Best game in the whole collection in our opinion Ive played multiple games and we always find ourselves coming back to this one eventually its a timeless classic we just wish they would expand on it more because theres only so much you can do but the gameplay is amazing.
This game comes out of our childhood and we love it so much we see that they still make even more games and even came out with a Pocket Academy 3. We wish they made another like this even Kariobotica.
Ive really enjoyed this game on our iPhone 4 about 10 years ago. But this time doesnt have a nice experience when the game is laggy when in the battle scence.

Once you start playing a kairosoft game you cant stop until you perfect your run. We love the games so much boxing gym story ninja village and game dev story are top tier in our book Ive sunk almost 300 hours combined with these games. The UI is very small and very janky but for the amount of content they fit into one game its totally acceptable. Very few developers put in the love and care kairosoft puts into crafting each of their games. Ninja Village is the magnum opus. Not only did they add in an entire building sim tycoon but they put in Roguelike elements by giving you a time limit and not only allowing but encouraging reruns. The other part of the game is an army fighting sim with strategy elements. Not only do they pull off these mechanics in such smooth mind blowing fashion with very unique inspiring and funny pixel art but they even added in a map conquering mechanic to the game. Kairosoft seriously just trying to categorize this game into a genre would do it a severe injustice! The genre is simply: kairosoft. We love you guys we love your games we are about to go check socials and see if yall are still around.
Please create Sequel or add lots of extra content. We can see this being 20 times bigger at least. Way too good. Thank you for this masterpiece.
One of our favorite mobile games growing up. It would be AWESOME to see you guys make a game similar to ninja village but with SPARTANS.
We played this game when it first came out and we loved it ! We beat the game in maybe a weeks time and we were actually kind of sad when we beat it. Now Im downloading it again and Im gonna beat it again.
In our time that we have played this game out of all the other ones really drew our attention to the company itself. This game had all of the things that we were looking for in a game very intriguing and fun game and we loved it as soon as we played it through and through. Could it have been better yes it could have but what game now a days couldnt be better than what it came out as. All we would have to say is a better drawn out battle system a better story but besides that the mechanics and everything else about this game really still draws out the best.
Definitely old school gaming, there is a lot of grinding, some luck, and it isn't a mindless easy game. A few times you will probably hit a wall. Have to figure out what makes the city better and what warriors are most important. It could be better, we would like to have the ability to customize people, zoom out of the screen to see better in the landscape position, and a little smarter worker ai so they don't walk all over town to make some goods. Overall, very fun, old school Kiarosoft. It is similar to a mix of Edo Village/Grand Prix. not impossible like other reviews say, lol.

Ive been playing these games for a long time and we love this one the most. The combat feels fine and building your army up and steam rolling is fun as hell! Also managing your village is fun as well though they could add more villagers. This game gives you a good combination of a few of the game mechanics that they are well known for.

The idea of this game is great. However, the way it was executed was not as good as it could be. The village management is ok. Though it could be better, we understand that this game is not primarily a management game. Conquest in the game is pitiful. The other AI warlords dont ever move their armies, and on the battle map, there is almost no tactical management. You can only control which unit your archers focus on. And even then, they never really hit that target. Troop recruitment is kinda wierd. Its messured by a number that we have no idea what it correlates to, and the max your army can be is 999. It also confuses us how the other warlords can have an army greater than 999. There isnt much replayability because its the same senario every single time, the same villagers, the same skills…it gets boring after you learn all the exploits. The game gives you 16 in game years to unite Japan under the Shogun and defeat the end game boss. We have NEVER done this. By this point in the game, we always have at least 7 more warlords to vassalize. Because the game is just really grindy, you can never beat it within the time given. At the end of the 16 years, the game scores you based on your treasury, # of villagers, visitors, etc. Though you can still play to complete the game after 16 years, it doesnt count toward your score. We stopped caring about it on our third play through. We honestly dont think that this game is worth the money you have to pay to get it. Its only fun for the first few play throughs, and its impossible to beat the game in the time given.
We truly find this game to be very fun.
Attempted replaying after end game, completely lost interest and deleted after losing 20+ straight battles to armies and gangs that we out number and outgun..because they had a single hold out magically survive compared to 75% plus of of our troops still standing. Arbitrary time limits and weak win/draw system make this game a boring grind fest to complete everything.
Not very good we got far in it and like dungeon village we completed just about everything in about 4 days. We don't think Ima buy anymore kairo games at first we were impressed by them when we played SkyforceU and the pirate ship one and Grand Prix story 2 but since we've been paying 5 bucks for this one and dungeon village the two which we were most interested in they were Both letdowns so that's 10 bucks we've wasted on two games we've basically finished in the same 4 days we've had them both.!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FAIR WARNING.
When we say little we're talking about the 8-bit looking graphics but otherwise these games are worth hours upon hours and great to kill time.
This is our favorite Kairosoft game. We repeatedly come back to it. Beat it. Delete it. The a few months later we'll do it again. This… Do this game more.
We were playing this game for straight 3 days. The game mechanism is well build and we enjoyed playing sim city and dragon force like at the same time. Crazy addicting and we are looking forward to play next game from this company.

