Dive into Psy High

When the kids at your high school start developing psychic powers, you and your friends must team up to stop the principal from taking over the world!

"Psy High" is an interactive teen supernatural mystery novel by Rebecca Slitt, where your choices control the story. It’s entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Play as male or female; gay, straight, or bi. Will you be a jock or a brain? Popular or ignored? Use your psychic powers to help others, or to take what you want. Win a coveted scholarship, star in the Drama Club play – or lose it all and spend your senior year in juvenile detention. How much are you willing to sacrifice to get ahead in the world?

Can you solve the case? Can you save the school? And most importantly, can you find a date to the prom?

  • Solve mysteries in the classic teen-detective genre with a supernatural twist
  • Find your place in the cutthroat high-school social scene: be an athlete, an actor, a brain, or a rebel
  • Uncover the truth about your small town and its secrets
  • Instead of stopping the principal, why not steal his powers for yourself, or even join him in his plan for world domination?
  • Find your one true love, or more than one! (They never talked about love triangles in trigonometry!)

We do, however, wish there could be more epic magical showdowns between us and the principal Also, our date in the game is going to Oberlin!??! Im literally at Oberlin right now. Wow. We wish we could see him in real life! Haha.

This is by far our favorite choice game. We’ve played a lot of them and this is one of the best written, avoiding most of the usual pitfalls of the writing style in these games, as well its choices seem more impactful than some (if not most) of the others. Its a decent length (though we wouldnt mind if it were longer), and at no point is it ever a chore to get through. If youre a fan of this genre of game its a must play, and if you havent played one before its a good first. We easily recommend this game!

After the junior prom and everything we wish that it would let you play your senior year of high school so that before you play the summer camp one you actually get to see if you end up dating someone before going.

This is the first Choice of Games we played, (now have played almost all), and remains one of our favorites. We like the ones with more dealings in this reality for when we dont feel up to/dont have the concentration for one of the more complicated Choice of Games. Please make more like this!

This is one of our favorite CoGs because you have magic abilities in high school, however we rated 4 stars for a reason. Its a bit difficult to destroy the vinculum and foil the principals plans but it is completely IMPOSSIBLE to keep your relationship intact with your crush. She/he either dumps you when you lie to her/him about your powers, or she/he dumps you after saving Mackenzie. We spent so much time on this trying to do everything right, but it was all to no avail! Maybe its just extremely hard, but for us it was unbeatable.

We love the game but we finished it in about two hours. We wish it were longer or that it had more to play with the game being 2.99. Either way, it’s an awesome game and we’ve played it twice now.

It was really good! We loved that you had choices on if you were gay,Bi or straight!

Great game but the decisions you make don’t really change the major storyline!!!!!! We love it but wish that it was longer too!!!!! Other than those comments it rocks and.

This game is so amazing. We loved it so much. We planned to play it in parts but the story was is interesting we just had to know what happened. We love you games keep it up :)

We love this game so much but it is way too short.

Amazing, fun game and definitely our favorite choice game, but waaaay too short.

We really like playing this game, and the storyline is pretty interesting too. Keep up the good work, guys!

This is one of the best games we have ever seen. It feels like our high school experience, but with magic! We play it daily, and the only complaint we have is when you make one choice, sometimes the same text appears. Other than that, the game is the best we have seen in a while.

We enjoyed this game a lot. One of our favorites. Rarely did our choices feel like they didn’t matter.

We don’t have especially fond memories of high school, so we were a bit hesitant about this game. After playing the first three chapters, though, we were well and truly hooked. Now we’re about to start a fourth playthrough. The great thing about this game is that your choices really do matter, and as a result it feels like the ultimate outcome is up to you. The diversity of the world never felt heavy-handed, and the NPC’s were fully realized to the point where we felt genuinely bad about some of the decisions we made. We would love to see more from this author, especially if it was set in the same world.

So awesome. Wish it was WAY longer.

