Great turn based game with loads of content daily challenges and even pvp!? This app rocks.

We are furious that none of the heroes and campaigns we purchased on the previous version can be transferred over to the new one. Absolutely disgusting and Ill never spend another dime on this freaking game.

Pretty fun and easy to get into real quick.

Honestly, the game we think is pretty good. Theres pros and cons to this game: Pros: -theres a lot of heroes you can form a team with. Each can be customized for different playstyle with Boons. -Most of things in the game can be farmed and just by doing daily missions. -Dev is pretty generous with stones so you can pretty much summon once a week if you do all your dailies. Cons: -Too many heroes to get. Youll sometimes summon dupes and you can sell it back for XP, but should be sell back for portion of stones. -Maybe its just our RNG is bad but we bought the $99 pack and summoned 20x the 4* and up only. Did not get a single 5* even though based on the possibility chart, we should have gotten on average 2. -Monster AI are the same and once you learn the mechanic of it, its easy to abuse. However, you eventually hit a wall where you simply cannot kill them and they one shot you. This is speaking from having six 4* at maxed level 40 with level 42 epic weapons and equipped with 4 epic boons. At some point, the dailies is impossible to do because youre hitting them for 53k per shot but they hit you for 89k. You cant abuse the AI because eventually they spawn faster than you can kill, which leads to unable to complete any dailies for rewards. This is where you absolutely NEED 5* but its RNG to get one. -No guarantee 5* summons. Every once a while, you get a day where you can summon guaranteed 4* and up for 350 stones. We specifically saved stones for this day. There should also be a day you can summon a 5* for 500 or even 700 stones. We spent $99 on a mobile game for 7000 stones, which is 20 summons on 4* and up days and didnt get a 5*, when the chance is 15%. -No PvP. All PvE. Theres some daily challenges where you fight 2v2 or 3v3 against other heros, but its still AI. This game has potential to be PvP and even real-time. With the different boons available, youll never know if youll run into say a Raptor with 4 range extend boon, or a raptor with 4 crit chance boon and it oneshot you. Overall, the game is good to pass time. It fun and exciting for just a bit but you hit a wall and you have to spend a lot to try and get over it but even spending $99 on a pack doesnt guarantee you will get it. We would 100% not spend any money on it though is our advice. Our feedback to dev: please add a special day summon of 5*. 4* and up day is 350 stones/summon. 5* can be 700 or something. Also, the game now will not load. When we open the app, the loading get stuck at 80% and doesnt move. Tried to reinstall and it works but when we load the account, it get stuck.

It has a different flavor than other games we have played. A good game for anyone who wants an alternative to hack and slash rpgs. We like how it utilizes the different units without taking away from the feel of role play.

They really do make this game worse with every update. They just keep nerfing the champions and make everything more and more expensive.

This game has been good, with good updates. This last update introduced a new $75 way to upgrade your character and took away the decent opportunity to roll for the 5 star character you need to finish the game. There is a new system that is supposed to let you trade old characters for a new upgrade currency but we have traded several and gotten nothing Give this a miss until they fix it.

Latest update: Very frustrating that ads freeze up when you try & close them which causes you to lose rewards! The updates have added more content and characters which is great and the game looks beautiful but they still havent fixed duplicate characters when summoning. We wouldnt mind it it was limited to 23 duplicates, but we have summoned the same characters 4+ times. We would rather pay cash for new characters A lot of grinding required. We wish there was a way of cashing in extra lower level champions towards gold and summoning stones so you can use them to purchase more summoning stones for a chance for better weapons and/or Champions Update: This is a good game that could become a great game with a little tweaking. We loved the previous Warhammer Quest and Warhammer Quest 2 games, and played both it through with all the characters, including the premium characters you paid extra for. This is a different type of game than those two. Gaining new characters require collecting enough summoning stones, which are very slow to gain without spending money. The premium characters cost more to summon (250 stones vs 100 stones for a normal summons) The advantages of the Epic Summon are that the characters can increase their levels further and have additional boons or perks which can be used to strengthen and customize your character further. Our issues are that even when you obtain enough summoning stones, the summoning seems random and you get duplicate characters. You can scrap/sell back unwanted characters (for experience points that you use to advance your characters) and items (for gold). The problem is that you dont get much experience points for scrapping a duplicate or unwanted character. We wish you could scrap champions for either, a portion of their summoning stones you spent or experience points (and more than the measly amounts you currently can get) we also wish the game would NOT allow duplicate character classes until you have obtain one of each class. Those two changes would greatly improve the game IMHO.

