We are on a Star Trek kick so we searched the App Store and found this app – we had downloaded it and deleted before, but the App Store marketing pulled us in that we could play all our old characters and immerse myself in that world. They hired the actor for Q as a voice actor!! We wasnt expecting that. Everyone else (Picard, etc.) was a couple sound clips youll recognize from the shows. The display is clunky and boxy. The load times are slow, and the gameplay felt too abstract from actually doing something. We could only play 20 minutes before deleting again. It did kick up some of the nostalgia which is what we wanted – but unintuitive UI, blah content, we couldnt keep going. Maybe you can.
The game is decent enough to enjoy if it were not from the buggy ads. When the ads are shown the game becomes sluggish and unresponsive. Which causes the game to crush OFTEN. And when the game crashes that means that all progress is lost and the currency paid to start the mission is lost, a nice double whammy of fk you. FYI The #1 thread on the Wicked Realms games forum for bugs is this exact issue, dating back to September 2018. So if you enjoy buggy games, well then join the fun.
Wont let us go to the last stage. Epic. Waist our money and a lot of it and time.
One of the main aspects of the game, Fleet Boss Battles, is completely unobtainable to continue to progress by most. It requires you to beat the hardest level at 100%, and if you cant, you no longer receive the materials needed to progress and are forever locked out of this portion of the game. Been stuck on bridge level 13 for months now and see no hope of ever being able to go further, thereby missing out on rewards that are essential to the game as a whole. The goal post is too high, we imagine only a fully active fleet of high level players can do it, and the rest of us are just locked out forever. It makes it feel pointless to continue playing at all.
The gameplay and characters are great they should make a Dr Who game just like this.
We finished episode ten and you need to make more playable episodes.
Star Trek timelines support after system upgrades is ineffective we played for many years but the last upgrade virtually locked us out… Which left us no choice but to resign from a game we enjoyed guess we did not spend enough money to be more than a number its a cash grab!
We really enjoy playing this game but Ill never purchase anything again. When we purchased a game pack for 24.99 we were charged for two packs which we wrote them about concerning the issue. We received a reply saying a refund wasnt in order and sent another email explaining in more details why we shouldnt be charged for two items, one of which we didnt order, but again received an email back stating we wasnt entitled to a refund. We dont understand why these people have to be so greedy and we just wanted everyone to be careful buying extra items for such games they wont listen to your reasons and wont explain why they came to their decision.
Great game however we find its been having a lot of load issues where we cant get past the load screen. Besides this its a fun game that can be addicting at time collecting all our favorite characters.
On the iPhone 13 max multiple UI elements are inaccessible or hard to get to, as well numbers displaying weird in gauntlet for example 1000 shows as 100 with a 0 on a lower line. Hard to scroll to bottom of crew. Still fun if youre a Star Trek fan. *Just wanted to update our review because it looks like the last update solved a good number of UI problems.
We enjoy this game. Been playing on/off for few years and in that time there is still NO in-game guidance for characters/fusions/upgrades, and no guild chat! We want to see more options for our pull down menu with characters! We want 1) fuse/upgrade 2) all possible characters that use same resources for upgrades 3) new characters we hate having to scroll thru everyone!! Soin character drop down implementation of FUSE option! Guild/ Alliance chat!
Only two issues and one is just a wish really. On iPhone 14 Pro Max, the screen gets hidden behind the microphone/front facing camera and you cant read all the text from the game. Wish: Too bad we cant trade crew Single 4 Star for 4 Star or Single 5 star for 5 Star crew.
The game imagery is now offset to the left, with the game data hidden behind the front facing camera. The game also doesnt abide by the lock orientation – it keeps flipping around whether the orientation lock is on or not. Seriously? This is the huge update we were waiting for?
The game is fun & addictive, but has become so glitchy that it is practically unplayable. The boss battles are inoperative, & the game seizes & shuts down every few minutes. We hope the 9.2.1 update fixes this mess, because it is extremely frustrating to have to restart the game 5-6 times an hour.
Staff is always up-to-date when you have problems with the game and they can fix the problem right away. When they have a glitch or bugs it is fix the right away. Sent out rewards to players for bug and glitches. Best game we have ever play on our phone. We wouldRecommend playing this game.
For some reason they use a lot of non-canon crew. Like Q as a pirate which never happened. Or Captain Janeway as a space pirate with an eyepatch or Chekov wearing a Toga and they just cream themselves over the stuff. It be a better game if they just use the crew everybody loves in why they download the game, but the Developers dont get it. Such a pity.
