We cant use the app on our phone anymore. Also the app wont let us contact developer to get help. Says url is wrong. We’ve invested a lot of money and time in the game and now we cant open the app or get help. Beware.
Customer service is an absolute JOKE. Send in help tickets for various reasons, only to receive this message here: Hey there (player name), (Employee name) here. Thanks for making us aware of (valid issue). We u swear and your frustration about (issue) & we will present (said issue) onto the next person (is what they actually should write) and Ill update your ticket once were done looking into it. Please reply should you need anything further. Thanks & have a wonderful day. The catch to this message is that NOTHING ever gets addressed to the players satisfaction. They just take the money & run. And we guess this is just your typical MZ app. Its easy now to see why folks take their money elsewhere, for the folks that do spend on games.
Unfortunately this game glitches often and has a very poor interface, often events in the game dont function properly. The game lacks a tutorial, communication is very poor. Many of the skills or settings in the game arent functional or dont function as advertised. The developers dont really police abusive players on chat, it almost seems as if they are enabled by the developers. Requires never ending in app purchases. If there ever was a scam this would be it.
If you enjoy receiving automated replies from a customer service team that doesnt even read your complaints, well this game is for you! The customer service team simply forwards all complaints to the developers but dont follow up to see if the issue has been resolved. The graveyard shift manager at Wal-Mart has better customer service skills than World War Rising.
Do not play this game. We played this game for 2 years. It requires lots of money to be competitive. Further, the developers are not supporting the game. The events are always screwed up. Always. And the developers do not even understand how the game works. If you want to waste your money and be frustrated with a game. Then this is the one for you.
So theres a lot to love about this game, and almost all of it revolves around the amazing people you will meet who become your teammates. We’ve played WWR for over 3 years and the teammates we’ve bonded with are the reason why we still play. We say that to preface why so many people are quitting this game right now. WWR is the latest war game in the line of Game of War, Mobile Strike, FF, etc. To give you a sense of what has happened with this game, in the Spring of 2019, a typical Kill Event involved 15-20 regions. Now in our timeline, there are only 3 regions left. The devs merge regions when players begin to quit the game. Weve gone from 15-20 full regions, to 3 regions, and none of those are full. So the game has lost the majority of its players. The game glitches constantly. The blog will post about upcoming events. Often there will be events where the blog says your troops will have a boost, or your troops wont die. Then the event starts, and your troops die! You send in a support ticket, they claim the event worked as it was supposed to. You send them a screenshot of the blog post that shows the event glitched, and they still claim it worked correctly. Case in point, right now the game is running Fortress events every week or two. If your alliance can capture a Fortress, then the entire alliance gets massive boosts. The blog clearly states that these boosts expire at the end of the Fortress event. But they arent. Alliances are still holding the fortresses weeks later. And support is notified and refuses to do anything. So everyone stays bubbled and no one plays the game. Activity is plummeting and Im sure sales are as well. They are now offering things in packs that they have never offered before, like 100% base attacking hospitalization boost (breaks the game, the attacker cannot lose troops), and instant completion of brand new research trees. We suspect the game will have to fold in another 6-12 months. Its sad as it has so much potential, but horrible support and devs that only cater to their platinum spenders.
This game would be awesome if it were cheaper! If you want to be competitive you have to spend $2k plus to get your base going really well. The devs of this game dont care about you or your issues with the game!! Dont waste your time or money-trust us on that, we wish we hadnt wasted so much!!!
Dont bother with this game. There are plenty of other games to play that wont make you feel cheated and screwed over. TRUST ME play another game. They start with $5 packs that very soon cost $100 and somehow offer less materials. You spend $100 for maybe 1.5 hours of something to do you do the math. There are constant glitches also. You buy a pack, use the materials in a event only for there to be a glitch and you dont get your points or rewards from the event and then they mail you all later offering a tiny fraction of the material you wasted because of their mess up! TRUST ME, PLAY ANOTHER GAME!
This game is impossible to play if you do not have the means to spend at least $100 every few days. All upgrades run on timers, so even if you have the resources, it could be hundreds of days before an upgrade is available to you. As we type this, we are working on an upgrade that will require over 200 days before we can use it. In contrast, the game developers have a means of playing for free, which ensures they have the best bases and equipment. They basically get to bully players that are actually trying to play for free. It is very frustrating to build up your base using what is available, just to have someone who did not have to pay for anything come and burn it down while you were not looking at your phone.
In you have access to spend lots of money, youll do well in this game. The high level strong characters and weapons require an endless amount of $$$ to keep upgrading. If your looking for a slow pace build and grow as you want this game is not for you. In order to do have of the in game events, to get rewards to advance your base, you have to spend $$$ to participate.
DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME It is fine if you have a lot of money to spend. The packs are 100 bucks a piece and you might get to level up 2 levels. If you want to compete with the 80 level guys you need thousands of dollars. Tech support shares your data with other players, we have proof. This game is a waste of money. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME.
The support is terrible. MZ is greedy. The amount of bugs and errors this game has for the amount of money we spend is ridiculous. Lost over 15 million troops because their notification system failed. Lost over 300 million gold once because of a game update. Missing items. Missing rewards. Missing purchases. The list goes on and on and on. With terrible help and support from MZ. And no fixes or compensation. $100 to research one thing once you get to certain levels is asinine. Your better taking your money and time elsewhere.
We had emailed many times about the Chest ( Free Gift ) not opening and get told theyre looking into it. We have tried on another device and also uninstalled/ reinstalled same effects. Now its almost a month without resolve.
This game is for those that can and will spend 100 dollars or more a week beware is not for those that dont want spend events are set so only the spenders can achieve the tiers and points need.
They must have just updated the game, but now we get prompted to allow tracking "for more personalized advertising" and don’t have the option to not allow tracking. This is a violation and not acceptable.
This game started out fun. Building up and battling was easy to do. Now, the costs to be a decent player are astronomical while the action has subsided, depending on the region youre in. The developers are slow and vague in responses and little is done to truly improve the game.
This game started off well. But it goes down hill and never gets better. The thing that gets you is the people. You build friendships and you keep coming back for that. But honestly, its no way to play for free. Literally, NO WAY TO PLAY FOR FREE. You are going to spend money, and a lot of it, it you actually want to play. Otherwise youre only playing for the social aspect. On top of that the game messes up A LOT! Packs (which are really expensive) sometimes miss things. There is false advertising, you will buy something as it reads, but in reality need to buy something else to use those items. Its always a catch. And to top everything off. Support is absolute crap. Its a bunch of robots sending generic copy and pasted responses over and over. And they will tell you were letting our team know or give you some totally useless slap in the face gifts and hope you give up messaging them. Im actually very disappointed we are playing again. This game should face lawsuits and should be shut down. So take our advice and DO NOT play this game or anything like it.
This game has changed a lot… There are more pack discounts available in the older regions now. We barely spend at all because we can get almost everything we need in events. Easy events like click help to speed up your alliances builds- and boom- rewards for 3 different events. Max hit a syndicate and hit the flash and token events.. Rewards have been decent. They hand out free upgrades now and then, like an instant cc90 that includes all buildings, research. This helps players catch up and evens out the playing field. Those who are spending a lot and getting nowhere are going about it the wrong way. There are forums and videos dedicated to WWR that will help you learn the game. We recently got a new phone and many of our lag issues are gone. We also started a new account in a brand new region out of curiosity. It is different now. You can get by on $5 packs in the new regions. $5 options used to disappear after spending, but youll keep getting $5 offers as long as you stick to those and ignore the high $ options. All you need in the new cc30 regions is a Hannibal and youll be able to grow without bigger players farming all your resources. Just train a few troops to send to tiles for gold, emblems and materials. Wait until youre strong and have done your research before training a lot of troops. This is if youre looking to not spend- and grow at a normal pace. You can enjoy the game without spending a fortune. Get to know events and keep track of the days they run. Manufacturing events so you always have fuel. Missions for materials and hero xp. Keep Hannibal in your base, low troops and those cc20-30 bases with high vip wont be able to burn you.
Lots of road blocks, after a year and a half its still the same stuff, cant do this because you dont have that, fuel plans are now our big issue and probably why we will leave the game, Im at cc85 fuel extractor is at 58, no plans to be found outside of the $100 pack they offered a few weeks ago, others have run into similar issue with prison plans, but no fuel, cant move and thats a problem. A lot of toxic behavior in the players holding heros after elimination is available. If you dont have a pill you are screwed for the time plus an extra 24 hours depending. No hero, it screws you in other areas. Anyways the review is honest and we think most stay for their team, we did.
The game itself can be very fun with both the social aspect and the game strategy. However, the game is very glitchy. There are constant problems with events and rewards. The customer service is seems automated and never actually resolves any of your issues. Its pointless to contact them asking for help and support, they are anything but help and support. If it were not for the social part of the game and some of the strategy, this would have been a 1 star rating. Even with all the money that players spend.