We posted TWO reviews. Once to give a decent review, but with issues. The second was to correct our first one. We have received no feedback on either. Understandable, however… We cannot find either of our reviews on your list of reviews. We choose to look through ALL reviews, and even sorted by stars so we could look exactly in the number we gave. We cannot find ours. Further, we cannot find any 1* reviews younger than 2 years (I made screenshots just in case, never know). So, this further backs our claims that the developers of this game are gaming the system to make money. We suggest the company responds, and also stops hiding bad press. If you did it, own up to it. If you hide it, thats criminal.

Be prepared to drop 100s of dollars if you want any progression. You get nearly nothing for rewards from game. Just another upgrade star rank game where you are forced to spend heaps of money to try out new hero combinations in your party. Once you get a new hero you cant use it in pvp until you unlock it. The game may force you to be star rating 4 just to use the hero you already own if you want to try it out in pvp. So be prepared to spend 100s of dollars just to try a hero out that you might not like and never want to use again. Sound fun?

Too many missions of tap here do this. Hey developers. We want play your game not a an interactive real time event after waiting for this to download. Ill keep going, maybe, but why do they always do this.

Great warhammer turn based game. Only issue is all the bonus chests and rewards requires watching ads, so in an hour easy to watch 20 ads (or even more). Would happily pay up to $20 for the ability to bypass all ads like many other games have.

Perhaps like many others, we got this because we enjoyed Warhammer Quest we and (to a lesser extent) II. Had they pretty much copied what was there, this would have been at least as good. Instead, in seemingly all the ways that were changed, mistakes were made. You start with two champs, get a free basic third, and you can scrape together enough summoning currency to get a (good) fourth. Youd better like what you get, though, because youre stuck with those champs for a long time. After ten hours, we dont have enough to summon even a basic fifth summon, and it seems like the only way to get more is to pay money. They talk about the Friday quest to get more, but there isnt summoning currency doled out, and its only once a week, at that. You cant even rename your champs. Why? That seems like something very simple that we could do as far back as Quest I. Why take that mechanic away? Each champ gets one item and at least one boon, which are bonuses like +1% accuracy. Thats what passes for an inventory. Better champs get more boons, but still only one item. The better the champ, the more boons, so here again, you need to summon more. You can use gold to get more items and boons, but nothing that helps the broken summon mechanic. XP progression, at least seems good, if nothing else. The levels are almost painfully repetitive. Most of the time, youll be in a single corridor of two types: thin, and really thin. Theres a gauntlet board that is the same every time. Theres one roughly rectangular board. Thats all. There no fog of war- you see the whole thing from go. It seems like theres little randomization; we already feel like we’ve seen it all. Other games that rely on drawing champs give you frequent draws with relatively low rates for the best summons, and options if you get repeats. They also rely on a large pool of champs to give options to players who may or may not like the champs that they get. As others have mentioned, theres none of that here. You can sell a champ you dont like, but you dont get summoning tokens back: the grind starts again. This is the kind of game that we should love, and in countless other iterations, we do. Instead, it seems like a failed experiment and a cash grab. Right now: stay away. Theres things they can do to improve this, but they need to do more. A lot more.

Perfectly good game made boring, tedious and super unrealistic with weird death zones. What dungeon or battle field has a special rule that you are supposed to move out of certain areas during the battle? Dumb,

We had been really enjoying the game, but nerfing the Necromancer that we put money into ends it for us. Try adding challenging scenarios to counter the character next time. But for us, there wont be a next time. Why play a character building game when you know the developer will rewrite the rules. It didnt improve our experience. Thats for sure.

Never before will you have had such an easy time getting more stuff in game! All you have to do is watch at least one ad after every. Single. Fight! Easy! Even daily extra currency revolves around watching multiple ads in a row bc the game is so poorly done that have to force ad revenue. Not to worry though friend, if you do enjoy the game, some very lacking of detail models for all the characters will be there waiting to remind you that all you gotta do is spend more for flat ugly pixels.

