Star Wars™: KOTOR Reviews

Great that money isnt that important in the game since swoop bike racing is an impossibility on an iPad.

We miss be anle to pull them out and show them off and ik its kotor 2 on mobile so please add it to this.

Hey is it possible for you guys to make an update for limitless level ups because it feels like by the time you have your characters feats and attributes planned out you cant level up any more. P.S. Can you also do an update that gives the player more to customize on their character like height, race, hair color, etc. Can you also add a free-play mode that can be used after completing the campaign Thx.

Theres a reason KOTOR is always brought up in any best games discussion. Its one of the greatest storytelling games of all time. The mobile version is surprisingly good. The game largely controls very well, save for some brief air defense minigames which are pretty rough on touch. Combat, movement, and inventory management are smooth and easy to navigate. Cant recommend it enough, its a great way to experience the best Star Wars story yet.

When we were we kid we loved playing this game with our older brother on the family computer and when we saw it was on the App Store we had to get it. The amazing story and gameplay along with the nostalgia make this the perfect Star Wars games (for its time besides battle front 2) and to anyone who may be considering getting the game you definitely should youll be hooked on it right away.

We love this game but there is no audio at all.

Originally released November of 2003 for the first gen Xbox and PC.. This is honestly one of the best RPGs ever made. And this ported version of the game works great with the iOS touch screen controls. We actually like this version better than the PC or console versions. ICloud game saves are a plus so we can play between our iPhone and iPad. We know theres a lot of red tape.. But we still wish they could release the sequel for iOS.. We mean, its already on Mac, just wrap it into an iOS app and hit go! Ill give you money if you guys can port the KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords!! For the love of god, please give us KOTOR 2!!

We love the game played it years ago on a XB but it wont load correctly on our iPhone 11 Max pro. We did load it on our iPad but we would love that it would work on our phone. The game play has some getting used to seems to get stuck by bodies sometimes have to restart to get away from them. Using touch screen instead of a joystick is tricky but Ill get used to it Im sure. Other than that its great would love to see the second one on mobile as well and maybe some other old favorites. Thanks for bringing it to mobile!

We’ve loved the console games like Force Unleashed and Fallen Order, but the plot in this game is unmatched. Incredibly well done. Have to play to experience it. Great having it mobile too. It was mostly easy navigating through everything. Hopefully we can see more Star Wars content like this in the future, as far as games are concerned.

This was our favorite game of all time. We grew up playing this on the original Xbox. We think we typed it in the App Store as a joke and lost our mind we wish we could say we liked the Xbox one better idk why. But this mobile version is a whole new beast. First off loading/saving screens on Xbox would take foreverrr(yet we still played 1,000 times), and this mobile one is a quarter second or less Second it has the yavin station which we’ve only ever read about! (Xbox version didnt have this though we read at the time you could download it or something but we had no current knowledge or know-how) Third ; we cant think of a third but good enough! Best. Game. Ever. P.S. We see a lot of comments about bugs and such, well, Im playing on an iPhone XS Max.

We had actually never played these growing up and now its our favorite RPG! The controls take some getting used to ! But once you get them down and start building your character its sooo much fun. We had trouble putting it down sometimes cuz the story was soo good and we were enjoying myself way to much. We did rush through the game but Im excited to replay it cuz theres so many different ways to approach it. Different classes different skills ! Youre gonna be able to play this game for ever lol ! Hope this helps! Cuz you should totally get it.

This game was great and we enjoyed it more on the iPhone than we did on the original Xbox. The only time it was very difficult was the pod racing in the under ground. NOW CAN WE PLEASE KOTOR 2?!?!?

We would like to address a glitch here. We were never able to beat this game because of an issue on the star forge. We were at the beginning of the forge and we walked along a path where a cutscene was supposed to load. This cutscene did not load. We turned of the game and turned it back on. We reset our iPad. Nothing worked, so we were forced to start a new play through Other than that one instance this game is great. It is probably our favorite game ever.

Absolutely loved this game from the day it was released, have played it and the sequel on our original xbox and on our pc more recently. Loved the ability to have one of our all time favorites in the palm of our hand! Really only hate the mini games but whatre you gonna do its touch screen so no really complaints. On that note Im sure im not the only one who feels this way(strong reason im writing this review at all)but you guys have to port The sith lords over to ios like you did the first one. Would easily pay $10 again when the game is going for like $2 on steam. Where Kotor has the classic star wars odyssey feel to its story, kotor 2 is so much darker and grittier. With the recent release of rise of skywalker and talk of good and bad/ light and dark im sure everyone would love the chance to play what many people considered the better of the two again but on ios and even those whove never had the good fortune of playing would probably be thunderstruck over a star wars rpg of such depth and proportion. Again, this was a great port of a greater game. Loved it.

This game is so good! 10/10 recommend! But Im at the final battle with Darth Malak and he is frozena lot of other people have said that this same thing has happened to them. Can you please fix this! We will want to continue to play this and it not be frozen! Thanks.

Yo when we getting the second one too?

This is the best Star Wars game ever and we mean it.

But we must explain why we wish KOTOR II was mobile. You guys made this game mobile, but we want to play KOTOR II on mobile. We really want you guys to make KOTOR II on mobile. Thank you!

Simply put, this is the greatest Star Wars game OF ALL TIME! Download it, play it, beat it, then play it again.

Omg we ve been waiting on part 2 to this to come on the mobile platform for like 5+ years and finally our prayers been answered 2020 aint so bad after all we eternal atake wlr bout to drop Christmas and now the cherry on top we get kotor 2 oh yea baby im hyped.