If you are willing to spend thousands of dollars on this game then this game is right for you. Youre wasting your time down loading this game. The developers have set up the game in such a way that you cant compete unless you buy packages. First package $4.99 second 19.99 then 49.99 next 79.99 then every package afterwards is $100.00. There are always several idiots in this game who dont have a life who buys the package with the next item in it so they can dominate which if youre going to compete youll have to fork out $100.00. There are people in this game who have spent thousands of dollars playing. What (hooked) idiots. Dont waste your time and ESPECIALLY your money. Unless you still live at home in your parents basement.
Used to be a good fun game. Been going down hill and with the changes last couple of months game is trashed. ALL of your troops will get wiped out by a single attack. Itll take you months to rebuild unless you buy and buy and buy and buy.
We have been playing this game about a year now and while we enjoy the social aspects and the syndicates the game is expensive and when there is a problem which seems to be happening more and more the customer service representatives are not able to reimburse you for their mistakes even though you have hit the tears need it for different awards and have collected materials needed. Currently, for the second time in a row, you complete an event but it never registers that you completed it or you are unable to complete certain events. This game is a lot of fun and you can make some really awesome friends but know that you will spend a lot of money and you will not get your moneys worth and the support team is not able to or willing to help you. Tickets get submitted and the representatives dont even bother addressing all of the issues you list in your ticket. You work with your friends and teammates in the alliance against other teams within the game. Money gets you farther but if you are just wanting to hit syndicates and be slow and not finish the events then you can do this with very little money. Five dollars is the initial starting cost and quickly goes up to 20 and all the way up to 100 and a new pack will not give you all that you need.
There are always problems with this game. Not only do you purchase packs for $99+ , they make mistakes all the time and take your purchased items away and send a sorry message. We’ve had to contact our credit card for refunds (thankfully). Its never their fault for mistakes and they think they can just keep taking your money. Good luck if you want to play. (Tip: buy someones account from them )
Game play is smooth and awesome people to play with. A little glitchy in events but overall good.
This game is fairly easy to play, however the best player are dumping thousands of dollars to lvl up. Also, event communication is almost nonexistent.
Great game! The more you spend on it the faster you will advance, but plenty of fun on for little expense.
We have been playing this game for almost a year now and we find it very enjoyable and addictive. The graphics are great and the moving of levels is a nice easy progression. If there is any complaints, we would say it is the high cost of packages that are offered. $99 is high and especially with this economy and with a high number of people unemployed. Can we recommend an occasional bonus package at a lower price (say $4.99). Im certain more people would be receptive to that. Thanks for the good work on the game.
Its a fun game, you make friends very easily. We like the graphics and prizes have gotten better. However, after buying the $5, $20 packs the price rises to $99. We think prices need to vary , speaking for myself we cannot buy many $99 packs.
This game is ok to play. What makes the game somewhat work is the people in your alliance. If you play be sure to get a good alliance. Thats the ONLY reason to play. There is some really fun and knowledgeable players. The right alliance of good people makes the game fun. There are some good ideas and concepts through the game. The developers of this game do have some good ideas. There is a chance this game could be one that you dont want to put down. This game is loaded with glitches and boots you out several times a day. Some days you cant play for hours due to login glitches. At some point most people buy packs. Its part of the game. But what you need to know… You dont get whats advertised or they change something without telling you or listing the change. During events of different kind (which happen weekly) there are packs for it. Be ware of buying these packs. More times than not… You buy the pack and the event does work so they change the event or they dont give you the supplies listed in the pack. If by chance the event or challenge is not changed and you get the supplies listed from the pack, a glitch will prevent you from using the supplies. At best the game packs listed and events are bait and switch. More accurately they are fraudulent attempts to take your money and give you nothing useable in return. Customer service is not very good either. After making several attempts to solve the issues us and many other players had, they dont even respond to the issue. You can send a help ticket through the Zen desk. But you will waist your time. They refuse to follow up with you nor will they refund or credit your account. Each time our ticket has been closed immediately without any follow up other than the auto generated response.
After you get the 5.00 pack the pack go up to 20.00 after that 49.00 and finally everything is 99.00 and they keep trying to make you buy and spend money on everything if you want to level up get better gear and a lot of other things you will have to spend a lot of money on this game that you dont own so its a waste of money.
We’ve purchased a few packages at $4.99. We really enjoyed this game until we got to the 18th level when your fuel is automatically upgraded to T2. Only thing is you have to buy a $49.99 package to upgrade your fuel. Without fuel you cannot create a peace shield. Thats the only way to protect your base from being scouted or attacked. So dumb. We keep waiting to see if its offered on a smaller package but still nothing.