It does everything well, and the graphics are excellent.

Dont like this game. It is all about spending, and very little about game play. It is a constant grind. Difficult to get heroes with out making a purchase. And it doesnt take long for everything to become dull and repetitive. The intention of this game is clear; keep milking you for money. In an effort to discourage this type of game, we actually went and bought the expansions to Warhammer Quest 2. That game was far far superior to this on. It is sad to see a sequel fall so far from the originals.

March 2nd – still no redesign of hero summoning to avoid the possibility of hundreds of dollars of spending or hundreds of hours grinding in order to get a higher star level team of specific alliances. Until then – no money. Nov 19th – the Dev response below does not address our points at all. Things that need to change: 1. Ability to rename characters. 2. Break Audio controls into FX and Music – allow Apple Music to play customer selected music at the same time that FX run. 3. Change the God awful summoning stone mechanics. Getting the 3rd Rat Shaman in the same day after saving stones for months when trying to get the higher level Chaos Sorcerer is beyond annoying. We understand you need your gotcha money but do it in a way that is not insanely frustrating. Make shards or other assembly collectible or purchase item that will allow certain buys based upon grinding or specific purchase. As it stands now, Ill only play this maybe once a month and will spend no more money.

Higher level combat is waste of time tweak the probability tables so odds are adjusted against player. Lazy design decisions or maybe just release it mentality. But it looks good, right.?

One cause game wont load, stops loading on title screen at sign in.

Please fix the constant crashing.

Need more interactions with other players and this game would be a gem.

Fun to play and doesn’t require a huge time commitment. That said it crashes a LOT on our older iPad. Not sure why there is so much instability. One day it runs great, next day constant crashes. Hope it gets a bug fix as it is hard to advance when you never knowmif the game is going to clean or not.

We really like the game and it is fun but our game has started to crash when we are one hit away from winning so please fix that but other than that it is a fun game.

We loved Warhammer on iOS. Was amazing. Saw this version had a new update and we were excited to try it out. Spent a few $$ to get going on a good summons. Well worth it. The game is awesome! However, it constantly crashes. Apparently the new update is not completely ready to go. Im on an iPhone 12 Pro, so not lacking in specs, and playing on WiFi so not lacking in bandwidth. Ill give a 5 star as soon as its fixed enough for us to actually play.

The first time it happened we were motivated to keep trying because it seems like a fun game. Eventually, after maybe 5 crashes, we were able to complete the battle. Now its happened again and it has crashed 3 times. Im done for now.

We can see it being a grind. We however wont have much of a chance to try it out for long. After the first minute or so the audio goes out and then the video gets choppy. Eventually crashes. Bummer.

Original WQ had an RPG feel and felt rooted in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, had a lot of character. This knock off pales in comparison. Missions are repetitive, lack character and flavor, and missions themselves tend to be significantly shorter than the 30 second ads you are made to watch to ensure full rewards. Leveling system is boring, weapons are repetitive and dont stand out. Nothing exciting about mechanics or gameplay. Do not recommend unless you for some reason wanted your original WQ game to feel like a pay to win (is not a pay to win, but has that same grindy hope they get addicted and spend lots of cash vibe).

Very fun old school turn by turn strategy game! Love it!!

Phone settings are correct but no sound. Great game otherwise. Nice quick battles, easy character development and unique paper doll mechanic. We can see myself playing this enough to drop a few bucks on.

See title, crashes frequently.