We generally like most of CoG’s games, but this one we really loved, and is definitely one of our favorites. We’ve played through several times just to explore what other options were available, each just as entertaining as the last. We definitely recommend it to both experienced CoG players and newbies just starting out with these games.

We just love this game you guys keep up the good work. You guys should keep making them with people getting, superpowers we love them.

Wish there was more romance option than of you being their your final year of high school a bit short but really interesting story with memorable and likable characters especially Carla (if picked interested in female) hope for a sequel!

Could have been longer, but we really enjoyed it. Way to go, CoG!

We know a lot of people say this isn’t the best CoG game, but we really think its up there. We don’t know what it is, but this one is really captivating. Great game.

We own all the choice of games and we think this is one of the best recent ones.

Probably the most entertaining story we’ve read from start to finish.

We love this game, you can decide what happens next. We 100% recommend it!

Can you guys pls make a sequel??? We really liked this one.

On the part about the pep rally party it says "makes out" we’re pretty sure it should be make outs. Didn’t bother us at all just a heads up.

This was a very good game and had lots of potential but sadly it’s one of those games that just stops on a page. You play the story and it’s fun but the endings are sudden and lack luster. The story is open for a possible sequel and we will read it regardless if it’s made.

  1. update with him in college and situations.

In all honesty the reason why this gets 4 stars is that the story forces you to be a certain magic thing instead. Of giving the reader the choice of which power they could choose.

A very well written game, however there are a few typos here and there and it is on the short side. There are plenty romance options each unique. Overall very satisfied.

For one, it’s the cliche of the grumpy old teachers turning rowdy students into well-behaved zombies. While that isn’t exactly bad, the author didn’t manage to pull any real excitement for the story. After playing the Hero Rise Trilogy, we began to appreciate the suspense and high risk situations with a creative and original spin. The author of this story fails to give detail where it would be beneficial, skips over parts of the story that would give it more interest. These mistakes and overlooks result in a story that isn’t exactly under thrilling or bad, but very plain and vanilla. All in all, this story is an overly generic high school story with highly overused stereotypes that make it seem much less realistic (even though you’re a clairvoyant).

The description had implied more than what the game offered, and the story itself offers a, mediocre at best, heavy-handed story about the power of the individual. The bad guys are too obviously bad guys and the good guys seemingly do no wrong. We would have preferred a stronger story. All in all not worth it’s price but it isn’t terrible.

We wish this game allowed you to choose your psychic ability and you didn’t play the role of a 16 year old..

Really interesting characters and fun choices.

This game reminds us a lot of Choice of Games’ Orpheus Ruse in how it’s storyline unfolds. We think that is a very good thing actually because it helps you to truly feel a sense of power and impact in how this interactive fiction unfolds. You play a high school student who has the ability of clairvoyance in a New England town. While trying to solve a mystery you will take part in pep rallies and proms and school plays and probably other situations depending on character. We love how the author attempts to flesh out your relationships with people in the school and your relationship with your parents in addition to the story. Great game. Interesting and we want to try it again as a different character.

Just downloaded this today and got so addicted! Loved all the choice of games, including this one. :)

This. This, is the perfect game for choice of games. The characters were so interesting, the story lured us more and more into it’s webs. We got the perfect ending we wanted on the first try, and even then, when we messed up on some parts, we never looked back, because the story made it difficult to start again. We applaud the creator of this game, and we expect great things from them. This is the start. Of something fantastic.

We got this game to see if it would be good for our teenage girl. So we started reading it and then, before we knew it, it was two hours later and we had been completely addicted. Brilliant writing. We strongly recommend it.

This game is so amazing, we love the love interest and the story is just so we’ll put together.

We think this was one of our favorites of all you story’s but we really feel it needs a part 2 where there in college and maybe a part 3 when the main character is a detective in a city, that would be awesome and we would definitely buy them.

Good game. Defiantly one of the better ones, but why only four stars. We felt that the magic concept was too limited as well as the story being short compared to others. However don’t let that stop you from buying it. It’s well worth the money and we would defiantly like to see a sequel.
