This game is adorable and we are obsessed. Please please release new worlds!!! Ive been stuck with Frigmar Anchorage completed for a few months! We will say that even once you complete the available worlds, the events are fun and keep us playing.
Mastered the game. Ran out of content. Dead game now. Fun while it lasted tho.
We play it everyday, its fun and addictive. This game doesnt suffer from unfair pay to win competitions. U can easily win the event runs no cheating needed just smart managing the troops. Focus on getting a ton of archers, if u get the paladin? Get him to lv 1000, its easy. Paired with the only healer in the game n 1-3k archers? Unstoppable! Story wise, when u get to the super hard winter stage? Its gonna be haaaard! But dont rush it, they havent updated it yet. In the time being events get our purple guys stronger. We just wish we could visit old towns to max them out.

Bro we absolutely love this the game and the characters LEFT ME SO SPEECHLESS BUT UGHHHH we wish there was more to do! Like talk with the characters or hang out with them! That would be so cool.
We believe this game has taken about 2 months of our time which is a long time for a phone game IMO. We have spent probably around $60 on this game and we dont have any regrets about that. Stage 12 is the current final level and we cant wait for more in the future. We liked the progression rate and balancing production for the different zones was fun, prices are fairly justified IMO, but we believe others might disagree.
Interesting game and we like how it does this and theres not really game like.

So this game is a lot of fun. It threw a lot at us when we first started and it was overwhelming, but we eventually got the hang of it. We have two complaints. One is that there is a typo a when you finish a dungeon (its says finaly) and the other is why Im writing the review. This game doesnt want you to play it. You get a set number of rewards, adventures, and dungeons each day. Once youre done with those, thats it. Theres nothing to do. Come back tomorrow. You also get double rewards if you stay off the game and come back. Theres no benefit to keeping the game open. Its frustrating to try to play a game that doesnt want you to play it. Theres a daily requirement to complete not attempt, complete four dungeons, but you only get four dungeons a day. If you fail a dungeon, you dont get the daily reward even if you do everything else. Overall a fun game, we just wish it wanted us to play it.
Needs to release a new update, feels like the game got couched. Beyond that its fun, the later villages get a little pricy and the balancing doesnt make much sense.
A lot of progress can be made and it is definitely a game that can soak up time if you want it to. However it feels like the developers have abandoned the game. Youll get to a certain point where youre waiting for an update to release the next map to unlock however its been 6 months since the last update and itll take you 1 – 2 months to make it to that point. But once youre there you just accumulate resources for nothing. Once a new map is available you start from scratch on that map so resources arent worth collecting when youve completed the map.
Need more game! Too much fun! We need that update.

