This game is very well put together and enough spook factor to keep you on the edge of your seat. Loving it! Some very clever tasks to perform. Hidden object scenes are fun and have a different variety to them on some. Lots of puzzles to keep any brain cobwebs from forming. Teleporting map, as well as morphing and collectible items. Highly recommend picking this one up. We personally, found it Very Entertaining!!! Happy Spooky Gaming Everyone!!! KdBoots ( Too bad it wasnt a longer game) Games are way too short these days – especially when we only get 2 New Releases a week. Need more releases Big Fish.

We would love to play this game we even purchased the full version but the screens are all blank please help.

Perfect. PERFECT. Our favorite b/f games have been the haunted hotel series. Nothing negative to say about it.

Thanks once again BF & Elephant Games for yet another scary trip to a haunted hotel. Terrific graphics & effects. Good HOPs and puzzles. Throughly enjoying game. If you like the Haunted Hotel series youll love this latest version.

Stunning graphics. Good story, entertaining.

The game was good but it wasnt worth paying $6.99 to play it.

Fun Puzzle game but needs more hidden objects.

The game was really well done and we especially liked all the hints you can access! We only wish there was more!!! K. Stams.

It was hard to go to your tools without we making you go into the previous scene. Shirt but good. We like this serious but theyre always so short.

Looked fun and was actually enjoying it but it doesnt conform with the iPhone screen and every time we try to use any tool it either closes the screen or shuts off what Im doing. Very frustrating.

This game was decent. It had good graphics and puzzles could be pretty challenging at times. We honestly was just a bit disappointed with the story. We thought it could have been more complex and had a less just… Plain… Story. There wasnt really even much of a story. We havent played the bonus chapter yet, but we hope it further explains and somewhat adds to the original story. We just honestly wish that there could be more to this game like the older and classic games. (Sadly, most have been removed from the App Store after iOS 11.) we just wish the more recent games could be more complex and be scarier. Its about a haunted hotel, so we were expecting scary jump scares, eerie scenes, and a ghostly story to go with it. We like the original style of Big Fish Games, and we have noticed a difference in quality between the classic, original games and the newer games. The earlier games have seemed to have more of a story and been scarier. We know the change might be beneficial by making it less scary for kids, but we honestly was very disappointed after the change in game style. The old games were full of complex stories and plot twists. The story for this game was more like this: 2 married people die. Husbands ghost haunts house and kidnaps someone. Wifes ghost is summoned. Everyone lives happily ever after. We honestly felt disappointed with the story of the game itself, but we hope to have a better experience story-wise with the bonus chapter. Im aware Big Fish Games probably doesnt read reviews, but we honestly just wanted to say that we miss the style of the older games.

We liked the plot and flow through the game. Nice combination of puzzles and hidden objects. We had one freeze but restarting our iPad took us right back and no further issues. The creepy music and some scares were great. Our minus one star is the hidden objects are dim and often double-action (you have to move things or grab things, etc.) we don’t like that it’s tedious.

So heres another cheerful installment in the Haunted Hotel series! We understood what Dracyy was saying, but we are addicted to Elephants gameplay. The storyline was pretty basic, about love gone horribly wrong. The graphics were the usual somber tones indicative of the series. You get the usual perks: lots of collectibles (morphing objects, business cards and picture pieces), plus items, customizable settings, and a marked teleport map. At each location there was a plethora of tasks to complete. The HO scenes had the usual variety, although there were a couple of interesting ones. There were plenty of puzzles/games. Many were rotational in nature, others were codes, and there were also a couple which tested your dexterity. The gimmick is a device called Patrick; we wont go into details because that would spoil the fun for you. The game was a decent length inclusive of the bonus adventure. Our true rating is 4.5 stars. We really enjoyed the game, and we deducted the half star because it was really easy to back tap to a prior location or out of a puzzle, and because we found the map button a bit unresponsive. Other than that, we were entertained by this gloomy and somber game (talk about an oxymoron)! Happy gaming to everyone!

Honestly, how many amulets can there be? This is a never ending progression of find amulet, insert amulet, receive another amulet! The hops are list, silhouette, and find the matching pairs. The mini games are interesting, ranging from easy to medium. Graphics are good. We got excited, based on the opening scene, that our protagonist was going to be a black male. But no. Morphing objects in all 25 scenes, yes just 25, including the bonus game. Morphing collectible cards and picture pieces to find as well. Although there is not an achievement for finding any of the collectibles. Storyline poor. Spoiler alert: You never find out who killed Bella. Was it Alexander? If so, why? Theres nothing to indicate that they were anything but a loving couple. Why does the house kill everyone but not James? The story could have been good but they just didnt seem to care. We were torn between 3 and 4 stars, would have given 4 simply for the better than average mini games, but the repetitive gameplay made us go with 3.

We were enjoying this game, until we hit a bug that kept us from progressing. It was far enough along that there was no way we were starting over, so we deleted. On the plus side, the music, games and graphics were nice.

Im in the church and we click on the dragonfly and light match….. But wont do anything! HELP !

So far, its a great game! Solid story, pretty good graphics, and the voice acting doesnt make us want to barf. The reason Im giving it 3 stars though is because of the controls. And by controls, we mean selecting objects on hand to use. The object list is on the bottom of the screen and to use one, its click and drag. If your like us and have an iPhone, unfortunately, this is also the motion to see all open apps. So it takes a few tries to actually get an object rather than change the screen. Infuriating at times, but we can live with it.

