Solitaire Versus – Family Game Review
![]()
Solitaire Versus is a Family/Card game from Miralet Inc., first launched in 21st January 2021.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 32+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Solitaire Versus Stand Out
Solitaire Versus is a free, fast-paced multiplayer solitaire game popularly known as Nerts, Pounce, Peanuts, and Racing Demon. It plays like Canfield with two to four players all competing at once and sharing their ace piles.
Play with your friends in the same room, across town, or on the other side of the world. Or you can choose to play with somebody new.
No login or sign-up is necessary, just download and play.
Add frequently played players as friends so you can see when they are online and invite them to play.
As you play, you will develop a skill rating similar to a chess rating. This reflects your overall ability and is used to match you against other players of similar skill. But you can choose to play against a player of any level – if they will accept!
Earn Success Points as you play in four-player matches, then compare yourself to the world’s elite Solitaire Versus players by rating, Success Points, and win percentage.
Game Play:
It’s a race to clear your Task pile and get your cards out to the Community area before your opponents do. You earn one point for every card moved to Community and lose one point for every card left in your Task pile. Miss an opportunity to move a card to Community and you may lose precious time waiting for another opportunity to arise.
You each play with your own deck, Task pile, and Staging piles in your private area, but you build Ace piles in a shared community area.
It’s great fun, involving speed and card placement strategy. There is no turn-taking amongst the players, everyone plays simultaneously.
A round ends when the first player empties their Task pile. The next round starts with a fresh deal of cards. To win, end a round with 60 or more points – if multiple players have more than 60 points, the player with the highest score wins.
This Family game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:
Psychologically it adds meaning to our life 10/10.
Ive been looking for a good mobile port of nerts since we discovered a similar one on pc. Got our friends and family hooked on this. Yes its a bit buggy and yes the ads are annoying but these devs need money to make it better! Its great that they built in a feedback feature internally. Ive submitted multiple ideas and theyve always responded within a reasonable timeframe with great feedback. Devs let us know what you need to keep improving on this.
Love the game but cant start rooms or leave games. Love that you can play real friends but it is a pain to navigate this app. Bummer.
Why does it seem like nobody else has ads besides us.
Best competitive solitaire game. Dont like the lag time when picking and moving cards. Game stopped working, we havent been able to join new games or create new tables all day. Once the problem gets fixed we can up our rating.
We love the competitive nature of this game and we love thinking that Im playing actual people and not a computer like in other Nertz apps. But what we dont like is this horrible lag when trying to pick up cards from your deck and placing them on the board. Sometimes even after placing the card it takes a second for it to process which causes you to lose all rhythm in your play. It can get really frustrating at times and we really hope they fix this.
We love this game! We got it because we play it at our job but its called pounce instead. Our only thing is, sometimes when we hit our deck to flip cards, its delayed so other people are able to put out before us and we hate that because sometimes it causes us to lose. We think its a bug but its needs to be fixed ASAP! If it wasnt for that, Id give this a 5 star rating.
This app would be way better if you could leave a game. Cant join same room as friends because one accidentally clicked the wrong room.
This game is better than all of the other nerts/solitaire games out there. Super awesome and we love playing with our boyfriend.
If you run across a player named beerian in this game just leave the game bc you dont stand a chance. This game is great as long as you dont play it with a friend who says they are terrible at evrythibg even though they always win! Great game tho.
Hopefully it gets more popular.
Fun competitive game that we havent been able to find anywhere else on the app store. Im not convinced Im playing against real people because who they heck is playing this app besides us. But the ads are killed popping up after ever round and every game. Theres not even a remove ads for 99 cents options. Also some ads will automatically make you leave the app and bring you to the app store, even if you carefully click the X out. We do enjoy all the stats and game history they add. We wish there was a chart of progress over time, like a line graph of the points.
Heres the thing: Im obsessed with the game. Im hooked. But the app can glitch sometimes, causing lag or kicking us out of games. Currently, the entire server has been down all day and its driving us absolutely nuts that we cant play.
The ads between rounds are longer than the break so when you finally get to the next round the game has started without you. Beyond ridiculous. Im fine watching an ad but why allow it to impact the game? We deleted because this started happening almost every round.
Adds another level to freecell/solitaire being able to play off other peoples decks.