We have this on pc and the experience is better. The app is just a pointless grind and the whole watch a video for free spins is a scam after the video it removes your daily spin and gives you nothing. The game itself runs smooth and looks good but grinding wont get you anywhere and its just not worth spending any money on. On the pc there are still options to buy upgrades but even without things can be gotten through playing. The app will make sure you just cant progress without wasting days getting one piece of equipment or dropping some cash. We get they make the game to make money but honestly its not worth spending any money. Its too bad because we do enjoy the game on pc not going to waste any time on the app.
We cant see or interact with the things not within the safe area. Its not just this app. Its as if Apple is doing this on purpose. At least give us the option to fix the safe areas of our displays ourselves if you wont do it!
Timelines Well we’ve been playing this game for almost 3 years now, we love it for the most part, however The gauntlet is horribly horribly weighted in favor of your opponent. We dont know how many times our players with twice the stats and higher crit percentage have been soundly beaten by the opponent. Also our players, even Immortalized ones, seem to have lesser stats than their exact counterparts on the opposing side. Tilting Point you need to fix this problem!!! If we wasnt for this single part of the game, we would gladly have given it a 5 star rating. We posted the above two years ago and have only seen a decline in the Gauntlet parity. We’ve spent hundreds of dollars on the game and we can live with the complaints most people post in their reviews, but this Gauntlet problem is making us seriously consider abandoning the game altogether. We are a level 99 player with numerous 5* immortalized characters and we keep getting beaten soundly by lesser opponents, some with less than half the stats. Wicked Realm, its time to get off your duffs and fix this problem. Dropping another star off our rating until this is fixed.
They have the rights to pretty much all the Star Trek series but yet they insist on creating crew like Chekov dressed up in a Greek Toga or BashirDressed up like somebody from a couple thousand years ago in the Middle East, why? We dont know maybe they want to go out of business. If they would use the Star Trek crew they have the rights to itll be a five star game. But they seem fixated on sabotaging themselves.
It would be a fun game except plays can attack players whenever so its not really. If we start mining and go to bed so we can wake up and its finished someone has always attacked our ships and the long wait for our cargo is empty and we cant continue in progress. Oh but dont worry we could use resources for a shield yeah right. Also all the alliances we go to people are just promoting hate speeches like homophobia and antisemitism. Im done with this place.
We love Star Trek but when you get to a certain point in the game, you cant do anything else except just upgrade your ship and all that. You need to make the game longer of play. We would rather play fleet command than this garbage.
This has the potential to be a great game, it has issues!! First is when you log on, pop ups! Used to be one every time & now its two-three!! They have also added in the last couple updates more real money wasting!! Right on the daily checklist now has a buy option in the lower left corner that was never there before!! With all this buying options, its starting to look like galaxy of heroes & how they push for the pay to play players over the F2P players!! Fix these issues & this can be a really fun game!! Update, we just glance over the pay part but dont complain about having to pay & the developer responded!! All the reviews that talk about how the game is set to pay to play/win, the developer hasnt given them any response!! Shows how those people hit the nail on the head & the developer cant say anything without lying!! Keep ruining games with the stupid pay to play developers!! Update, since the last game update, its become the only app we have to doesnt want to load half the time!!
Its super fun most of the people we’ve met have been super friendly just like the nicest people especially in our fleet (I love our fleet) and whenever theres a bug the support team (think thats they are called) get busy right away to fixing it and not only that they give you something as compensation for your troubles its one of our favorite games and tbh the one we play the most.
When this was in control of the original developers Disruptor Beam it was great! After a couple years they seemed to quit adding Episodes/Story Arcs and added new game modes and features which mostly made the game more robustBUT then around the time they sold the game to the new devs Tilting Point – it started seeming like you are playing carnival games / like the Gauntlet thing – pretty dumb. And is it our imagination or did the graphics get worse??? Washed out and 2-D? We were thinking about trying it out again after a couple years away , but from the App Store description and user reviews, it looks like its still going in a downward direction Bosses really this is not a platform/Nintendo style game! We do applaud the consistent efforts to adding new characters as new shoes come out on Paramount+. We hope Tilting Point doesnt follow suit using the totally unnecessary profanity Paramount decided to allow on Picard series!
