What Makes Oden Cart 4 Stand Out
Welcome to Tokyo, a city of clamor and crowds. A place where the broth is hot, the winters are cold, and people's lives often take surprising turns.
See that oden cart? It's a small mobile food stand that sells hot bowls of hearty broth stocked with a variety of hand-picked ingredients, from daikon radish to tofu. Here Gramps, the taciturn proprietor, serves meals to a rotating cast of customers who sit for a spell at one of the cart's few available seats.
In Oden Cart 4: ~Life Goes On~, take on the role of the oden cart owner and serve delicious bowls of oden to your customers! As they dig in, they'll strike up a conversation, share their troubles, and give you a glimpse of the joys and sorrows that delight and plague them.
Sell enough food and you'll save up money with which you can stock new varieties of oden. Customers all have their favorite types of oden, and if you serve them enough of them they'll become regular customers.
This means they'll hang around longer and eat more oden! You might end up listening to them gripe about the same thing a few times, but patience is a virtue, and virtues are always rewarded in the end. The more you get to know your customers, the more likely they'll be to tell you more about themselves…and maybe even tell you what they really think!
Oden 4: ~Life Goes On~ is the 4th installment of the popular Oden Cart series. Not only is there a fun main story for you to experience, we also have a massive
additional story episode* available for download! If the main course isn't enough, why not go in for a second helping?

[Story]
Bundled up against the cold, crowds hurry to and fro. They barely seem to notice the presence of a single old man, quietly trudging down the street pulling a food cart.
For his part, he gives them a cursory glance now and then, but mostly focuses on putting one heavy, plodding foot in front of the other—much like the people who don't seem to pay him much mind.
This is an oden cart.
A small food stall where people can grab a quick bite. And tonight, like so many other nights, a few souls will step out of the gloom and sit for a spell, seeking a hot meal and a moment's respite. Each of them bears their own joys and sorrows, their dreams and regrets.
Tonight, at this cart, a miraculous little tale will reveal itself.
And if you so desire, you can be there to witness it for yourself.
[Additional Episode Details]
This episode is a story set in an alternate universe from that of the main story. Though some characters may look the same, they are totally different individuals here in this parallel oden dimension.
Their stories, however, are just as gripping, just as filled with ups and downs, and hopefully just as much fun to experience!

We love all the gagex games, keep them coming.
Amazing story and art, as well as audio. Just annoyed that even after a month and having all characters, the moody girl wont give the very last gripe even after PJ unlocks the mystery one. Is this a way to keep the game needlessly installed past its storyline point? It loses momentum and makes the game turn tedious and makes it feel desperate, otherwise besides this issue it is beautiful and always nice to come back to and hear character building on top of gorgeous original art.
All the Gagex games are amazing. Including this one, we think the music track in Oden Cart 4 as well as the potential for full story is fantastic. However, as many others mentioned, the game isnt complete, or has bugs which have never been fixed by developers. The last 3 food items are locked, as are the last 2 customers for us. In addition, at some point we started to only have 2 customers come in at a time, instead of three. No matter what oden combination we try, Im unable to unlock the remaining content. This wasnt the case with either of the other Oden Cart games. We would absolutely give this one 5- stars, when/ if its fixed.
Ive played all the games (minus 3 because yall never translated it) but Im stuck. We finished all the early customers stories except moody girl and cheery lady, who both have locked gripes and have been at our cart for weeks until we slowly and painfully earned enough coins for the goofy old man to show up, now Im putting in more coins than Im earning back from only 3 customers and Im just watching as our coins get lower and lower, if it gets to the point where we run out of money Im just uninstalling. Disappointed to say the least as we adore this series and was considering buying the bonus episode. Update: we cant earn any money. Sometimes when the food is gone and we get paid we make a profit, but sometimes we lose money??? Im done being stuck at 10k, we're uninstalling. Ill just watch a video about this game on YouTube.
Why isnt the third game translated its an important part of to overarching story.
Although we didnt like this one, we still want to play the 3rd one, please translate it.

Good game as always. But we have the same problem as many others have mentioned cannot unlock the last three food and customers. All the completed customers also stopped showing up. Now the first girl is the only customer (no matter what oden we put) and one of her three star dialog says collect more complaints to unlock. Have collected hundreds, maybe thousands will do.
Oden cart games are gonna be our forever favourite! Thank you for another amazing experience :) Well…one thing though: Remember when the previous games had occasional boosters, where lots of conversation happen? We really miss those…they help with game progress A LOT. Now we are having trouble getting the final 3 customers to show up, guess we have to be more patient lol.
