The Elder Scrolls: Blades Review

For the quality its impressive it is available on mobile.

This game is awesome. We wish there was the ability to walk an open map maybe even just outside our own town to provide alchemy ingredients without the threat of anything except skeevers , wolves and bears ! We want more quests to keep us leveling up at a steady pace !!

We enjoy all Elder Scrolls games. Theyre the best RPGs. Blades is an excellent addition to the franchise allowing an escape to another world anywhere on this world.

We like it we wish the town and character levels for required things could be lower and exp could be earned during missions like in final fantasy xiv so we could level up faster we’ve played the game for 2 and a half years and Im only level seven and our town is only level 2 idk if Im doing something wrong but we like it and we have no complaints.

The theme of the Adventurer Alliance of Tamriel is Camaraderie so pure that it does not exist on the plane of humankind You do not believe this is possible? Join us and see for yourself that not only is this possible but that you will be a maker of what does not exist. In this place we do not speak with the brevity of the modern age to mark that this place is different and we are different when we are here. In this place you are honorable, your comrades are loyal, and your leaders are wise and worthy of your respect. You will see as we did that once the best in you is unbridled you will not be able to contain it in Tamriel, and you will not want to! The times call for Blades, they call for the Adventurer Alliance of Tamriel, and they call for wundunikke (Adventurers in the tongue of dragons) from around the plane of humankind to join together. Should the Nine converge our paths, may there be honor in your shout and may our camaraderie be on display from the moment of our greeting. UL! Mid! Zey! (Eternity! Loyalty! Brotherhood/Sisterhood!)

Havent been able to put it down since downloadedenough said.

"Hello fellow adventurer! That is a rather fine blade you have there and that is an exquisite coat of arms you have strapped on there traveler. Say, isnt that the sigil of the king?" "I am the King!" If you are an avid gamer looking for a mobile friendly version of the Elder Scrolls series, then you’ve stumbled (you know, because of the arrow to the knee) upon the right place…

TES Blades is one of our most favorite games ever because the touch screen combat for PvP arena is amazing. The hits and blocking and abilities and magic have been engaging and challenging. We do wish the game was updated with patches and some new content.

Please make a fallout version of this.

Would be cool to have controller support.

Please add controller support for the Backbone One and Razer Kishi.

Continue storyline dlc next to the docks near castle where the sea or ocean is following the last king boss. Ad new merchants by docks. Fishing, more stuff. Mini games in town multiplayer more fun stuff.

Great graphics and combat system for a free mobile game.

Id love to scream a lot more if we could use a controller.

We enjoy this game daily and would love an update for controller support!!

We think this game is pretty good and fairly balanced so far. No issues, not pay to win. The only problem tho is after we play for ab an hour or two the game will randomly crash and we know its not because of hardware limitations but we cant seem to figure out why. We left a 5 star review in hopes that the developers will see this and hopefully address the problem.

Im a huge fan of the Skyrim franchise and we came across this and thought this was a rip off pay to win version of it and we were completely wrong. The entire game is so much fun with hours upon hours of stuff to do. You can walk around your town and see what stuff needs to be built. Once you build something people start coming in which gives you quests. We love that we can craft stuff and constantly upgrade and they have a leveling system that isnt paid to win. We’ve already bought some stuff cause Im having a lot of fun and wasnt pressured into buying anything.

We love that there is a game like oblivion for our phone. The music, the characters- takes us back.

If only you added co-op mode in some missions, it would be even better.

As a long time fan of the Elder Scrolls series, we have to admit we do love this game. Gives us some nostalgic feelings of some of there older games and Skyrim. Definitely give it a try!

We love this game. We’ve had few technical issues and only positive experience. Today, as a gift, loyalists were gifted a very valuable package from the developer in celebration of the anniversary. Thx great game. Great developer! We wanna beta test !!??

This game is great/above average in most regards so it blows our mind why the developers havent added controller support. Until then Ill wait and hope they come to their senses.

We love this game. We dont know why the creators of the game made it so you can not explore wherever you want, whenever you want. Maybe the game would be too big for the IOS system to handle. We wish you could explore freely in the open world. Also, we wish there was a delete character option in the settings. There should be one, but there is not. We didnt want to play on the character we first created and connected the account to Game Center. The only way we could save a new character in the game was to delete the app, then log in to Bethesda. However, now we have to permanently have the Game Center turned off on our phone so we can play on the character we want. We are willing to do so, because this is our favorite game. Thanks for all of your hard work to make the game.

