We dont usually ever write reviews but knowing that we get very excited and addicted to the game. Other things that could help were more modes more characters and maybe an upgrade list for power ups we get during the matches.

Ever since we found this game out of boredom, we never put it down. Nothing fuels your anger like missing the ball, or losing in pro tour. The excitement you get from hearing ACE from the announcer is the best thing ever. One thing Im asking for, online multiplayer with friends, instead of one screen.
Passes the time and if u delete it all of your skins are still thier (as long as u download them)
Oh god. This game is weird. But in a good way. First, the gameplay is well tuned and feels amazing (Im an indie game designer, so we should know) and feels like PONG super smash bros. The sounds and characters, though… Unbelievable. Each character is obviously inspired by geek/90s culture (PONG paddle or Ms-DOS, anyone?) and each re-themes the game. There is a freakin incredible soundtrack, amazingly geeky SFX(the shield power up deactivating plays the PORTAL 2 cube placed noise) and is incredible… Our only question is why is this not on steam??? Because its THAT good… Fyi though the character crane drains your coins if you leave, which is not nice.
Its so good and the skill ceiling is pretty high. We honestly wish there was a pc version because we want to take other people on. This game would do amazingly well as a Free to Play game on steam. If you guys are still reading reviews please consider bringing it to steam. We would love to play this with a mouse. (Oh and it would be nice if supporters could port their characters to the pc version ;) )
We sit here and play it for like an hour straight every day, it definitely helps pass the time.
We usually never write reviews for apps or games but this one is awesome. Its like tennis, but wayyyy more fun, you can collect cute little characters, and you can play it with up to 4 people. We highly recommend anyone who gets bored with games gets this, it keeps us really busy. :)))
This is the best game ever it takes pong from 1980s and changes it to an even better game.
Game is okay. Touch controls need to be tweak to make easier to produce a power shot (fast slide) Computer does fast slide shot on demand when you get close to your high score but when we try to return using a fast slide shot only get a regular hit which the CPU smashes every time for the win.
You cant move without hitting the ball, we try to send the ball to the left but it hits it when we move toward it.
The reason we put 2 stars is not because the games bad but because the menu wont leave our screen so when we play a game the menu pops up saying our score and it messes up our game because we cant see and it gets annoying.
This app works very poorly on an iPad. Its decent on the phone.
This game is great and it is very fun. But dang it is hard. We think you should add difficulty settings to it.
This game is very stylish and is very awesome. It has been our favorite Laser Dog game so far.
Fast, fluid, easy to pick up and go. The enemy always manages to catch us off guard. Recommended if you want an intense game of tennis right in your pocket.
We got this game a few weeks ago but it is AMAZING. We have so much fun in not so fun situations. But there was a graphic glitch where the second skin of barnarnas hand is a placeholder instead of the chicken leg this is really annoying us so if you can fix it that would be GREAT thanks!!
So the games fun, so fun that we decided that we wanted to support the game by buying the pro tour thing it was 99cents, it came with 1k gold 100 free gold claw things, not sure what that is, a character, unlimited access to the pro tour game mode, and it would remove ads. We bought it got the character, 1k gold, and unlimited access to the pro tour mode. We still get ads and we have no clue what the 100 gold claw things were, tbh we dont really care about the gold claw thing, but we hate that it didnt remove ads its stupid we paid the 99 cents so the ads should be removed, thats the only issue we have. Games fun, besides getting scammed, its only 99 cents so we dont really care but its scummy nonetheless. 3/5.
The game was fun at first and a bit addicting but as soon as the tutorial ended the controls started not working. Each Time we would tap to hit the ball it would send us flying to the edge of the screen and hit there. Overall fun game idea would be five stars if controls worked.
Its seriously out of control. When starting out, youll be lucky to play for 15 seconds between 30 second ad breaks. As the title says, we had 6 30-second ad breaks in the 5 minutes we had the app open. Could be decent to play on the train, but we doubt Ill ever open the app again. Its absolutely shameful that this was an Editors Choice" app.
We play this daily – really fun to play during breaks at work. However, we had the bittersweet occurrence of obtaining two new characters from one grab of the prize machine… The rag doll/low grav physics of the machine knocked a character into the dispenser before what we actually grabbed was dropped into it… This bricked our game so we can no longer open it under our account. If the dev happens to read this, the error is Runtime error – bad argument #1 to pairs (table expected, got nil)
We got this game about a week ago and have become addicted! The cute graphics and simplicity make it one of the greatest mobile games we’ve ever played. We just reached 27th position on the daily scores and that goes to show how addicted we’ve become! We literally cant put this down!
Ok so this game is great! Cute graphics, simple gameplay, not overloaded with ads with a very reasonable price to remove said ads and other thing. Our only suggestions are that you maybe decrease the wait time for the ProTour we mean 7 hours is kinda ridiculous. Also maybe add multiplayer and a ranked leaderboard?
This game is the best we’ve played. With custom music for each character it is amazing.
Its pretty fun we like the action and the sounds.
This is a very casual game that’s easy to get the hang of, but it also does a lot of things right, which makes it fun to keep playing. The basic mechanic of moving your player with your finger and letting go to swing works remarkably well. It’s instinctive enough to let even the most casual player have fun with it immediately and lets more competitive players go for long runs and high scores. The game’s ads are not intrusive at all, giving you the option of watching a video only if you want an extra ball, but not forcing you to do anything that interrupts your playing. No ads between games and best of all no "energy" to have to earn, wait for or buy to play. It’s also very generous with unlocking new characters… We’ve been playing about 3 days and already have 16/25 without spending a penny. The characters themselves are only cosmetic, but with different accompanying playing field graphics and sound effects. It’s still an enjoyable longer term goal to earn them all and get them all various crowns (again purely cosmetic, no skill levels). The audio is fun and the music is cute and varied for each character. Lastly, there is a face-to-face multiplayer that lets 2, 3 or 4 players go at each other. All in all a great casual, non-annoying, rather addictive free game that would honestly be worth a couple of bucks if the developers chose to charge for it. Update: it’s nice that the developers added 14 new characters to give us longer term players some new goals, but the new ones are blatant re skins of the existing ones and not that compelling. Another update: gameplay remains the same except the added optional Pro Tour which we find impossible to get through even three levels. But the new three skins per character update introduced some bugs. First, several of the characters (P-799, PUK and Timmy) only really have two new skins, so the third one you unlock is really just a repeat of an earlier skin. The Dont Grind new skins have a red orb for a paddle that looks like a mistake…? Jake and Ash dont seem to have any new skins at all. And the PKTgrabber can be made to bug out in odd ways if you start the crane moving after dropping a prize in the chute but before it zooms in on the prize. You can make the new prize character, for example, flip upside down and you have to restart the app. Lastly, while scrolling through the characters, we could often choose skins to play with that we hadnt unlocked yet. And PKTKing always turns into AI when you scroll past him to Chuck or Robobob…