Theres a lot of us (just check reddit) waiting for an update. Weve upgraded everything we can. Please release new levels.
You guys need to come up with a better way here. Ive been stuck at Frigmar Anchorage for .for several weeks because of the requirements to upgrade the houses. Ive maxed out the upgrades on that shop and it still takes forever. There is no $$$ fix eitherjust come back every 15 minutes to build another x100 of a thing for what is a 5 million building requirement per a house.
Had a lot of fun developing our village/town but have gotten to the last village and now there is essentially nothing left to do besides participate in the event. They say they will add more content but it seems like with every update they just fix small bugs. Wish they would add more and also make it so you could pull legendary heros easier. There is essentially no way to get them besides the events and we dont want to have to spend literal year of our life just to get our legendary characters to a point where they are usable in the event.
We enjoy this game quite a bit. We wish the developers would update it. Also, the event is so repetitive, and honestly a cash grab. Perhaps add some variations or increase rewards. Trading could be better.
We love playing this game but its a little repetitive after a while. Each town same process, same event over and over just with a different hero. We also hate when games give clear advantages to cash players and then introduce a competitive element. But our biggest complaint is probably that the game isnt connected to any socials so adding friends is difficult.
It shows up when using those eyes, even when you bought the no-ad packs. Its annoying. And please add the ability to open multiple boxes at once, our thumb hurts due to the open 50 chests task.
We really enjoyed this game, honestly the only thing worth buying is the no ads. A daily building game but the content runs out early stating new towns will be added when it updates. Sadly it looks as though the developer will never update with new content as the first snow town gets maxed with nothing new to do.
Fun game but its been months since the last update, seems like they are just focusing on the weekly challenge. Game has good bones and a lot of potential.
There are only 12 villages available in its current form. Until that point it was a great idle game. Right now the only thing to look forward to and spend resources on are the end of the week events.
Love the game, reminds us of old school role playing game but its limited in progression. The last time this happened the dev team responded stating new expansions coming soon and 2-3 months later it did, yay! This expansion, Frigmar Anchorage, was going to take some time so another 3 months or so we thought Id be able to progress but its been close to a year now and nothing new.
On the grindy side. Seems to have been abandoned by devs. Feels like a couple months of content until you reach the end available towns.
This game has really high potential. We still play it as we enjoy the goal of maxing out the heroes and the castle. The event is rinse and repeat every week but helps with the grind towards maxing everything out. We have finished the main game months ago and havent seen an update for more villages since. Hoping to see one soon as Id love to see this game grow and improve.
Would get a higher rating if they would come out with new villages.
The game was great we played daily but we just made it to the desert. And there you need water (shocker) but no matter what you do you cannot get in the positives. It drains so much per minute and we can never get out of it to build new structures. Ill probably just uninstall very disappointing.
Was a great game until they stopped updating around three months ago. We strongly advise anyone playing to not spend any real money because it has become truly pointless. Ive just about given up waiting for new levels, its a shame because it really was fun.
We absolutely love this game, very obsessed in it, the sounds are peaceful, the music is nice, and we love updating our hero's and doing the dungeons. We do wish the that we could train our hero's to help with boosting their stats, that would be nice. Our ours issue is the events, we do love the events but we hate that once the event ends and we spent days building up that world that just goes away. It would be nice if in every event, that world would be exactly how we left it, instead of starting all over again from scratch. And then once that world is down, you get a newer version of the event world. Another issue is the time to create an item. It can say it'll be done in 6 hours and then 13 hours later(literally) it will say it'll be finished in 4 hours. That makes no sense… Something is wrong here.
Strange game we steam roll through level 16 dungeons and get slaughtered in level 6.
The game is really fun, but there just isnt enough content to get your moneys worth. There are only 12 towns, and the last one has a wall that takes so many actual days to get through. Im out of content after about a week of playing. Whatever you do, dont buy the premium pass for your very first event- you wont be strong enough to complete it and so you wont be able to collect the rewards you paid for.
So to start with the good, the game itself is so fun! Heroes to run DnD style dungeons with, heroes to run your castle, a village you need to also build to progress around the map. Overall, a very well made game! The way you obtain resources with the eyes is very unique. But overall, the game is too greedy. First off its $20 USD for the no ad experience. Thats way too much, it should be 10. Especially since youll spend more time watching ads than playing the game because the resources you obtain from watching the ads are not just good, theyre vital. Its $5 USD just so you can go offline for longer than 2 hours. All quality of life is locked behind money and none can be obtained through playing the game. On top of that we only have been through 1 event, but it was one of the biggest P2W events Ive ever seen. The resources gained from the free version of the event are awful and even if you do pay for the premium resources you need to put more money in on top of that just to get enough out of the event to make your money worth it. So overall its an enjoyable game to play if you have some money to spend. If you dont, we suggest finding another game. And even if you have the money to spend Id find a different game because feeding into the greed doesnt help.
Incomplete game that requires unreasonable time to progress. At the time of writing this review, the game has not received an update in 9 months. None of the other games this publisher owns have also received updates in this time. While trying to sell itself as an idle game, progression is tied directly to frequent log ins. The current final area requires logging in to the game every 15 minutes for maximum efficiency. The first half of the final area requires 50 hours of doing this process. Currently this game is only for people who are actively trying to find ways to waste their time.
The app needs to be updated more regularly, parts of the game are soft locked behind grinding small amounts of resources at a time. Or purchasing gems to speed it up.
This game used to be pretty good, exactly like the ads which were a plus. But they havent updated it in months and there are many missing features. We suspect the devs have abandoned it. Its fun until you reach the last village, then you have to repeat the same $10 event over and over. We wouldnt recommend starting it as the balance changes have made it punishing for new players, and since the game isnt being updated its not worth spending money on.
Some parts of this game are fun, but others not so much. For example, the dungeons are really frustrating and difficult.
Really love this game so far. Finally hit a point again where we could actually progress. Was so excited about the event pass, we love to see new heros until we saw that at the end of the free pass you only get one fragment when you need 3 to unlock the Heros. So now you have to wait/hope for that hero to come back around. Super frustrating and we wont be playing the event anymore because this is a compete waste of time. If you really cared about your players you would make it so you can unlock the event hero at the end of the pass. Even money grab games gives similar content to the people that dont buy the pass. Its a beautiful game but this is really frustrating.
We check this game quite a bit. And it hasnt had any significant updates in a long time. The game feels abandoned by the developer. Its a fun game, but with no new content being added and it being seemingly forgotten. If is not worth the time sink and definitely not worth any additional money. Let alone any money if you havent even played this game. Id encourage not downloading this game until updates resume.
We used the mining tools before the tutorial but now cant even play the game without paying for more mining tools to progress because we used them too fast we guess? So played for about 20 mins and had fun till it glitched out. Hate forced tutorials and no guidance on mining bc we were ahead of it and now cant progress. No way to reset either so just dont waste your time.
The game could have potential but it needs work. So far each village Ive played has had a bug that Ive had to wait for devs to fix to progress, right now Im stuck making 30k iron which doesnt seem so bad but when the game only idles for 2 hours its kind of ridiculous. Event play is boring and repetitive. The whole game is just tedious motions with no real payouts for progress. Unless you pay the $15 to remove ads (which unfortunately we did) we dont even recommend downloading. Im stubborn enough to play until we feel like Ive enjoyed our $15 out of it, but it doesnt feel like the developers care about this game at all.
But we dont have enough wood. It is slowly generating but what the heck. An hour later we might be able to build it. Will come back and update review later if game is worth the waiting just to START.

1) Greed Blessing of %25 isnt working 30 gems isnt +2 its atleast 7 2) cant see Arcane deck cards. We like to see what cards we have so we can keep opening chests to get the cards to try and have zero low cards in our deck. We dont want a bunch of 1-2-3-4s. So again, we like to see how many more chests we need to open and try for what card we need to have all cards over 4 or 5. Hello.
It has potential but still could use a little work.
The game is super fun but late game players struggle to keep enjoying it when we can go onto the next town and are just waiting for events all the time. Also there needs to be a better way to get astral essence for high level hero's. Overall we love the game and hope they dont abandon the project.
The last few updates have really ruined the game with resource management. Developers, stop being lazy. Instead of changing resource production rate and unbalancing things to slow game progression, heres an idea, MAKE MORE CONTENT. Youre rapidly loosing customers.