Rodeos Warhammer Quest 1 was the absolute platinum standard for this game to follow and Perchang literally needed to only copy that formula and expand the available content. We happily shelled out money for all the expansion characters, both extra provinces to explore, the item pack, and the expanded dungeon and monster pack on BOTH PC and mobile for Warhammer Quest 1. That is how amazing the game is and we more than got our moneys worth with more than 100 hours playing on steam and probably twice that on our phone. Warhammer Quest 2 was a passable game but it was completely lacking in the complexity of hero development (when compared to WH1) to cite only the most important of many issues. The Silver Tower is a disaster from the beginning as soon as heroes have a rarity system assigned to them. The heroes who are not 5 star versions of themselves will never serve any purpose (unless they have introduced an upgrading or trading in system since we stopped playing) and the 5 star heroes are extremely costly, using your most precious resource. The issues with recruiting heroes (as well as the other lackluster parts of the game) have been covered fairly extensively by other posters, so we will simply reiterate that despite the expense, you can continue to pull the exact same hero over and over again when using 150 summoning stones (cash equivalent approximately $6) per spin. We also particularly despise this game because nearly all the missions are (more or less) combat engagements that take place in a single room. Sometimes there is a wall down the middle and two archways or something like that, but for the most part, it is very close quarters from start to finish with little to no dungeon crawling as in WH1 and WH2 that was so exciting. In WH1 this aspect of the game was what allowed for so much of the tactical gameplay, utilizing hero skills and tides of magic. Silver Tower is a sad game in comparison to WH2 and beneath contempt compared to WH1. It is not hard to understand that a game with micro transactions like Silver Tower will almost invariably make more money than a game with fixed costs for in app purchases of all the extra available content like Warhammer Quest 1. However, it also follows that any game using micro transactions as a fundamental necessity to succeed in their gameplay will always be an inferior product.

We like the premise and franchise but it is very glitchy. We keep getting a crash after attempting a mission that affects other levels after we reopen the game. The only solution so far is to uninstall and reinstall.

The game is literally unplayable on our iPhone Xs, as after the first round of combat(and sometimes even in the main menu) the game will begin to stutter and eventually crash. We’ve tried different levels, champions, graphics settings, reinstall, and nothing helped resolve the issue. Someone reported a similar issue in September.

Update: The most recent update cleared up crashing issues just in time for The Crucible. Thanks! We just started playing the game a few weeks ago and it was running fine right up until this last update. Since the app update last week, we are able to get in a few levels in and then the game will crash after three moves in a given level and it happens on both cellular and our wifi. Its been really frustrating because we really dig the game.

Great time, we like the little abilities all the characters have and any game that lets us play as a good beast men is automatically good in our book.

Im having force closing problems and the game will slow down out of nowhere.

Love this game but since the last two patches the games freezes where Im unable to play. We figured the most recent patch would of fixed it, no. Games still freezes.

Played well for a day, now it is unplayable.

Constantly crashes as soon as we open the game havnt even played in 2 days cuz game wont stay open.

Warhammer Quest gave you access to several heroes, with ways to get more (which did include IAPs). But you could have a full party and a very satisfying game without money. Whats more, you were able to buy the exact character you wanted. Here, you get 2 characters to start, a definite sense that you really need more than those 2, a very sloooooooooow way to grind the currency you need to get more (which path can be lubricated with $$), and a lottery for when youre ready to spend those precious summoning stones. We love Warhammer but we really wish theyd games where sufficient monetization plus excellent gameplay was the priority, instead of decent gameplay plus maximum monetization. Oh well. Im 10 summoning stones from our next character. Ill see what it is before we decide whether or not to delete.

If you put ads in your game, we instantly uninstall… As we did with this game. And yeah, we love Warhammer…

Was playing every day… But sadly the game cannot start anymore. Just freezes on the title splash. Dont waste your time.

Dont even bother downloading this. Seriously. Absolutely lousy with ads, no option to purchase packs as you did in the prior game, effectively impossible to get invested because you spawn on a board, kill some dudes and thats it. Go buy XCOM, or XCOM 2. Theyre actually ad free because youre buying the whole game, and its infinitely better while still providing bite sized accessibility. If aliens arent your thing, get WHQ (still the original and fantastic) or WHQ2 (decent if not quite as good as the original) but by all means avoid this game.

This game is a little how can we say it…. Subdued… As others have pointed out the summoning stones uses to get heros are hard to come by. Also if you watch the ad for an extra chest we’ve noticed that you get a duplicate chest of the one you just got. It would be nice to see it more randomized with every chest. Its a good game, It just feels too much like a cash grab. Id rather have paid $5 usd and had better loot. As is its a nice distraction from lifes curveballs …. Thanks 2020!