Its impossible to advance in the new boss battles if youre in a smaller fleet. We cant participate any longer because Im not willing to abandon a fleet we started for sentimental reasons. Really disappointed in this new direction.
This game has everything a player could ask for and more. The user interface is very easy to use. The collection of characters seems to be never ending. We’ve been playing since launch very casually and we’ve been able to get a bunch but they keep coming out with more. We dont have them all, but Im working it. Updates regularly to keep everything flowing great. No need to spend real money, but very affordable if you want to move things along a little faster. Where it shines the most for us is not in the game, but the customer service. Just a few emails and we got our account back from switching from an android to an iPhone. Link your account is our advice. Thank you to a very special worker. Ill name her Admiral Christel, because she went above and beyond to help us. Try the free stuff in the game, but we bet youll get hooked as we did and buy a few things to help along the way. You wont regret it Im sure of it. This game should be at the top of the editors choice list.

Awesome game. What Star Trek is all about. However with the last update we dont particularly like how it changed the look of our ships. Still though we love the gameplay.
Fixing the black holes & abnormal situations in the universe through negotiation & space battle.
If you like a game where you need to spend a couple of hundred dollars (per month) to be competitive then this is your game. Cheating and Bot programs are allowed and developers dont care because they are getting rich. Also lots of bugs in the code but unless it affects the wallet warriors they dont care.
This was confusing, pointless, and terrible. Devoted fan since 1987, TNG, at age 6. Our father was an original fan; less of a religion to him. It kills us to one-star a Star Trek game.
Pay to play, pay to win, useless.
This game is 100% p2w trash. Why cant we just have a decent fan made game. Made with actual heart and soul. Not this crap tainted by cbs. The p2w is so bad Activision would blush. Simply put. We find the purpose of playing this game to be illogical.
We love Star Trek, but we will never play a free Star Trek game again. Between the constant ads and pay-to-win schemes, the fact that no auto-save function exists to protect the players financial investment in these quote-unquote games is insulting to the fan base and a brand that has literally pushed all other aspects of technology in our society forward. We are creating real warp bubbles in science, but Disruptor Beam cant figure out how to protect over $100 spent in someones game. We will not be swindle by a free game again.
The PVP combined with in game purchases makes this a pay to win game. So, victory is meaningless. They could have created content instead and made a good game, but they chose to put out a crap game.
Timelines is about navigating though several paths of life styles and experiences and being able to learn each culture while at the same time Learning to improve your ability to blend each lines differences together So your fleet can have more affect on the universe and events outcome actual game flow is seamless with good connections.
We’ve had problems recently with turning our unnecessary items into replicator rations (I sacrifice our items but dont get any rations in return!) and chronitons not being claimed from watching ads wth.
Just horrible game ugh and service payed for items and did not get in game items just horrible service and game our 2 c.
The app stopped loading saved content as of two days ago. We can start over just fine, but can no longer continue our saved progress.
No desire to play a game where other players can attack you when you are no even logged in. L’m all for shoot ’em up game, and battlefield combat. But, when you can’t even defend yourself because you are not logged in … Very poor design. Deleted the game after a few days of that garbage. At least, limit the attacks on players’ ships, and bases to just the AI. Keep other players from being able to blindly attack another player.
Totally shallow gameplay, just throwing favorite characters at you left and right for barely a reason. Peddling gems and upgrades right away. Sad stuff.
With this company, the customer is always WRONG. Do not download this game. If you are a trek fan, spend your money elsewhere. These developers are crooks, manipulators, gaslighters, and just overall bad people. 3 years playing and spent a lot of money. Regret it all. They also illegally harvest your private data and sell it to third parties.
We just started but the game is cool so far. We kept it on our phone for a while but wasn’t digging the Discovery icon. Thank you for changing it to the classic movie icon.
Not all that interested in it, but it’s not bad. Getting a little worse as the walking dead zombie game causes it to freeze every time. And they love advertising it so it hangs often. We’ve lost a lot of free items because of it.
We love this game very entertaining one thing to the people that run this game. Only a few characters have a story attached to if you could right a little note for each character theres a lot of them that we dont no what show there from or what episode there in.
Getting super annoying that the game crashes each time a new event ends and closes. This wasnt an issue before Tilting Point bought the game .
Company has made clear that this game is to be nothing more than a collectible card game with bad rng and buying lottery tickets with worse odds than Quarks Bar!