They make you believe you can play free but dont give out rewards you need to grow once the base level get ls past cc30. Make you believe if you buy you can compete but only makes you more expensive prey. They mess up events all the time and their only answer is buy more packs. So if youre a wallet warrior this game is for you. Cant do any damage to another base or get them to stop doing anything because you cant hurt each other unless youre offline and unshielded or you spend thousands a week. Mz trap.
Dont waste your time or money. The game is an endless trap where you can never get ahead. Software is buggy. When you send in support request the response is from a cue card. When you buy packs the contents have limited use or are useless. Many people have been sucked in to this trap and many are leaving. They only care about how much $$ they can siphon out of your account.
After playing Game of War, Mobile Strike and Final Fantasy for the past 7 years, MZ (or whoever owns them now) has finally given up on making any sort of effort to satisfy their customers who spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on this game. Yes, the engine is still the same as the provokes games, but the people in charge of the events and graphics are simply phoning it in at this point and dont care at all about the quality of their product. After over a year in Carbon 331, we still get the same problems. Events that are inconsistent with their weekly announced schedules, points that are not correctly rewarded, and graphical glitches despite playing on the newest devices. This is such a shame since the engine of this game was already established and successful. It may finally be time to stop handing them our money and delete this app for good.
Do NOT start this game!!!! If you buy anything, the value of what you bought QUICKLY diminishes. We are embarrassed and depressed at how much we spent on this game. It should be illegal for them to charge that much for items and then to take away the value of what you bought so quickly. Once you spend $5, they start only showing $20 options, then onto $50 and $100 It should also be illegal that they dont show you the smaller $ packs that they show other people. Completely evil and brilliant business scheme.
The customer service is absolutely horrible, the game is a money pit, players can only be competitive if they spent a butt load of money. Why/how people spend thousands of dollars on this mediocre game is beyond our appreciation. The game constantly glitches, the developers must be minor league.
Were always wrong for games glitches so we get screwed on it not only that all they want is money from us we spent 1000s on this game to constantly get messed over by the developers we wont spend more money on this or mobile strike.
This app has so many glitches and when the developers are called out on it, they ignore it. Its impossible to climb the ladder in the game without spending money.
Fix your start times. Blog has super mash event starting at 5pm PST and it started at 4pm PST.
The largest Command Centers always attack 10 lvls below them for kills.. Should be and 8 CC range for attacking.. You can never get ahead.. Im about done.
Before spending any money on this game, watch the Dave Chapelle skit, Pop Copy. That is how you will be treated anytime you contact customer service.
So we’ve played the game for several months now and we can definitely say its a pointless strategy game unless youre willing to spend actual money… And a LOT of money. When you start, in game packs start at $4.99, then $19.99, then $49.99, then $74.99 then they LOCK at $99.99. If you dont consistently spend hundreds of dollars every week you will not be able to play competitively.. At all. Im not joking. The only strategy is to have a huge credit card. Players who have spent thousands of actual money will always dominate. There is no strategy to beat high-paying players. You will always lose to them in combat regardless of your strategy. Purchase packs contain things required for upgrading your base. So unless you buy these $99.99 packs consistently, you will remain on the bottom. Always. Finally, the support team is absolutely atrocious. Responses are usually the same copy/paste responses theyve given to everyone else. Absolutely horrible. We personally spent a few hundred dollars playing this game and absolutely regret doing so.
We played this game for over 2 years now and we are at level 115. We used to buy a pack every week and sometimes more. We finally called it a quite because of all the tile hitter. It become extremely hard to find tiles to begin with, we will spend 2 hours every day looking for them to come back the next day and find out they all got killed. We sent so many tickets to dev and they didnt even acknowledge or understood the problem. Also, troop training after t7 become very expensive and every time they come with a new event you have to buy a pack to participate. The game become very dull and very expensive to progress to stay competitive, and the reward are outdated that we still get t1 rewards for doing missions and farming syndicates. The amount of t6 and t7 rss needed to upgrade or do research is outrages. To solve this, they came up with yet another research to lower it down – what a joke. So good buy, it was fun when it lasted Thats the problem.
This is a great game! We gave it five stars because it is a lot of fun to play. There is always something to build or research as long as you have the resources to do it. So get busy farming and upgrading your walls and defenses and dont worry about creating an army until you are at least at level 5. And then it is all about resources, resources, resources. Have fun and enjoy!

Great game but the packs are pricy could use some discounts.
The concept and game play is fun, but the company has no problem with taking youre money for items and then you find out you cant even use them in the game or items expire immediately after purchase. These guys are are just out for your wallet with absolutely no concern about their customers.
The game is very fun but the only problem to us is non needed things just sit there a waste of space we would like non needed things to be giftable. Legend noob.
