We were in a pro level and then we lost everything now we can start as a beginner anything before us.
Having 11 million dollars it would be great to have something to spend it on that is worthwhile.
We remember we first play this game in around 2015the main chapter which can play with Denis and other AI players impressed us alot .But now we cant find that modehas it been deleted at all.
The campaign mode is super fun but when we play the start match challenge we shoot our tee shot and then it says we timed out our shot even though it doesnt let us shoot.
Just had an opponent shoot a minus 27 from 1st tee Sequoia In, 9 hole par 36. If our math is right , it appears it only took him 9 shots to complete round , meaning he had a hole in one on every hole. While the graphics are the best, the realism is lacking when compared to real world golf play. But if do not mind $$$ you can purchase all sorts of stuff that can lead you to perfection.
Won't let us down load new version.
Im new to this game and still trying to adjust to its nuances. We are finding it challenging but not to the extent that frustrates. When we do something right its that much more satisfying. The graphics are great and it seems to react smoothly even on an older iPad.
We have kept this game longer than any of the others. Some newer games have real courses in them, but the actual play just isnt as much fun. Golf Star has also been listed editors choice for a long time. If the added real courses and full 18 hole play they would get a 5 from us.
Love the game, we need our account back.
Every time you match play somebody, they are absolutely horrendous and only shoot very small shots. After they do that you get timed out and a penalty. So even though it took them five strokes to get to the hole, you were there in one you still have a double bogey on a par three. Do better guys come on.

This game crashes a lot very frustrating. They try and say your computer is too weak but it happens to everybody a lot. The match challenge is almost unplayable.
Ive been playing this game for years and have current updates etc. We do not want to lose all of our progress. How can we get back into the game.
We love this game but you need to fix issue with game freezing most times it is when you are playing in a match challenge and tournaments but not exclusively always when you are playing against a live person. Have to leave out come back in and lose match.
The one thing we dont like about this game is that you need a extremely good set of clubs to hit it far. The stock clubs dont go as far and we think you should change that to make it that every club is slightly similar. We also think this game is extremely unrealistic.
Enjoy the game a lot. The connection to competition mode is really weak. Needs much improvement.
We enjoy playing and have been going so for several years now. It compliments the real game (we actually play golf) The thought process and course management of the game is similar to the thinking process we use on the golf course. Lately however, we experience freezes and have to log on once or twice during games which puts us at a disadvantage.
It's an awesome game, but it does have connectivity issues and crashes a lot when playing a match against another player. Seldomly crashes doing tour mode, campaign mode, or practice mode, but whats the point of this game if it crashes a lot trying to do match play. Lost many matches due to the crashing even though a win was in the bag!! This ends up ruining your match play record. Need to fix this on next update please.
Overall, this game is really good but when we play live games it times us out automatically. We dont even get a chance to play and it does it every time so we lose matches over and over again because it says Ive timed out three times in a matter of a split second ,very frustrating.
Its time to make some changes in the tournament format and career mode. This game has potential to be the best golf game. But its lacks fun play and you will get bored easy after playing it for awhile. Lot of the successful golf games keep updates on a recent based. To keep their ratings up. Its time for a upgrade.