We followed KOTOR since it was in beta and became obsessed with the original xbox version. It is probably the best video Role-Playing game of all time. Why? Not because of the graphics or even the gameplay but because of the music, the story and the characters. Its worth playing for Jolee and HK-47 alone, two of the best Star Wars characters period. We were very excited to find out about the mobile version to say the least. The controls are tricky on mobile and you will probably have to adjust the touch sensitivity, but If you like Star Wars, do yourself a favor and buy this game.

Phenomenal story. Major plot twist was pretty good. Gameplay was pretty average. Easy 5 stars.

Plain and simple Kotor is one of the greatest games ever made, even still today. This game is in our opinion the best Star Wars game they ever made, but man would we love to have the second one on mobile as well. This game is for anyone who truly loves a fantastic rpg, and of course Star Wars. So if you havent played this game yet then please go finish a Jedi. Then a Sith play through of one of the most stellar games to ever grace humanity.

This game has our favorite Star Wars character, Darth Revan.

Love it that this Star Wars tittle made it to Mobile. Its wonderful without measure. This timeless classic is outstanding. Just as good as the console released. Only complaint we have is we must have KOTOR 2..

If you hate star wars why purchase this game. We mean sure the game controls are weird thats our only problem. In our OPINION the game is great but Im annoyed going through the reviews seeing we hate star wars. THEN WHY PLAY!

Where and when is KOTOR2 coming?

It is an incredible experience we are making this review we already pre ordered kotor 2 cant wit the only thing is the little bugs and glitches but it was made at an older time so it is understandable otherwise an incredible game so fun.

This game is honestly just as good as we remember. Brings back great memories. And now hearing the news of an IOS release of KOTOR 2 makes us even more excited! Cant wait to play the whole series again!

Hey other people. Im telling you how you should play Star Wars: KOTOR, ENDAR SPIRE, TARIS, DANTOOINE, KORRIBAN, MANAAN, KASHYYYK, TATOOINE, STAR FORGE SYSTEM, STAR FORGE.

When we first saw this game we said this game better not scam us our ten dang bucks then 2 days later we gone completeyly gone attracted to it!! A thrilling adventure with plot twists, puzzling trials, and epic showdown!! Sure the graphics are horrible and not that much characters, but its the best gosh dang game we ever played! So get yo stinky bit of yo dang couch and download this game and let your thrilling adventure begin!!!

We know since Disney bought Star Wars we haven’t seen a REAL, full-featured game from them that isn’t just a huge IAP monster. Luckily here comes Aspyr with some amazing ports for us to all be excited for and appreciative of. A real, full, classic game that gives you the entire experience in a super smooth, fully accessible package. We hope to see KOTOR 2 with Restored Content on iOS in the future. That would be pretty amazing. Thanks for this and your other great ports! Keep up the awesome work!

One of our favorite games of all time and its ported perfectly.

Love this. One of the most in-appreciated games ever made. We would gladly pay $30+ for the next KOTOR game.

We’ve played KOTOR 1 and 2 probably 15 times over played it ever since we were a little kid. We saw that it came out on the iPad Pro, so we decided to buy it since we were bored at home over the break. It runs just like it does on the computer (maybe even a little smoother). This is one of the best games of all time, and is a steal compared to the $50-$60 games nowadays. The literal only complaint we have is that there did seem to be a small glitch that was a bit annoying. Every once in awhile, particularly after combat, our character would temporarily be unable to move. This had two reliable work arounds: letting our allies lead the party, or saving and reloading. We also noticed that using Force Speed or other force powers occasionally fixed this glitch, but probably at a 60/40 chance. Although this was minor and we figured out a solution, it was annoying. We are tempted to take it down a star, but we feel like because that would mislead people about the game its totally worth the money, and trust us, KOTOR 1 and 2 on the computer are far glitchier than on the iPad, so this is perhaps an improvement.

One of our all favorite games! So cool to play it on our phone, very well done! Lol now if we could get the second one on here too itd be perfect!

Just finished playing it through on mobile and its so good! Just like the XBox version. Our only issue is that there should be some way to move and shoot in the space battles. Theyre significantly more difficult than they are when using a controller. But by no means does it lessen the enjoyment of the game.

We’ve played the game up to the Jedi enclave planet but still havent completed the game yet. We are a huge Star Wars fan and this game shows how awesome the Star Wars canon games can be thank you for making such an awesome and intriguing game!!!

This game is great. As always a classic. We need part 2!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun lots of in fact make a super hard mode also make the second game.

We dont even do our job anymore. We played this probably 60% of our workday.

Played it, beat it a bunch of times. Tons of fun. Would definitely like to see the sequel on here some day though.

It is the best we were amazed.

One of our all time favorite video games. Other than a few minor bugs, everything runs smoothly. Lucas > Disney every time.

Wish this game had the option for New Game +

This star wars game literally encompasses everything an RPG should be. Great lore, storyline feels complete and not rushed. Character development is there let alone so many different play through scenarios. Feeling in control and not following a linear story line is always a plus. This game is a MUST Have for any Star Wars fan. Our recommendation is a 9.5/10 the only issue we ever experienced was sometimes the app would crash unexpectedly if left idle for too long. So be sure to save often, loved this game as a child and deeply enjoying the nostalgia of replaying it as an adult.

If you are thinking of getting this we encourage you to dew it.

Please add achievements to the game.

Loved this game since we were a kid. Perfect adaptation. Only thing thats missing is the first person toggle and nobody needs that. Please do KOTOR 2!!!!!!!!
