedly designed that way so you have to purchase gems to combat the absurd challenge. This proves even for the easy difficulty. Cannot pass level 8 no matter how many adds we watch or heros we have. We hate to be that person to say it but, do not download.
Impossible to win even on easy mode without spending money. Deleting. Dont waste your money. Also a ton of ads even though the game is $4.99.
So many bugs in the game. For example, When we finished 14 waves enemies in 18th level, the Boss is still in the Frozen and cant pass it.
Broken IAPs. Had an offer for a discount, spent the money, and nothing unlocked. The gameplay is fun, if not extremely hard and pushes you towards IAPs. Pretty aggravating that they take your money but fail to deliver the rewards. ** UPDATE – Uninstalled and reinstalled… Lost everything. There is no Game Center support. There is no support for Xs Max. The restore IAP function is broken. Avoid this game until the devs get their act together. IT IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. This game is a complete rip off of Kingdom Rush, and the reviews that give this any more than 2 stars are troll reviews from the developer.
Riddled with ads. No way to remove them. Heros are useless unless you opt for the 20$ ones Id imagine. We refuse to buy them. You cannot get past level 8 without in app purchases of some kind. Which we refuse to do. Trust us. We’ve played a lot of tower defense games. This one is intended to rob you. We’ve played kingdom rush and others all the way on elite difficulties without in app purchases. This one is unbeatable on easy after level 8.
Fun to play but its identical to the first game. WTH? No thought went in to how to make this better than the original, just get another game out there so it can make some money without spending any money to make an original game. Very disappointing.

This game is a TOTAL ripoff of the Kingdom Rush series and nobody should play this game. Check out Kingdom Rush. This game is complete trash and should take out IMMEDIATELY from the App Store.
Paid a little for a hero and never unlocked. Also needed to reinstall the game and lost all our progress. Awaiting response from developers.
In app purchases are not applied. When we went to report the problem to Apple we were directed to the developer but their messaging system also does not work. There is no way to contact the developer for resolution. Waste of time and money.
About 8 hours of playtime put into it, they are very microtransaction heavy. Everything they have going on somehow involves you either watching an ad or soliciting you to buy gems. Also relatively difficult, not in a challenging sense but in a buy a hero to make the game even sense. Thats just the feeling we get from it.
Just about impossible to win on any difficulty without paying money. On top of that they force you to watch adds constantly just to get extra lives / coins that you absolutely need if you want to get anywhere CLOSE to winning.
Its impossible to beat past level 8 unless you buy heros. Waste of time!! Trust us, dont even bother. Plus the ads leading up to level 9 (the impossible level) are overwhelming.
Basically identical to Kingdom Rush but a poorly made knockoff. It also forces grinding by making levels actually impossible until you have enough upgrades, which you cant get without purchasing gems or spending hours grinding. Not worth it.
They have ruined this game. There are numerous artificial difficulty barriers to get you to pay for gems to win. You pay $5 and still HAVE to watch adds. They turned this franchise into cash grab piece of trash. Not to mention recycled champions and maps. Where is the new content. Just despicable.

We dont like being this guy we thought it would be different than the first but its the same maps same order same set up just slightly different order. Ill still probably play the game and see if anything has actually changed but if youve played the first youre gunna know its no different besides the graphics, good job guys. Pffft new game ha.