We loveeee PKTBALL because of the graphics and cartoony feel to the game. We have been playing this for over a year and we just recently bought the pro tour add-on. 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We absolutely love this game. Its not cluttered with ads and it just doesnt get old to us. Our favorite thing is that each character you collect has their own theme and vibe and that makes it very unique.
The only thing we would think would be a good feature would be a Multiplayer online mode against other players either on Bluetooth or around the world , and a option to just go straight to the prize menu instead of losing every time .
Nothing huge just some graphical bugs. The characters are stuck in their icon forms in the character select screen and pro tour ladder. Also, we dont know if its just us but the kings icon is replaced with the sentry not character for some reason. We hope the devs see this.
We really love this game from the visuals to the characters and the concepts and they wont drown you with tons of ads, this is exactly what the App Store needs 10/10 would recommend.
We NEED HELP PLEASE… We have been playing this game for a long time trying to get all the crowns on all the characters and yesterday our game crashed… Now every time we start the game we get a runtime error. It says this under runtime error "bad argument #1 to ‘pairs’ (table expected, got nil)". We really really don’t want to delete it and lose all our data. Please get back with us and give us suggestions to fix this. We love this game and that’s the reason we gave a five star because it’s one of our favorite games. Please tell us how we can fix this if we can.

Absolutely great game. One of the games that stands out in the App Store, especially in its genre of 1v1 ball games. After playing for 5 minutes, the game already feels like a finished and polished product right off the bat, which is a solid first impression promoting us to write this review!

This game is absolutely amazing! The cartoonish graphics and big variety of characters is a big point in why this game is so good. When we bought the PKTBALL Pro Tour expansion, we didnt even hesitate. We just bought it. And as expected, it was great. This is a 10/10 game, and not a hair short of that. This company by far is our favorite app game company in the App Store, and we only look forward to the future.