We downloaded the game on our iPhone and for some reason the graphics look unfixed and strange, like it was in the development process. We wish we could add photos but we cant so until then we have to halt the game cause we cant see anything.

The screen when we downloaded during game play was sooooo neon that we couldnt even see what was going on Im going to try to redownload it and see if it fixes it if not Ill give up.

The games kind of glitchy but hopefully it gets better the next day.

Beautiful game excellent story , design but every time we use a tool we minimize the screen.

The hint says there is something to do in valentines room but when you are there the hint button doesnt respond. And there is literally nothing to do there to move forward!

The game isnt working and the pictures are distorted and game crashes.

We used to enjoy this series but they are all starting to blend together. Overly dark and drab colors throughout making it difficult to discern items in the background. Overly touchy controls. One tap a hair too close to the bottom and back you go. Same few scenes but lots of back and forth with no overly logical reason or game flow. If we wasnt bored we would have passed.

Game is designed well initially, but it asks for payment to continue before the player has a chance to become involved in the story or really see whether its worth the money. Some of the puzzles are elementary and should be redesigned (moving a ball through a basic maze by tapping arrows) and the creepy vibe really wasnt selling yet.

We’re sure you devs are aware by now, but the inventory is right on top of the home control on the new iPhones. And you have to drag can’t even click them then click again where you want to place the item. But other than that it was pretty fun. We’re a bit biased as a huge fan of The HH series, (The X was incredible), but it was a bit short and as others said the colors were super drab to look at. Plot was also feeling way too familiar to a lot of BF games, but we digress. Still was kinda creepy but please kick up the creep factor some more!!

This game is fun to play and the storyline is intriguing, but its not optimized to play on iPhones that dont have a home button. Every time we try to pull an item from the items bar it just closes the app because of the motion we use. We cant even double tap or anything to get an item, we have to drag and drop.

We should have played the demo before purchasing the game. We assumed that since its an Elephant game, the would have been fun to play. Our mistake. Too dark to locate collectibles. The interactive map does not show hidden collectibles. We also did not know what collectibles to locate, except for jigsaw puzzle pieces and morphing objects. The game became increasingly boring and frustrating, due to the darkness. The major glitch, however, is that the bottom of the screen is too touch sensitive. This is glaringly apparent during the HOPs. The game kept returning us to the previous screen.

We were enjoying this game and we even bought the full version… Until Apple updated the OSI and now we cant see the game at all! Maybe they could fix this?

Its hard to play due to the items being a the bottom of the screen. This causes the app to close when we try and click and drag the items due to the phones set up. Fun game though.

Repetitive but enjoyable til Game crashed word with no access to objects or items to complete the game just an endless loop. It will not even let youplay the other games as no means to retrieve items.

We couldnt see past the glitchy squares all over the screen. Would love to be able to play but cant due to the glitches.

We love these types of games and this one seems REALLY well put together. We want to love it but cant. We would give this game 5+ stars if we were able, but Im having a major issue with it thats completely stopping our ability to play it. The tool bar at the bottom of the screen interacts with the iPhone XS function where you swipe up to switch apps or close apps. Every time we try to grab a tool the phone tries to close the app. What makes this worse is we paid extra money for the Collectors Edition and cant play the game. Hopefully this is something the developers can fix.

The intro was as any usual game like this but then as it went to the intro screen it was really buggy and had really bad glitches we tried re downloading and it happened again. Really unfortunate :(

Hard to play when grabbing items and it keeps trying to exit.

Obviously we will change this if we can get this issue resolved but we also know this is a big company. The game screen is constantly glitched and we cant find a way to fix it, Id attach a screenshot if we could. As is the game is unplayable.

In one of the hidden object scenes you need to find several stars, but the sun is also in the picture. The sun IS a star, people, and ambiguity in a hidden object scene is a dealbreaker for us.

It didnt say anywhere in the about section of this app that you need to purchase the game for a full version, which blows. We spent a good 20 minutes really getting into the game and then found out we needed to buy the full version to continue… Pretty upset about that. You guys should definitely put that in the description of the app. It was a fun game until we couldnt play anymore.

As soon we tried to play the game there are white spots all over the screen. We thought it was part of the game and hoped it would clear up eventually but it turns out to be a glitch. We gave two stars hoping they would fix the problem.

Id love to give it a 5 star and it looks really fun but the graphics are messed up and we cant see just what Im tapping on. Please fix it!

Shortest free trial we’ve ever played. No real puzzles, just find an object here or there.

We’ve played more hidden object games than we can count and majority of the Haunted Hotel ones are right up our alley but this one spank you is a bit to easy. Its also to short sounding from the description on the unlock purchase page. Couldnt bring myself to pay 6.99 for this one.

Should definitely make it obvious that you can only play for five minutes before you have to buy the full version.

Got to the second floor, put key 12 into lock, got in the room but before we could start playing, a skull came up stating that it was loading, bedroom scene came up, then back to loading, then to a page where you can buy the bonus edition. Clicked the x to get out, but game kept going to the purchase page. Had to delete entire game. Not working correctly.

We couldnt get it to play with any sound on the iPad. We contacted customer support at BigFish and they were zero help.

Broken for months now, everything is glitched and unplayable.
