Community Insight:
This game is a scam there are key features like planks and metal bars that are advertised in the cover art yet their not in the game also spells dont work at all in this game this is blatantly false advertisement and everyone should report this game company to the FTC because its been 2 years since the last update and nothing has been fixed.
We would give this game 100 stars if we could.
This game is awesome and is a lot like D & D for iPhone we played it so much and loved(s) it.
We love this game, have 11hrs into it so far and we want more.
We play a lot of games on iOS. Ive played every game (in English at least) that ranks as similar to this game and many other similar titles besides… This game is by far the best at what it is trying to do and does not deserve to be a 3.5 when Ive seen a ton of terrible ad behemoths get 4.5 or higher. The game is good, engaging and time consuming. It probably can be beaten quickly but not if you play the game as it appears to have been intended – Im 10+ hours in and we presume about two-thirds of the way through the game. If you plan to actually craft and grow your characters rather than doing a speed run then you can grind to your hearts content and enjoy a long play through – at least that has been our experience. No game is perfect – there are a few slightly confusing elements and Im sure the community has many good suggestions for improvement… Though in our mind this does not bear as strongly on the games score as it stands today as people may think. Just because we can think of some cool feature that would make the game more fun does not mean that the game today is less fun because of the hypothetical potential – if anything that means that the game was designed in such a way as to benefit from a longer shelf life and a strong community. What Im saying is that what many here have listed as negatives (many but not all) are not necessary the glaring omissions that they may believe them to be. This game is excellent and deserves a much higher rating than it currently has. Give it a try for yourself and if enough people are engaged then Im sure that the developers (and the gaming community) will work towards making it a masterpiece – it certainly has the foundation to be one.
We wish it was easier to stock your heroes health potions and other consumables. Its very tedious to keep having to stock 2 health potions before each run, and defeats the purpose of farming, since we cant restock potions before the next run. Hope to see more updates soon.
Its been 3 years since an update.
There is a lot going on here and it does have the feel of a lot of click happy freemium games, but it doesnt satisfy. Youll spend most of your time restocking your potions and creating gear you wont use to fulfill a mission. This is like the mid game grind of Punch Club.
The game is entertaining enough and has promise, but there are a few issues with this port from steam to mobile devices. First, there are some text issues that seem to be a bit off, but thats minor. There are some things missing between the pc and mobile version, such as the act of bribery quest, which doesnt seem to function properly on the mobile version. There is also the material crafting component that seems to be mentioned in the mobile version that doesnt work as well. It seems like it was a rushed job to translate the game, but a few patches should get it up to speed.
So was having fun until we couldnt equip our 4th adventure dont know why tho anyone else.
We hope to support the Arabic language in the upcoming updates.
Buy weapons fantasy shop instead of this game. It is Not full screen and only rotates during cutscenes. We were a huge fan of tiny build but they keep mucking things up. They are shady with their updates and crappy with their ports. We were a huge fan but not anymore.
But this game has big problems that prevent us from even trying to finish it. The relaxing option and mood parameter is totally meaningless. The monsters soon became too strong to beat and leveling up our characters did't seem to do any help. Too much ways to spend your money and too less to earn it. All those added up making our characters cannot even finish the first map starting from the tenth quest. And your first weapon is not suitable for sale, so that lessens our money even more. It is a pity that this game could have been much more funnier, but those problems ruined it. 1star for the structure,1 for the visual elements, but definitely not worth $6.99 to play.
Bugs everywhere. Grindy but its not the fun kind.
We bought this game for our iPad Pro 11 (2018) and the game has iphone mode only, like instagram on ipad. Is this a bug.
The other reviews nailed it. Read those, then dont buy this. Its half a game, and a really sloppy one, at that. Beautiful animation, tho.
We dont even know what Im playing here, its like a freemium idler without in app purchases but its $7 but you have to constantly do stuff thats not fun and takes no strategy, and time doesnt progress when not in app, not like it would matter anyway. All you do is grind but for no purpose? We dont even know. There is no skill, no point to loot as its so boring and uninteresting and no point to leveling as it doesnt even improve stats? You dont even level from grinding you have to manually pay coins to level which ultimately doesnt do anything other than give you another level, no stat improvements. Certain gear you find cant be equipped unless you train certain stats individually that only level up one point per time but like a weapon will have an insane requirement of a stat and you have to spend ungodly amounts of gold to get to that stat point requirement. Crafting is so pointless and tiresome. There is just zero fun factor here. Just stay away, it looks enticing we know, we bought it, but just dont, its not worth it and no amount of updates will make it better unless every single aspect of the game is reworked from scratch.