Really decent game with items you can use to help you with distance, accuracy and with wind. There are many different courses but you have to climb in rank in order to unlock them which is an incentive while challenging. Developer offers upgrades and costume changes you can get with earnings as you advance. Now the negative! You can watch videos which usually last around 30 seconds to get coins. Almost every time after watching the videos and closing it out the game freezes and crashes and you dont get your coins. Totally annoying and frustrating. Needs fixed Updated 5/11/22: They have done a decent job fixing the ad bug, but another issue is earning and getting costume tickets and not being rewarded. We literally have earned enough for 15 costume upgrades which should come with stat increases and each time they dont honor it and give a compensation package which is always 3 costume tickets and 1 premium ticket. Another issue is the developer has taken away shots that you will need to navigate the course that you once had and earned for no reason. Needs addressed to let the user use all shots at any time in the game without blocking them out.
New update is in, Ive been disconnected from the game 5x already, whats going on.
Great game that Ive been playing for years, but the app keeps freezing on iOS, which makes it frustrating to play. We have to close and open the app so many times to catch up on live play.
This game was great. Now there is another cheat that allows users to get a hole in one whenever they want. It has ruined the fun of this game. Contacting support does no good and has been this way for close to a year. If they fix it we would recommend but we would not spend a dime on this game any time soon.
This game needs an accessibility feature for blind and vision impaired players like ourselves. We would love to try to play this game. But we cant figure it out.
Impossible hole locations Bad putting interface.
Really inconsistent in many ways. Aiming is one but more frustrating is the constant need to reconnect, sometimes you have to exit the app completely. If this happens you forfeit the match and it can be costly on resources. We brought this up and the support told us it was our connection but this is the ONLY game that does this. We can play Modern Warfare 3 on our ps5 and not have a problem but our internet isnt good enough for an app on our phone right. It could be pretty awesome, but not there yet.
As many others have mentioned, it's really inconsistent. It's more a game of luck than skill at this point. Putting specifically. There's absolutely no point in the using the "putting guides".
Got a problem with game, dont bother submitting issue/issues here unless you just want to receive a response similar to the ones already posted here from the GolfStar gurus. You can also contact them thru the games hive & receive a response that is almost guaranteed to not fix the issue nor address the issue with the info you provided. We are so sorry that you are having an issue or not enjoying the game, we will forward this to our developers who will jump right on it, trust us.
Our game, for the past few months has been requiring us to download new content every time we log in. Also, now we cant even enter a round without the game shutting down on us. Please fix.
Have been telling these developers to ban chip-ins from putting surface for over 2 years but they couldnt change that. Every week same championship games in same order and same conditions.only the wind speed changes but all tee, course stay same. This game has become lame as they have put bots in the game so normal players cant be number 1.
If you do not drop big money on this game then you better enjoy losing all the time.
Stays at splash screen. Been this was for at least a week.
Great game — play it all the time. But the recent update took a lot of fun out of it. Or maybe we advanced too far. Now most of our shot choices are grayed out. Need a backspin shot? Too bad. High shot? Not for you, chump. Id like to see ALL the choices we worked so hard to master returned. And Id like to play from closer tees once in a while the 6th position gets old all the time.
Recently began receiving pop up upon startup requesting permission for Golf Star to paste from our messages. Thats a bit concerning, no reason to review our personal messages. Respect boundaries. Not willing to sacrifice our privacy to that degree for a mediocre golf game. Glad iPhone at least makes us aware of this instead of granting access without authorization.
Keeps timing us out after tee shot. Unable to play.
This new version is very slow and lags a lot. Also we have been having to spend about 5 minutes downloading 1000 mb of data each time we log in.
Poorly coded. Crashes. No support.
Most of the time theres an update needed which requires multiple downloads. But once the game is ready there are 10-15 reconnects needed. Im sure everyone says its not our wifi however. We play multiple game apps and never experience this reconnecting with any of them. Before deleting Golf Stars for the 4th time we deleted all our other games and even some of our streaming apps to be sure it wasnt our phone. Immediately after reinstalling and the 200+ downloads. We received our first and several more reconnect messages following after 10 min into the game. Best golf game Ive ever played, when we played.
This game is horrible for match play. Graphics are good gameplay is smooth. However every time we do a 1 vs 1 it always lets us make first shot but after opponent gets closer to the hole and we can make our second shot it says we have timed out and we lose a stroke. This happens every time shot until our opponent makes it in the hole than it tells us we have disconnected and lost the round this is completely unfair especially when we get within 5 yards from the hole on a par 3.
We were under the impression that the idea of a computer game was for the player to have fun and enjoy themselves. We understand that the creators need to make money off their game. Having said that we are wondering why they created golf star in which the player [us] loses about 90% of the time. Your computers player hardly ever miss a putt and everytime we get birdie they get eagle or when we get eagle they get an albatross. They also award a Halve the Hole to the computer. Now we dont mind losing but we expect to win once in awhile. Even sometimes we win and they dont give us the prize. Now if you creators were in our shoes, would you continue to play? If you guys decide to make it more fair or even, we bet you get more customers.
From our last review: Also, why are half the missions requiring you to play other people? We do not want to engage other people, we want to play golf. Stop forcing us to play with other people to complete missions. No world championships, no match challenges, no event tournaments. We want to be able to do all missions by ourselves. They didnt listen to us, and now require you to play with other people to advance. We play the tour only and cant get gold coins and only get regular equipment. If we cant advance, we wont play. Also, a game feature that we bought with gold coins earned in game for alts now costs $44.99. Are you kidding us? Thats more than our cell phone bill, our electric bill, or our car insurance bill. You want us to spend that much money for one extra putting guide (which often doesnt help) every nine holes that we have to play against strangers online? Not gonna happen. We are still collecting daily, hoping against hope the game is changed for the better, but we will be downloading other golf games to play.

This game has nice graphics and is very colorful. Its quite realistic adding to the enjoyment. Overall, fun to play.
This game is pretty cool to play. With that being said, dont play people from China as most, not all, but most of them use hacks. Tell us how a player can get multiple hole in ones in one 9 hole competition including two Par 5s. Ridiculous.
Everything with this game could be great. Unfortunately there are way too many flaws that keep this from being a 5 star game. A perfect shot from the rough with a 5wood should not only fly 80yards. A bunker shot with a perfect lye should not be as difficult as a shot that is deep. Then once you get to more advanced course, idea of having to hit around fallen trees on fairway, or the window of ancient ruins to get on a green is dumb. Unfortunately the flaw of the game become way more frustrating than the little enjoyment of this game.