We mostly love it. While not as extensive as the elder scrolls pc games, obviously, it is terrific for a mobile game, and we really enjoy the town building function. Its fun to see how different members in our guild choose to decorate and design their towns. The music and character designs are beautiful, as expected for an elder scrolls game. The arena is pretty good. We also really enjoy the Aleid elf storyline, and the battles are challenging enough without being too impossible without dumping ridiculous amounts of money into the game. You could play it completely free, but we found spending a moderate amount of money while grinding for the rest of the game for things like materials helped. This is where we have a problem with the game, though. Because there arent locations on a map where you can reliably get the same materials, and materials seem to become available in dungeons and quests based on the level of your character and not entirely based on location, it can be hard to level up your character with good armor and beat levels to get more materials. We like that we can shop for materials at the shops in other peoples towns when our towns shop runs out of items, but we dont like the trade function on the guild. You cant choose how much of an item you give to a guild member who requests and item, and you cant say how much of an item you need in the request without using the chat function, and even then, a lot of guilds dont chat much because the guilds are a little on the useless side and people ignore them. We think guilds could be greatly improved by having a more full-fledged trading market where you can, say, trade 50 or 100 potion materials or leather or chitin for another players 50 to 100 quantity metals or other smithing materials. The fact that the automated guild donation system only donates 3 or 10 items at a time at random without us being able to choose how much we give or request is pretty useless, 3 chitin or gold or garlic makes hardly any difference, especially when it takes 2 or 3 days for a player to even respond to the request because most guilds are dead for players who are still leveling up.

The game is very good but we think there should be a new game button.

We love the game but it seems there is a wall around level 15-17 everything is level 5 rated and even the level 2 which used to be extremely easy are now very difficult with high level gear. Just confused other than that we love it.

The game is really fun, but it would be better if we had the option for controller support.

Great way to carry on the elder scrolls lore and play style, with its own unique flavor, onto your phone. Highly recommend. It would be great if a patch could be released to give it controller compatibility, e.g. The backbone app.

We would love to give our favorite game 5 stars but we have no idea who thought it was a good idea to have people in arenas go against other players who are way stronger than themselves. Why is a level 25 going against a level 55? You win a little and lose it all in two matches if you end up going against stronger players. Please fix this and categorize us. Id like to go against people in our league not way beyond on level 55 or people way below in level 5. Its ridiculous and way too broad. We’ve been stuck on level 6 in arenas going back and forth between winning one, losing three. Its incredibly ridiculous.

They make something open world like ESO. We thought it was going to be more open world.

Love it! We just wish you could actually see your character though. Maybe add a feature next update to be able to show your player pov.

All we ask is for controller support.

You cant make a flat chested female? The gameplay is excellent only problem cant play as flat chested female in fashionable armor. Being that you hardly can see your player avatar maybe a reflection of character design. The paywall in the main quest is annoying and unnecessary.

Its mostly great for a fing mobile game! Bethesda is great for AI on everything theyve done. Skyrim for example. Not in this game. Makes zero incentive for rebuilding our town. So why the heck am we rebuilding it for imaginary people? Theres zero incentive.

You should be able to start a new game. You cant do that here. If you want another character to explore other build styles with or perhaps even just a different gender, you cant do that. You can only use the profile you are currently on to respec. If you monsteriously absolutely ruin your game play some how youre stuck. You cant even uninstall the game to change that. Youd literally have to get an entirely new apple account and download the game on to it.

Hey, could you add controller support??

Nice game but not supported controller.

From the day this game was released we were hoping that one day the developers might actually add the options to play this game at 60fps but seems it will end up as our dream now we dint understand why they wont do that imagine how good this game experience it would be already at amazing pace so please listen some players love and feel the smooth while playing and im still hoping maybe they would just like in ocean horn 2.

Started off as fun but then it became impossible to beat even 2 skull quests without having billions of health potions that run out very quickly and then you can’t get any more very easily at all.

We like this game but Im going to delete it; we have reached a point where we cannot advance without spending money constantly and frankly, there are other games that dont require as much money to continue on. We could just keep trying and restarting etc. Not worth it.

This game is awesome long time player just wish we could play it with a controller.

Im at lvl 23 been playing for more than a week after spending 15-20 dollars a trend showed it ugly head. You need to spend more to get over the wall that you hit. All the levels are 2-5 above us. There is no way to grind past. Ads pop- up with just the the thing you need. Challenge are just what you dont have. Im done with this game.

Unable to play this game at all! You try to move and it doesnt let you! If we could give 0 star we most definitely would.

Asked for the code to open our phone and misery ensues because it is the correct passcode and it blocks our download.

We had to stop playing after a few hours of fighting the controls and premium purchase spam. Iirc the tutorial was this is how you move, this is how you look around, this is how you attack, this is how you give us money now we might have tried to continue playing and just ignored the constant begging for cash, but we got sick of fighting the controls more than the monsters. If you like it, good for you. We cant waste any more time on this.
