We love it so much. Its so simple and heartwarming, and really embodies that relaxed summer break we were on when we found this game. We really wish there were more dagashi games like this. Gagex games are truly something special.
We fell in love with the game a few years back. The story is so sweet. This game made us cry because we loved it so much. We never lived in Japan or been through the Showa era, but this game makes you feel like you did. It's very cute and entertaining. We don't know how to access 1 and 2 though. But anyways, this might be our favorite game of ALL time. We can't express how much we love it in this review. You will not regret playing.
It has been long since we cried last time when playing a game, and this little, nostalgic one, made us cried so hard. Our eyes are still sore today. We miss our grandma and everything in those good old days – they will never come back, we all know that painful truth, and this is the nature of growing up. This game brought tons of precious memories, they flooded into our heart in a quiet early autumn evening. Once more we were sobbing like a baby. But we truly appreciate the ones who developed this wonderful, amazing game. Even with the ads, we love every single details about it. P.S. We read through all the letters at least a dozen times. They made our heart ache so bad. Can anyone please tell us how to ease the pain of memories.
We just love the story telling in this game. Relaxing, calm, warm and a bit nostalgic.
This series and company continues to create amazing phone games that respect your time and money. (The most you can spend is $4) Wonderful story as well.
Im sad Ive basically completed it. But the storyline is adorable, and music is relaxing. This game is not time consuming by any means, but it does keep you wanting to comeback for more and just check in. The upgrades are negligible IMO but they really make the shop aesthetically pleasing. Collecting the gacha balls and toys and letters are great for completionists.
We were not expecting this f2p idle game about a sweet grandmother and her cat to rip out our heart and stomp all over it 10/10 would cry all over again.
A lot of people have complained about the ads in this game. Though, this isn't a game meant to take up too much of your time per session anyway. You see, in this game, you help a grandmother run a candy shop. The game just involved restocking the shop and occasionally reading the catalogue. Besides, the story is definitely worth the ads. It's told through heartwarming and beautifully-written letters. Not the mention that everything in the game's design just feels homely.
We love the concept, and it doesnt take long at all to fall head over heels for the game itself! The interactions of people within the story itself makes our heart swell, such a good game.
We had this game several years ago and just found it again. Our In app were not recognized. This isnt our issue as the costs are so low that we do not mind. What does concern us is the app stating one American dollar for items and being charged more. Please rectify this issue and Ill gladly give the five stars you deserve!! Thank you for your help.
Ads take away from the story. Would gladly pay to remove them entirely with in-app purchase.
We really loved summer memories so Im trying to play through theyre other titles. The original of this looked cute but insessant and broken ads made it unplayable. This third version appears to be worse, more complicated, awkward UI, horrible ads, and now it also crashes. Im giving up after about three minutes of play. Game has promise but not in its current form.
The look of this game was not as charming as candy shop 2, and its too complicated. We deleted it after a couple days.
We dont mind ads. But how can we enjoy a game when every 20s there is an ad? It gets really annoying and it doesnt worth it. Deleted the game.
Horrible ads, just horrible. That why Adblock from Futuremind is the best app on AppStore.
