Dive into Blackwell 2: Unbound

The second game in Wadjet Eye’s Blackwell mystery adventure series

The year is 1973. The sound of a lone, ethereal saxophone drifts over the Roosevelt Island promenade, while a series of accidents plague a midtown construction site. The citizens of Manhattan take no notice of these events… but are they connected?

Embittered medium Lauren Blackwell (aunt of Rosa Blackwell) and her spirit guide Joey Mallone are the only ones who believe that there is anything strange going on, and they are the only ones who can stop an enigmatic killer from striking again…

This is the second in the series begun by "Blackwell 1: Legacy" (available now). The story is concluded in "Blackwell 3: Convergence" (available now), "Blackwell 4: Deception" (coming soon), and "Blackwell 5: Epiphany" (coming soon).

Just Adventure – "I can’t recommend this game enough. It has been one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had."
Adventure Gamers – "There are some fine examples of adventure game writing here, and they clearly show the potential this series has." 3.5/5
Gamezebo – "Blackwell Unbound is a fun adventure worth clicking through." 3.5/5

Bought all of these and they sucked us in. We loved playing them and Im sad its over. If you like point and clicks you will love these. Id love to see some more Blackwell games, maybe a few prequels or sequels.

Wonderful series, perfect for iOS. Interesting, adult, serious – unlike most of that genre, so feels unique.

This game was so much fun. We love the storyline & characters. Great soundtrack. Worth every penny. The puzzles are just right. A must play!

Love this series, however it’s definitely only worth $1.99. You’ll play through this in 1 sitting easily.

Love the game but we’re stuck typing "Columbia University" to search for phone number in the phone book. We’re on a new Macbook and can only type in "Columbia Universit" and it will not give our number. Sadly, we can’t finish the game.

This is the 2nd game in the series that we have bought, and both were buggy to the point of being unplayable. Don’t waste your money!

Mystery of bad woman continues there. Love all games in the series.

Please make more of these types of games. I’d much rather play games with great stories, ambience, and voice acting than slick graphics with a bunch of hidden objects.

You will be craving to play this after the first Blackwell game.

Im writing this after we finished the 3rd part… 1st part 5 stars, 2nd part 5,5 stars, 3rd part 6 stars!!! Cant wait until part 4 and 5 will be available on the iPad!!! Everybody don’t forget to play gemini rue, another wadjet eye mind blowing masterpiece!!! (Im not affiliated with wadjet eye, just a huge fan!)

The best one available on iOS. Love the use of the limitation of technologies. Lauren is a much more interesting character than her niece.

The game is short, you can easily finish in an hour or less but it’s a great game.

We really enjoyed this one. It was nice to see a bit about Auntie Lauren. This seemed a bit longer than the first one which was nice. Definitely worth playing.