Poorly balanced, particularly around when you hire your second hero. There quickly becomes a fight to overcome stronger enemies way beyond your capability, while battling health/stress costs and training/creating gear. Gathering a particular resource at this point becomes impossible when progression in the missions is at a standstill and the only one type of resource spawns first, meaning you cant white flag something to farm a particular resource to craft better gear.
When we equip the health potions, it just freezes on our screen. It only happens when we equip the potion for our second party. We hope you can fix this ^^.
We can not complete the main quest where you use the fire arrow spell. This is because our mama doesnt get used and lets us use unlimited spells and we think it bugs the game. Helllp.
Could you optimize for IPad? Thanks.
We just updated to the latest version today hoping we wouldnt be stuck any more. Alas, we are stuck we unlocked the two new dungeons so we have a total of three and they always flash new even though Ive beaten both including the boss about a dozen times each. Our characters are basically maxed out, we have 5 star reputation, and we cant advance in the story or game. Please fix the bugs until they are fixed we dont recommend the game. Super frustrating.
Everytime we use an item called pretty kitty III our adventure freezes and we have to reset the game every time its very glitches.
Game starts of as a fun grind, if thats your kind of game. However, the game is obviously not finished. You get items you cannot use, skills have the number 1 next to them, but there is not skill 2. Mobile version also lacks sufficient descriptions on some items. Looks like an early access game that the devs pushed out with mount labeling it as such. Dev exhibits this behavior more than once (Graveyard Keeper). Tl;dr if you buy this dont expect a finished game.
We just finished the game (it came out two days ago), and the second half of the game is really disappointing. The randomness of characters and stat growth, as well as randomness of items, is bizarre. You level your character but you can also train specific stats….which is really odd. Like if you dont train stars, you characters will struggle to complete the second tier (recommended levels 5-24) at level 15. If you level stats instead, you can have level 25s beating the 3rd-tier stages (recommended levels 24-50). Gear makes sense at the start, when warrior weapons/armor are made in Smithy, wizard gear is made in Magic Shop, etc. At the end, youve got weird guns and orbs in the smithy, and everything is so random that you basically just build a bunch of stuff and hope it makes you character more effective. Also the gameplay is just grindy: Send your heroes off. When they finish send them again. Do this for an hour or so. Craft gear with all the stuff they gathered. Upgrade their gear and sell the rest. Use the excess gold to level/train heroes. Repeat until the game is over. Finish the game in 2 days, having spent most of the time doing something else entirely and just clicking replay each time they finish a dungeon. This is the husk of a good game, but man, its like this wasnt even play tested.
We really like it so far totally worth the price in our opinion. Our only tiny suggestion is that you make potions auto equip after they are spent in a dungeon. Thanks for the great game.
Works well on iPhone 6s. Havent had any crashes yet, about an hour in. Quite fun, hard to understand some things but the start quests help eventually. Art style is cool and cute, just as the screenshots show. Its more of an elaborate hero questing game, so far it has quite a bit to do, and Im only at the first boss. Content hasnt slowed down yet. For the price, its worth it, but that depends on if you like these types of games. Its a mix town management like Kairosoft (?) games and questing. One HUGE pet peeve, and why Im rating 4 stars: the prompt asking for rate the game causes the game to freeze. So, here we are, rating your game.
Ive played a little bit and our overall feeling is we quite enjoy the game so far.
Really enjoying this game! There are some bugs though. We clicked the health potion to read the description and we couldnt exit the description page and the game did crash on us once on first boot.
The overall concept of the game is good and quite fun – you equip heroes and send them on adventures where they more or less fight autonomously. The game however suffers from being rushed and too short. Took us 9hr12min to finish the main story, and the endless mode that follows is not really entertaining. Furthermore some features are just half-implemented and clearly missed as bugs in QC. For example, a tooltip mentions refining resources, and refined resources are indeed in-game (a character skill allows to gather them), but the refined resources are not actually used anywhere (or at least not where we could find), nor is it possible to manually refine resources. All in all, a fun little game. Theres better on the App Store, but theres worse as well.
The game seems incredibly fun and we love the publisher, but Im very disappointed by no iPad support. (ie. It just displays the iPhone version stretched). Please fix.
IPhone 8. Crashes repeatedly upon opening.
While we were playing every time we go and fight monsters, a Mystical Ent keeps is the first monster that keeps showing up. Now we have no gold left to heal our heros.
Horrendously small screen on iPad, even when expanded it only takes up half the screen. No landscape mode.
