What Makes SimplePhysics Stand Out
SimplePhysics lets you design complex structures for everything from tree houses to ferris wheels and then simulates your design with a sophisticated physics engine.
A wise person once said: "An engineer is someone who can do for a dime what any fool can do for a dollar." In SimplePhysics, your design must not only be strong enough, it must be cheap enough to win.
Create your design in seconds with the blueprints editor. If you make a mistake, simply tap the Undo button. Zoom in and out by pinching the screen and pan the view using a two finger drag.
While testing, you can see how the strain is distributed across your design. Areas that are under immense strain are colored bright red, while other areas are colored green. This allows you to find and fix problem areas in your design.
The finger test lets you use your finger to push and pull on your design. You can use this with pinpoint accuracy, or you can just smash your design to smithereens. The finger test has an explosive new twist. You can now create explosions by tapping the screen for ultimate annihilation.
The newly added Bomb Shack level includes a dummy with full support for ragdoll physics. Throw him around, blow him up, and smash him against your design.
The slow motion feature lets you slow things down so you can see how your design is failing, and it is also incredibly fun to watch explosions destroying your design in slow motion.

Ive played this game since the initial release. Our daughter plays it quite a bit now, too. Always trying to beat our scores. The leaderboards seem to be gone, now, though. Would love to see more levels added (even if it was a paid add-on)! *Please bring back the high scores.
As a mechanical engineer, we enjoy relaxing with this game. The FEA view is great to help minimize stress. More levels would be great, but we still enjoy reducing old answers to reduce cost of our structures.
This is a good game but we keep failing we failed on like three and we completed without it costing too much.

Find us a game that makes you think. Finally a game that makes you use your brain. Its unlike those mindless games that are good if you only have two brain cells left.
We are a Civil Engineer and love structural challenges. This app will test you and it works good.
Have the game through 3 phones now. Love it! Great way to kill time, think of new designs. We now have our kids trying to play & think of ways how to build structures.
We got the app and soon after our dad got addicted to SimplePhysics he and we try to get the cheapest structure its so much fun. GET THE APP.
Its a great game! However, it's way too short, it needs more levels. It is amazing game based off of engineering with a challenging aspect which will get you hooked very quickly. It has good challenge scaling, each level gets harder but if you use your ideas from another build it is easier. The leaderboard makes us want to keep playing because we are very competitive, so thats another added bonus. Overall, its a great game.
Could be better but for $.99 its well worth the cost. Id pay more for more lvls.
We loved this game until we finished it then we just started playing SimpleRockets 2 which by the way anyone who is reading this you should totally download SimpleRockets 2 for only $6.99 But lets get back on track it needs a lot more levels like at least five to like 20 more levels seriously make more levels to this game jundroo please we need more levels.
Got our 6 year old hooked thats worth the price of admission right there! This includes 12 different building challenges with increasing difficulty. Learn how to transfer stress, distribute loads, and handle jerks (yes, the technical term for change in acceleration over time). Once you come up with a solution, try to build it under budget! Love this game. Like others we want for more. That said, there is a rich amount of play in the trimming to absolute minimum required to pass the tests. Requires a bit of tenacity/obsession to unlock that aspect of the game. Well worth the money, IMO.
Its very good. Only problem with it is that there are not enough levels.
This game is good, and makes you think hard. However, for a paid game, we feel like there shouldve been 2-3 more levels. Also, clues or tips should be at least a in game, attainable things that you can reuse by achieving insert parameter.

Exactly identical drawings can perform completely differently depending on the mere order in which individual members are drawn, despite being otherwise perfect duplicates. In addition, if you search online for a 3-star solution to the truck crane, youll find that a 3-star rating can be gained by the most ridiculous design youll ever see.
We have enjoyed this app for years, but now we are running iPadOS 14.2 and whenever we start it, it immediately crashes. Please fix.

We got the game with MY MONEY and we have already done all the lessons so it was a WASTE.
This is a wonderful app. HOWEVER, this version will NOT work with the new iOS that will be launched a month later. Please offer upgrade so we can keep enjoying your awesome app on the iOS 11. Speaking of which, we personally think that the interface (buttons, dialog boxes) are a little bit crude. So if you tweak with the visuals, we would be happy to say, that this is flawless.

Love this game, the developer should make sequals to this instead of getting distracted by rockets and stuff.. This is the best, give us more of this.
This game challenged our brain and was a lot of fun. We were always hooked and it was pretty hard. This will NOT get boring but remember to keep trying.

Do not get this game. Compared to other games by this creator it it horrible. The game has an evenings worth of content, if that. You can buy other building games for free while having many more in depth challenges and the levels are not even very creative.
He or she has made some pretty fun games on the application store but this is not one of them. We hate the budget system and you think it's going well but then something suddenly goes wrong. We don't like it.
This game looks great and we really like some of the other games by Jundroo but when we try to open the app it just crashes. PLEASE FIX BECAUSE we JUST SPENT MONEY ON A GAME we CANT EVEN PLAY!!!!! We hate when games say that they are compatible with our ipod even though they aren't. We will rate five stars once fixed.