This game needs something to do when u finish the story + sould add Narato.
We're not really into the ninja genre so that may be part of it but this game seems to be lacking a bit in things to do while waiting. Not as in depth as others. That being said, kairosoft games are by far the best out there.
It took us 100 years to finish the story. The only thing you can do after the story is play again. How fun.
We've played a lot of kairo games and this one is probably the best. You are more in control of the progress than other ones. But down side is just like other kairo games, which is low replay value.
Kairosoft is the best game company in the whole world we bought all the games but this is the best! We have an idea for a new game it's about soldiers and war, like you try to recruit troops to your squad and command them in the battlefield with cars helicopters plans and stuff like them. We would be very happy and people will like it if make our dreams come true by making this game! Keep up the good work.
This game is a really fun pass time and it's a little more involved at some points in the game, and you get to raise a huge army.
This game kind of just throws you into the fray. We were not able to raise our army enough to unify the "not Japan" land entirely (darn you Nobunaga…). It is extremely difficult to acquire enough capitol yo do things in this game so here are some tips for new players. Tips for players: – level up your work force as well as your warriors. They will move faster – always double up on your industry things. Put two stone depots next to a ours etc. As your workers level more they will finish tasks faster. – dont forget to recruit people to live there! – use the animals they give you in your army, its free labor! – always challenge the Shogun to battle to earn coin – analyze your soldiers strengths and weaknesses. The pink haired girl they give you at the beginning we used til the end she was that good as a soilder also she is arrow proof. – you have three turns to beat an army, it doesnt matter if there is only one person left on the other side it will be a "Draw" so just over compensate in your army for an easy win – as you beat armies the surrounding armies get stronger so we suggest to just grind and beat the bigger ones first.
Great game. One of the harder one for us to beat. We're addicted. We buy every game they make.

We love all of the games but they are getting expensive 4.99 is to much it should be at least 1.99.
It was really interesting to play and also you need to put in a lot of thinking about how you fight other army. We wish they have an online match making systems where we can fight other people:) definitely worth your money.

This game was amazingly fun despite it's fairly linear progression. It was nice to see Kairosoft break away from their traditional system for a little bit to make a game that was thoroughly engaging. Keep up the good work guys! We loved it.
This was an alright game we loved the theme im a sucker for ninja games.
A very nice town builder sim and strategy conquering game. Yes, the draws are frustrating, especially when there is under ten units left, but lets be honest, in battle, nothing is certain, and wasting supplies running down ten guys so you have true victory (or else risk them becoming a threat all over again) simply isn't feasible. 'Draw' is more credit than a lot of battle games give! This game has its own music but that will fade away if you like to play your own. Note! The move feature is unlocked later in the game, so if you need to change the layout to increase output, we suggest waiting or only destroying to rebuild in extreme cases of necessity.
We downloaded most of the kairosoft games and this one is awesome too. Good start awesome middle and the ending wasnt as good but this game is still awesome. Make more. Turn the new ones thats still japanese to english. Hurry please.

We really enjoy the mass battle npc set up. Eliminate the 3 round battle system. Better balance for making gold. Possibly control who goes where. There was no goal/ accomplishment. We were just going through the motions. We will finish with this, it is enjoyable, fun concept. Similar to a few others you have put out but good. Still the best are game dev and Grand Prix story. Still hoping for a sequel.
We were really waiting for this since there haven't been any game apps that attracted us for a while. Ninja village is addicting, but like the other reviewers said, it slows down towards the end. While it still doesn't beat hot springs or their dungeon village games, it was fun and deserves at least 4-5 stars. :).

This game like all of the others is addicting. You start small than grow a mighty empire. The battle animation is amazing conquering japan (if that is what it is) is awesome. There is little to say that is bad about it. It is indeed a yay. One more thing bring Game Dev Story 2 please and thank you.
We've been a big fan of Kairosofts games since Game Dev story, but we have to admit, the last few releases sort of didnt capture our interest. We're happy to say, however, that Ninja Village combines all the best elements of our favorite kairo games, and does away with some of the less appealing aspects of certain kairo releases. This is easily our favorite kairo release, so far, and we recommend it highly.
